I can not say enough wonderful things about Creature Comforts Kennels and the amazing owner and team of caregivers that look after my fur baby Dolly. They have gone above and beyond with special accommodations when I have had emergencies and needed to get her in quickly. I have taken her to many different places around the Nashville area and outskirts and this is by far my favorite. It is well worth the drive for me from Nashville to Smyrna. At other kennels my dog would at times not want to get out of the car after a stay or would not want to go inside. She is always happy to get out and doesn't even want to wait for me to check in and she is pulling to go back to the kennels with her, as I call them, "friends", meaning the staff that love her as their own. It has taken me a long time to write a review because I wanted to keep it as my own little secret, but I also want to support them as they have supported me. Thank you, CCK!! read more

Drop my cocker spaniel off this morning when they were done her ears was bleeding where they pulled on her hair so I have another problem that I might have to go to the vet for and they raised the price up. I make the drive from Williamson county to take my two large fluffy dogs here for grooming. First of all, the facility is amazing and spotless. When you walk in, you don't get hit with a kennel smell like most other places. The staff are super friendly and treated my dogs like family. When I picked my dogs up, I was shocked at how amazing they looked! They were super calm and happy so I know that they were treated well all day. My fur babies have never looked better and the prices are totally reasonable. Totally recommend CCK! read more

This kennel is great - dogs happy and healthy and groomed when we pick him up - they send you a fun email daily with a pic of your pup. Next week, we are taking our new 5 month old Standard Poodle Parti Tuxedo coat joining our other dog this time for Fall Break - not looking forward to him being away from me so that's a lot of trust. They take really good care of dogs here - we also use the vet attached to the kennel - not that anything will happen but he's a puppy so in case he eats one of his toys, it's nice there's a bunch of medical staff right there for peace of mind. read more

my mom & I used this business to board and groom our dogs for several years but will never go back. They called to confirm a grooming appointment for this morning for my moms 17.5 year old Maltese and remind us to bring the vet waiver for kennel cough vacc. When we brought her in they refused to groom her saying they will no longer groom old dogs that have a vet waiver for vaccinations. Also at a previous grooming appointment they cut her ear and still charged for the visit and the meds that she needed because of the injury they caused! I have used grooming, boarding, and daycare many times over the past 2 years and have always been pleased with the care they handle my pets with, and the staff is friendly, professional, and helpful . Groomer-Anita (years of experience)and the team is awesome, they are who you want grooming your dog. Kennel-boarding or daycare excellent, they send you pictures ,the only thing I wish they had is cameras to be able to view your animals whenever you want while away. Don't go here to have pets groomed. Owner is not very nice and didn't credit me grooming for my pets like he said he was going to do. He was very rude with my husband and wouldn't talk to me at all. He also said he didn't remember talking to me, but when my husband put me on speaker he all of a sudden remembered and told me that he never promised me anything. read more

They are great. We changed to them because they were closer than where we went normally and we noticed a big difference in our dogs happiness and behavior when returning home. We boarded our non dog friendly Belgium Mal here for a couple days recently and were pleasantly surprised. As a working dog with high training, we are extremely cautious about who we leave her with (and who can actually handle her as all her commands are in dutch) We picked her up happy, healthy, and effortlessly. We had to keep her there a little longer than we intended due to work schedules but when we called to inform them, they graciously worked with us and kept a great attitude. Also a plus that we have never had from a boarder before is they send daily emails from "your dog" with pictures and a cute note. Great touch! read more

Creature Comforts Kennels does a top notch job. Their facility is extremely clean and warm for your pets. Heather made sure to e-mail me pictures daily of Red and Roxy during their play time. Red and Roxy had a couple accidents while in their "home" and their staff made sure to wash their blankets for them. I definitely will trust Creature Comforts for future boarding of my dogs. I did not try their grooming service but plan to do so in the future. read more

This was the first time we've ever left our dogs at a kennel and we couldn't have been happier. We were very apprehensive because our dogs our members of our family, but knowing Creature Comforts was run by the same great group of people that run Premier Vet Care really helped. We received daily emails with pictures and letters from the "dogs" which was very nice. It was like they were away at summer camp. We were also nervous because our dogs are extremely excitable and hyper, to say the least, but the staff at Creature Comforts handled all three of our furry friends with ease. This is our second grooming visit to Creature Comforts. After the first visit, our Shichon Puppy was doing a "boot scoot boogie" with her bottom across our carpet. We had never seen her rub her bottom like that before. After examining, we noticed that the groomer had nicked her butt causing irritation. We chalked it up as an accident and didn't complain to Creature Comforts. The second time we took her for grooming they nicked and razor burned her bottom so badly that our dog will not walk. She has spent the last 24 hours shaking, whining and vomited. Her bottom is completely red and irritated. We called Creature Comforts today to complain and asked what happened. We also sent a them a picture of her injury and asked if there is a certain treatment to make it better. The Manager respond that the injury was not done on purpose and she did not know how it occurred. She simply advised to place Destin on the injury. There was no apology, no offer for a future grooming which would have been the right thing to offer since my puppy is now saturated with Destin after just being groomed yesterday.
