They might be good for a dog wash, but if your pup requires trimming or cuts, STAY AWAY. The cuts have been very uneven and I usually have to touch it up in places when I get him home. Our pup's legs and eyebrows were completely butchered. They don't seem to know how to give the proper breed haircuts. When they called me back, the person I spoke with was RUDE. Obviously, I cancelled our next appointment and she didn't seem to care at all. If you do decide to use them, know that you have to book 2-3 months in advance. read more

I've been taking my moyen poodle here for more than 6 months now, so I wanted to update my review. Once I figured out the drop off system, I've had nothing but good experiences here and have been happy with the grooming we've received here. My boy needs to be groomed every 3-4 weeks. Not everyone can groom a poodle to look like a poodle these days. They can do Doodle doos and Bichon doos, but not the more complicated Poodle doos These people do it all, including the poodle doos I like. They are prompt and fairly priced too. They might be good for a bath but my cute Havanese had a horrible trim. It looked like a 5 year old took scissors to him. Gashes out of his coat everywhere. His face was the worst. He was totally lopsided. One ear is longer than the other. I called to complain and they told me to bring him back over and she would even him out. It was a little better but then she took a big chunk with her scissors off the top of his head. This picture is before she took the wack off of the top of his head. I had the worst experience with Doggie Doos. They not only butchered my dogs hair (yes he has hair, not fur) I have had a very difficult time getting then to answer their phone or return a message. I have spoken to them twice in almost a month. The first time they said the groomer would call me back and they never did. I just spoke to them again and was told "that they have no idea who groomed him." When I asked for my money back they said "they provided a service and it didn't matter that I wasn't happy with it." I cannot imagine how a supposedly professional groomer could do such a poor job and then not care what the customer was disappointed. read more

I have thought long and hard about this review - and am very sad to write it. But the owner refused to answer my texts, so here I am. I wish I could give a FAIL on this business. DO NOT USE THEM. On June 29th I was charged $55.28 by Doggie Doo's. I had spoken to the owner who told me she has owned Scottish Terrier's and used to cut for 'shows'. When I was given my dog at the drive up, I really didn't get a good look at her until we got home, as she was handed to me through the window of my driver seat at the drive up and Dolly (my Scottish Terrier baby) was moving around the vehicle. One of her eyebrows was almost completely cut away!!!!!! Scottish Terrier eyebrows are a part of the 'look' of a Scotty for crying out loud! Her beard was also almost cut away as well. Hello - The beard is also a Scotty 'thing'! I had also asked them to shave her clean and short due to some matting and brushing issues. The cut was half @$$ed. This is so sad to me, because this business was recommended by a long time friend. I couldn't bring myself to take pictures, because I was so completely angry and could hardly look at my baby for over two months, every time I looked at her I would almost cry. Her eyebrow as of today (4.5 months later) still hasn't grown in all the way, and she is also now afraid of grooming/shears. This review could have been kept quiet - but here I am. read more

I see so many bad reviews of Doggie Doo's here, but we have never had a bad experience with them. Penny and the crew at Doggie Doos do an amazing job with my skittish little Havashon. Since I've been taking him there for years, he's used to it and isn't as fearful of going anymore. They are responsive to special requests (pulling out the hair from inside the ear, nail filing), and make my little white dog look and smell amazing! It is true that once he did get a lot of water in his ears, and he got an ear infection, but that was years ago, and since then they have been very responsive when I asked them to be careful about that. They are a caring group of dog lovers, and if my dog is satisfied, I am satisfied! read more

We have been taking our dog to Doggie Doo's for about a year now. Our experience has always been positive. Cuts are nicely done, she's happy when we pick her up, her coat is soft, and the greeter has always been accommodating. Our dog is a rescue mutt that looks a bit like husky Wheaten Terrier. I called Doggie Doo for an appointment for our golden retriever to get a hair cut in June and today (7/31/20) was the first available. My neighbor told me to be there at 7 AM because they offer a first-in-first-out service and he was able to pick up his dogs around 9 AM. Sounded great because we've only used mobile groomers in the past and our dog was still skittish from last night's thunder storms. An assistant took him in about 7:10 and gave me some paperwork to bring back. I asked if I could pick him up around 9 AM and she said 10 AM would be more like it. I didn't hear anything by 10:30 and went down there (only 5 minutes from our house) to check on him. I was stunned to hear that they had only bathed him and not even started on the grooming and he would be ready some time after 12:30. When I told her she had said 10AM, she adamantly denied it and said I should talk to the owner. Within 30 seconds the owner came out with my dog and told me to leave. No discussion, no explanation (other than "we're not a mobile grooming service!" and "I've been in business for 20 years!"). As I was putting his collar back on and the owner was going back inside, she said to our dog, "It's too bad you have to have a crazy father!" I was too shocked to say anything ... In all fairness, clearly I didn't understand their normal process. My guess is that they collect the pets from 7 to 10 AM before the grooming process begins and that may be fine for some folks but it doesn't work for us and was never explained to me. If it had, I would have just brought him in at 10 and saved him 3 hours of stress. The real concern here is their integrity. I had a great career in sales for 35 years and know when something about an organization is toxic. You'll see from a few other reviews below that the hostility and complete lack of customer service I experienced this morning is not unique. Looking back on the whole experience, I am grateful that he never reached the "grooming" phase. read more

Doggie Doo's has been wonderful for my 2 mini Australian Shepherds. They are rescued dogs and are fearful of everything. I have trouble getting them out of the car to be groomed. The staff at Doggie Doo's come out and help me. The drive through drop off & pick up is great! The owners are kind and compassionate and give back to the community. Koda and Panda have been going to Doggie Doo's since I tried them, at their old location, about 5 years ago. I also take my very old Chihuahua there for nail trims. I wish there was a place for no stars. The way they cut my Goldendoodle looked like a child did it, but this is not what the review is about. I was very kind about it and ALL I said was that his cut was much shorter than I expected and could they trim up his face more. I had heard some negative stories about this groomer and wish I had listened. Deneen, the owner and apparently the groomer, came out to speak to me with a major attitude before I could say anything. I've never been treated so badly. She is one mean gal. I was stunned. I feel sorry for her employees. Needless to say, they won't ever see me there again. read more

Run don't walk away. My dog too had a bloodied paw, and they didn't mention it until as I was driving away I noticed it. I called her when I got home and she says oh it happens all the time, if a dog moves the wrong way, I don't think so, never happened in 11 years to my dog previously. I then brought him back to be cleaned up a week later and they were rude and I asked her to put the dog in the back seat and she said no and shoved him to me. If this is how they are to my face, how are they treating the dogs inside?! What kind of integrity do they have not to even mention they clipped him? I will pay more to go somewhere else. It takes them days to respond and then you are told you have to wait at least a month or more for a simple bath. This has happened twice. I took my dog in once before ( before they got too popular? ) for a bath and a nail clipping. My dog bled all over their floor and on me when I picked her up and they didn't notice until I pointed it out. Her nails were also worse after that clipping... and, they never apologized and CHARGED me for it. I really thought I would give them another chance.. they were too busy. Two months later.. tried again. They were too busy. I told them I just needed a bath and would have to go elsewhere and they responded with '' okay''... On March 28 I took my little Shitzu Darlin to be groomed at Doggie Doo's in Bellevue. When I took her in she had long beautiful fur. They were going to do a "summer cut". When I picked her up she and myself were in shock. They had basically "skinned her" and she had nicks on her body. When I got her home she was violently and continually shaking her head and scratching her ears. Her ears were flinching constantly. When I checked her ears, they were so red to the point of being bloody. It looked like they had "gouged" them in cleaning them. Shortly she started having chills. I took her to vet the next day. They said it looked like they had clipped her so close that it had irritated the skin to the point it would feel like razor burn to her. They gave her a steroid shot to try to calm down the pain. They said she had water in her ears. I don't know why they were so rough with her or what they actually did to her but she is still having problems. It has now been a week and a half later. I noticed she seemed to be having hearing difficulties. She has always has perfect hearing to the point of being able to whisper to her. I took her to another vet yesterday and he said she has very little hearing now and has water still in her ears. It has traumatized her to the point she does not want to be out of my sight. I don't know what they did to her but I know it was not a pleasant or natural grooming visit. I called them about it and they said they would have owner call me but they never did. I placed a call a couple of days later and left word I never did get call from owner. No one has returned my call. I will never go back there. I would be so afraid to leave her ever again there. I am just hoping she can return to her happy little self that she was when I took her in to be groomed. After large vet bills it turned into an expensive grooming visit but the saddest part is the trauma and pain my little little one has been experiencing since that day. read more

Don't take your pets here! Staff is regularly late and unapologetic for it. In fact, I complained to Heather and she became manic and argumentative. Instead of apologizing, she called 911 because I asked to speak to the owner. While this went on from 7:10-7:45 (I stayed to until the police showed up. And worth mentioning the officer also said she was crazy for call 911 ), she left her dogs in the car the whole time. Seriously? And literally this could have all been avoided if she could show up to work on time, or at least apologize for being late. What a joke way to run a small business. Very nice people in a relaxed atmosphere. They do a great job grooming - I've been taking my bichons and pochon there for 5 years or more. The pups come home happy -happy and lookin' good! Doggy Doos came as a recommendation, but I still tried a few places when I first moved to Nashville. This one was the most consistent and best all around. They don't use the heated drying cages (which is a big plus with the little smushed face dogs), are much more reasonably priced than the others, and have always done a great job on both my dogs. (FYI, I usually have to call a week ahead to get an appointment). UPDATE: Missed my dog's dew claw for a while. Trouble with getting voicemails returned on several occasions, but I still prefer them to the other groomers I've tried. read more

I have a miniture poodle who is almost 15 years old. He has never been easy to groom but now that he is older it's worse. I had gone to same groomer in Brentwood for at least 8 years.I originally had 3 miniture poodles but have lost 2.With no notice the groomer said they couldn't take Sam they were worried he had too much anxiety for them to handle.So I decided to go to a vet for grooming in case he had health problems .Soon after they lost their groomer. Thank goodness I went to Doggie Doos and found Heather. She takes her time and has great patience. I take my Sammie every two weeks she does what she can on those days but Sam is not stressed when I pick him up he is clean and feels as he has been taking care of.Leigh and her staff are an answer to my prayers.Penny is helpful and caring letting me know how his day went. I am very upset. NEVER TAKE YOUR DOG TO DOGGIE DOO's. On June 17th I took my Bichon, to Doggie Doo's. He is a rescue dog. I got him back in October 2019. I left him for grooming, nails clipped, etc. Being a rescue dog, he is a nervous dog and he doesn't like strangers messing with his face, the groomer knew that. Anyway, I picked him up around 5:00 pm, after calling to check on him about 4:00 pm. When I picked him up he was constantly shaking his head all the way home or flicking his ears. When we got home he stood in a stupor. I thought, did they drug him. He was like a different dog. The dog was also traumatized. He continued to shake his head violently and flick his ears. I called Doggie Doo's the next day and left a message explaining the problem. They never returned my call. I found out that is how they deal with problems. This violent shaking of head continued. I took him to his Vet. I explained the problem. So I had to leave him for the night. He had surgery the next day. His ears were full of water. Doggie Doo's either didn't clip his toenails or did such a bad job that the Vet had to clip them. After he came out from under anesthesia, he shook his head from the surgery and they began to bleed. They had to put sodium nitrate in his ears to stop the bleeding. He spent the night at the Vet. again. They didn't charge at the Vet for him spending the night I think because the Vet. felt sorry for our dog and us. He really suffered as a result of Doggie Doo's. But their response to my husband was unbelievable. He went over there today, July 1st. You have to drive around to this sliding glass door. This lady came out. My husband said she was nice, he explained the problem. She said she would get the owner, who also was my baby's groomer. My husband didn't even get to say a word. She began by saying, that she didn't touch his head, she had to touch his head when she washed it, not to mention his ears were filled with water. She actually didn't finish clipping his face and told me to bring him back next week sedated and she would clip his face free. I though that was funny when she charged me full price for grooming. Anyway after she told my husband that she didn't touch his head, she continued by saying that she, the owner, was not going to give him any money back. She turned and walked off. My husband said, hey twice, THE OWNER TURNED AROUND AND FLIPPED HIM OFF, . When he told me I couldn't believe him. I was in shock. How unprofessional. A business owner, stooping that low. I was so mad to think that someone suppose to love animals could care less how bad my little dog suffered. Do you want Doggie Doo's working on your animal? This is not the first time they have done this, read "the app" yelp. Many complaints. One women's dog is deaf and traumatized like Chip was. I had a lifetime most unpleasant encounter (of any kind) with DOGGIE DOOS. We've used this dog groomer for ten years, with no problem. Last week they groomed our dog exactly the opposite of my instructions. When I went back for a tweak, I was literally shown the door. I was speechless then, but (obviously) not now. I've been taking my pups to Heather for almost 6 years. She's always taken such good care of them. They love her. Heather went above and beyond this past Christmas. Sydney was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis and spent 5 days in the doggie ICU. Needless to say that when she left the puppy hospital, she was a mess. She had wet and vomited on herself, and rolled around in the food they tried to give her in her crate. Obviously, they were more worried about keeping her alive than they were with keeping her clean. Even though they tried to clean her up before she came home, she was as a mess. Sydney was still not able to stand well and I was nervous to try to bathe her. I called Doggie Doos. Heather's schedule was insanely busy bc it was days before Christmas. But she made time for me to bring in Sydney. As a former vet tech, Heather was experienced with handling sick pups. Sydney came out looking like a princess and it was obvious that it made her feel better! I'll be forever thankful for Heather and Penny going the extra mile to take care of my pups! read more

My pup and I were really down about a flea problem and having never encountered it before I searched the internet for solutions. Read a lot about flea dips... I called another groomer to see if they offered them and they were nasty to me and said they couldn't believe i'd even ask and then hung up. I didn't understand why. When I called doggie doos they let me know politely that the chemicals were bad for my pup. I had no idea! Then they went above and beyond and stayed on the phone with me for near 10 minutes explaining exactly what I should be doing to help my pup. (None of which incuded their services) I haven't had the pleasure of using their services yet but very much look forward to it. The phone repor was enough to let me know they really do care and just want pups to be healthy and happy. Amelie and I look forward to using them for our next grooming visit.
