The staff was always so incredibly understanding and empathetic to his situation and made every accommodation for him to feel safe. We really appreciated the text message and photo check ins to know how he was doing. As nervous owners it really helped reassure us he was in a safe loving situation. The penthouse option allowed the staff to be completely hands off but still give him the freedom to be inside or outside as needed. Staff was friendly, kept us up to date on how our boy was doing. It was our first time leaving him since we adopted our dog. So the small updates helped ease our mind. I believe our boy was feeling sad towards the end of our vacation and wasn't eating much just days before we arrived home. Again the staff was amazing , kept us up to date, worked with us to help Bruno eat and lift his spirits. The grooming part, we are very happy with. Bruno came from a troubled past, sadly he was mistreated and he suffers from anxiety and has a fear of nail trimming and baths. But thankfully we found someone who is very patient, kind and Bruno responds very well with. He's a very affectionate dog and soaks up all the love and attention he gets when he goes in for his grooming

Her schedule books up really quickly- and that's a good sign for any groomer. People like her and her team at Hounds Haven. She has helped my dog recover from major skin and hair loss (alopecia) issues. She uses hypo allergenic shampoo and is really gentle with her. The CBD oil that Kim sells has benefited this dog along with the melatonin treatment I have her on. The staff was friendly, kind, and overall the nicest folks I have ever met in the vetting world! knowledgeable, they offered options and advice, and absolutely treated my GIANT Doodles ears with the concern and love all we Doodle owners hope for. I mean, let's face it, Doodles are typically in one of three phases.... getting an ear infection, having an ear infection, or being treated for..... an ear infection. (They are kinda the cocker spaniels from the 70's, but on steroids in the standard doodle size) My precious baby boy, all 113 pounds of his fluffy high maintenance chicken allergy poodle belly butt, is happy again as we are moving into phase three, treating and healing from an ear infection. These folks are the gold standard of vet care I have always sought. seriously, as a downtown chicago kid, moved to owning a farm and adopting a farm tough and farm sensible attitude about my animals care, these nice folks were everything I had hoped for in a new vet practice! Close, convenient, and cost effective without all the bs most vets charge for something as obvious as an ear infection. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Tonka Truck, the dog, hasn't stopped talking about you all since our visit yesterday!
