He seemed off from the moment I took the leash; in the car, he collapsed into the back seat, drooling. Ultimately, I took him to the vet who diagnosed him with bloat and miraculously saved his life. While I don't blame Animal Inn for the bloat, they did miss the symptoms while he was in their care; and when we spoke by phone before I knew the diagnosis - I was calling to see how his eating and elimination had been - they were not forthcoming. Nor did they call back to see how the dog was. To the owners, I would say, learn about bloat, the #2 killer of dogs (especially large dogs) and work a bath into your business model: giving a filthy, smelly dog back to the owner is not good business practice.

No or very few cats in cages, outdoor "catios" for the cats to bird-watch, etc., with no possibility of escape. Dogs are in comfortable kennels with outdoor runs as well. Every time we would drive by the facility he would get so excited thinking he was going there. Everyone that works there is incredible! Selma herself is the best! No matter what time or how short notice, she always managed to become available to us. We have left Oakley over night with her multiple times and she cared for him like he was her own. She even cooked him stew one night! We got into a car accident once, while Oakley was at the center. Without us even having to ask she offered to drive him to my families home so that we could focus on the accident. Even though we moved too far to use her services weekly I will still always go to her for boarding and special occasions. She's the only one I trust.
