When I picked him up, I was absolutely horrified. His eyes were bulging, bloodshot, and rolling back in his head. He looked completely out of it it was terrifying. I rushed him to the vet immediately, where I was told he had suffered from asphyxiation. I can't begin to describe how upsetting this has been. I've trusted your team with my little Malshi before and never imagined something like this could happen. I dropped him off believing he would be safe, cared for, and closely watched. But what I picked up was a traumatized, unresponsive puppy who is still, days later, not the same. Since bringing him home on Saturday at 4 PM, he has done nothing but sleep. His eyes can barely open, and he's completely lethargic. It's now Monday at 2:30 PM, and I'm still watching over him, worried sick, hoping he'll be okay. This is not normal and it's absolutely heartbreaking. I need to know how this happened. I need to understand how my puppy could've come so close to such a serious medical emergency under your care. This situation is unacceptable and has caused me and my poor pup an enormous amount of pain, fear, and distress. I'm asking for an immediate and honest response, and for you to take this as seriously as it deserves to be taken. My dog is not just a pet he's family Both groomer and shampoo young lady had absolutely no clue of his state .This place should be shut down the groomer obviously knows what she did to our little angel .I would definitely not recommend this to anyone who has a pet who is family we almost lost ours from being choked while grooming . We had been to a few vets before finding Dr. Foley. I didn't agree on the advice I was given about treating Mildred's diabetes. Dr. Foley was extremely caring with Mildred and her issues. We eventually put her to sleep, after a very long life. The vet tech who had a soft spot for Mildred was even crying when we did it. Fast forward to 2018 when our elderly Puggle, Daisy was put to sleep. She also had received top notch care at South Bellmore, she was a part of the family for 15 years. Dr. Foley has always been very kind and patient. He always tells it like it is. I appreciate that in a vet.

Scheduling an appointment has always been pretty easy, and the front desk staff have always been very nice/helpful to me. After adopting my formerly feral girl, i was a frequent flyer for a few months with prep, surgery, and after care visits, and they were always willing and able to answer my questions regarding prescriptions and payments. Most recently, I saw Dr. Lotus Altholtz, who was very kind and gentle to my 2 nervous cats (though my cats might complain that she wants me to cut back on their treats a bit). The biggest stars though, are the assistants (nurses ?) who help keep my 2 calm and on the table during exams. They are all very friendly, and help put both my cats and me, a very nervous first time cat owner, at ease. Sometimes appointment waits run a little long, but its a small price to pay, and they are certainly more timely than any of my doctors! I would definitely recommend using them as your vet!
