Love Doggie Central. The grooming services are the best!!! They treat Eleanor like a Queen!!!

My dog Enzo loves loves loves going to DC. He gets so excited when we start driving closer to it. All the people working there are so kind. We followed them from Culver City and are so happy we did.

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE! I recently had my first boarding experience (5 days) at Doggie Central for my 10 month old black lab, Snacks, and it will most certainly be my last. They provide access to a live stream of the various boarding areas, and while I was watching Snacks during his 3rd day of boarding, I saw at least one dog attack him, which caused the caretaker to run over and take the other dog away. I immediately called and asked if my dog was okay. The person at the front desk immediately went to check on what was going on. When they came back, they said that he was okay and the other dog would be permanently removed from the area. I was also watching the caretaker check on him, so I believed them and felt at ease about how it was being handled. I'm not going to fault a dog boarding facility for any issues like this, HOWEVER, when I picked up Snacks 2 days later, he had numerous obvious bite marks and small puncture wounds on both sides of his face!!! I immediately went back in and asked them how they could miss this. Their response: there is nothing on his file about any incidents... How could he possibly be there for 2 more days and no one notice the obvious missing patches of hair on his face?? There are also scabs on his face, so he must have been bleeding, which means he went multiple days without proper medical care for his wounds. Not to mention, the other dog(s) who did this will be okay to board there again since there's no apparent record of any of this happening. I emailed them photos of Snacks' wounds and then took him to the vet and got him on antibiotics. The owner, Rigo, called me soon after we returned from the vet and apologized for his staff not following protocol and said they'd pay for any vet visit we have. In my opinion, this seems like the absolute bare minimum they could offer but I'm not here to try to leverage my situation to get further discounts. The fact the pictures I sent them automatically caused them to offer vet reimbursement but did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING while Snacks was staying there tells me everything I need to know to advise anyone considering anything offered by Doggie Central to STOP AND LOOK ELSEWHERE. They do not actually care about your dog and their slogan on their website of "we cuddle your canine when you can't" could not be further from reality.

I was a client of Tender Loving Care for over 17 years, then PetRock Hotel and Spa bought the company, keeping some employees. I have purebred show dogs and they have been groomed by the same employee for year's as this person knows the breed and knows how to groom them. No bones to pick with the employee. It was the new OWNER of PetRock Hotel and Spa. Apparently the NEW owner told the "bather boy" to take care of my dog despite that the only employee for 17 years + has groomed my show dogs. THIS was a SERIOUS PROBLEM AS My dog came back butchered! This is a spitz breed that carries a lot of coat and HUGE ruff which was mutilated to almost nothing but 2 inches!! My poor dog looks awful and looks like a starving coyote!! Plus, I have been charged almost double since the new owner took over and also charged me credit card fees in excess of $5 per dog. IF YOU HAVE SHOW DOGS, DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They don't known how to groom show dogs they are just clipper hacks that charge way to much money to butcher your dog!! NEVER COMING BACK!! Below are photos of what my dog should look like in full coat, and what the dog looked like after I picked up my dog, which is naked. I can't even show my dog for at least 6 months due to the hair being pulled out. The regular groomer, Miguel has always groomed my dog but for some reason the new owner let a totally untrained rookie hack and wanna be groomer pull out all my dog's hair for a bath and blow dry only!! UNBELIEVABLY PISSED OFF!!

It used to be well-run under the previous manager, Kirsten, but the quality of care has completely collapsed under the new management. In May 2025, our dog was returned to us with almost all of her food untouched. Initially they tried to give every excuse trying to explain the discrepancy. However after thousands in vet bills, the manager (Nan) eventually admitted she was likely fed the wrong food or not fed at all. We received a refund and were promised better oversight personally from Nan. In September 2025, despite our experience in May, during my wife's medical emergency, we boarded her for one night. She was returned to us yet again with her food untouched. Staff told us she had been fed, but after more health issues, the manager later confirmed on camera that she had not been fed at all. [Email w/ the admission in screenshot] This isn't a one-time mistake. It's clear neglect followed by dishonesty. No responsible pet owner should ever trust this facility again. Be careful about looking at all the good reviews about Diana and look at the few that are bad,…read morebecause while she has alot of good reviews, the bad ones are BAD. This is something I failed to do when I hired Diana last year to walk my dog daily during the week while I was at work. Diana was terrible and I would never recommend her as a dog walker. I also waited a year to post this after I moved from LA, because I was afraid about backlash (based on a previous review that someone left where Diana refused to give back his keys and was a nightmare to deal with). It started when Diana couldn't even get my name right when I called her and left a voicemail and she called me back, I had to remind her to send me daily texts that she arrived to my place to walk my dog (something she assured me she would do and is not my job to remind her to do while I am working), she once showed up an hour late to walk my dog and told me she was running late after she showed up an hour late (? wouldn't be that hard to send me a text at the time she was supposed to walk my dog to let me know she was running late? Make it make sense), was not affectionate at all with my dog when she picked her up to walk her (viewed via doggie camera), started rummaging through my clothing drawers/cabinets and continued to do so after I told her I saw her on my doggie-camera and asked her to politely stop. Unnecessary and inappropriate to rummage through my belongings for no reason. It was the last straw and I fired her. However, after reading through the Yelp reviews after I saw her going through my personal belongings and found the terrible reviews--I was afraid to fire her outright. So I had to come up with a lie to get her to return my keys. Fortunately, it didn't get messy. Based on some old reviews, Diana has claimed to not know people who left her bad reviews, so that might happen here--but I have screenshots of her rummaging through my personal belongings in my dresser. I uploaded photos of proof of her rummaging through my belongings, Venmo transactions, and text messages.

It's amazing to see how much he's grown in such a positive way. What really sets The Ranch apart is how much they focus on the owner, too. Importantly, they've helped me understand how to properly train Monty and step into a clear, confident leadership role for him. That guidance has been huge--it's not just about what happens during training, but how we continue it at home every day. They take the time to explain everything, answer questions, and make sure you feel confident moving forward. Because of that, the results feel lasting and sustainable, not temporary.
