The burger was cooked to a perfect medium and the melted cheese ran down the sides of the bun when I bit into it. It was loaded with sautéed mushrooms and crispy thick sliced bacon. The burger was drizzled with a sweet and tangy sauce that had hint of Bourbon. The chips may have been homemade, I'm not sure, but there were plenty of them. Norton's of Green Lake is back--and it's not just because Gage purchased the restaurant…read more While Gage is making meaningful improvements, much of the credit also belongs to Greg, the manager, whose leadership has helped restore Norton's to the place we all know and love. About a year ago, I wrote a very critical review because, in my opinion, the restaurant had fallen far below the standard that made it a Green Lake favorite. That review has since been removed because it no longer reflects today's experience. With new ownership, strong leadership, and a renewed focus on quality and service, Norton's has made an impressive comeback. If you had a disappointing experience over the past year or so, I encourage you to give it another try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
