Great cut for my new dog! Called when ready (about two hours) and reasonably priced. Rebooking for sure!

We brought our 120 lb Great Dane / Alaskan Malamute mix, Maggie, in for a deshedding treatment--and we were blown away by the results. Not only did she look fantastic, but she barely shed for almost 3 full months afterward. That's a HUGE win for a double-coated giant like her! The team at Doggie Do's was incredibly professional, courteous, and clearly experienced with large breeds. Maggie can be a bit stubborn, but they handled her with care and confidence--and she came out calm, clean, and happy. We also truly appreciate that they offer a military discount--it's a small gesture that goes a long way and speaks volumes about the respect and integrity of their business. If you have a big dog (or any dog!) and want top-tier grooming with a personal touch, Doggie Do's Grooming Salon is the only place to go. We took our large Samoyed here for a desheading appointment. We were told that the treatment would remove 90% of the shedding, and that he'd return back with his teeth brushed, nailed trimmed, and a little cut around the edges. We were told that it would be $150 max. We were charged $150 and you guessed it, it didn't work. He came back and was still shedding just as bad as when he left. I'm pretty sure his teeth weren't brushed either. They said they couldn't cut his nails because he was difficult (our other groomer has no problem) so they didn't do that either. This isn't the only time we've been there. We have another dog we've brought over there and we're overcharged for that haircut as well $120 for a small little 15lb dog. Their pricing doesn't make sense. $120 for a 15lb dog but "max" $150 for a 50lbs dog? Our other groomer does our 50lb dog for $110. Idk, this place seems like a ripoff to me. There are places much cheaper that will come to you. Personally we won't be going back here but wish the business a lot of luck. read more

On a friend recommendation, I took my 3yo dog for grooming and deshedding. Dawn was very enthusiastic to share and explain the services, as well as provide reassurance regarding products. Also, no pressure! Crystal came out to meet my pup and spent some time to get to know her. I've been to other groomers and have to say that I could tell immediately that the deshedding was a huge positive!!! We just had our anxious dog's nails clipped and Dawn also helped treat/ clean a damaged nail that was in need of extra attention. She was amazing and so wonderful with our scared trembling lab mix. She assessed the situation quickly and then worked with him to get him all set in a matter of minutes. It was very helpful that she worked to get him done smoothly and efficiently due to his nerves! It wasn't till I got my dog home that I realized just how terrible the groom was. Bad enough it looked absolutely nothing like what I very specifically asked for (despite bringing a photo reference) but my dog was cut down to the skin in patches and with visible raw razor burns in two areas. They basically buzzed the whole body to one length-- no scissor cutting at all. Terrible work and overpriced at $100! read more

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! Brought my puppy here for his first haircut ever and the groomer was rude, impatient and SLOPPY. My dog's hair was cut unevenly, his right eyelashes were longer than the left and when we got there to pick up my puppy (mind you they call us to say when they're done with the cut) she realized she DIDN'T cut my dog's nails and brought him back and when she was hurting him he was barking and she said "BE QUIET YOU" to my dog!! Then she proceeded to have me hold him down so she could clip his nails and she did such a BAD job he yelled because he was in pain and she said "oh all dogs do that because they're scared" THEN CUT HIS NAIL TOO SHORT AND HE BLED!!! OVER PRICED FOR A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE JOB!! Never going back here again. Oh and to top it all off when we got home we noticed they didn't even put his collar back on or leave it in the carrier we have!!! read more

Dawn and Corey are my dog's favorite people. They have been grooming Cannoli for the three years that we have owned him and he is in love with him. They do such an amazing job on his little fur and they know just how I like him groomed which is important. I have tried other places because Dawn and Corey had renovated their location so I had to go somewhere else. Nobody listen to me like they do and I did not get the product on my dog that I wanted and paid for. They are so sweet to the animals and when we pull up and Cory comes out the door with his mask on to get Cannoli out of the car Cannoli is absolutely quivering with excitement. When he sees Corey come out the door he starts to cry because he loves him so much. They do an amazing job in a very safe environment at a good price. And they listen which is so important. I loved Dawn and Cory and now that they are in their new renovated location I will never go anywhere else. read more

Dawn and her partner did a FANTASTIC job on our two Golden Retrievers! Shampoo, blow dry, nails, ears, got rid of the "Grinch hairs" on our older dogs paws, and a most needed anal gland clean-out on both!! They were kind and gentle with our dogs who were clearly not traumatized by their experience at Doggy Do's. I only went there to get my miniature Dachshund's nails trimmed one day as a walk in. As I own a mini shorthair dach, she does not require much grooming besides nails. The staff were pleasant and agreed to trimming her nails as a walk in. They took her in immediately and the whole process only took 5 minutes at most. My mini dach has black nails and they cut her nails down to a good length without upsetting the quicks. My mini dach, Bella, has SUCH anxiety while getting her nails trimmed/being handled by groomers and vets, so I was very impressed that they handled the situation so easily. The staff gave her a complimentary pink bandana, I will bring her back here to get her nails trimmed as long as I live in the village. read more

This place is great! I found them about 7 years ago when I was delivering pizza for dominos. They were always really nice and great tippers. The drivers actually used to trample each other to get their orders. Anyway I've been taking my dogs there ever since. They always do a great job and I love the way they treat my dogs. They seem genuinely happy to see them every time we come in. I have a 115lb mastiff/pitbull who hates having his feet touched and they welcome him with open arms! Highly recommended! read more

I was referred to this place and so glad I was! I am very picky with where I take my dog because she has gotten her skin cut in the process so many times before whenever i try someone new; that, or I get charged a ton. this place charged what im used to: $50 for a shitzu poodle (15lbs) to be shaven clean and even out some hair I cut myself to clear her line of vision. They were extremely friendly and loving with my pup. read more

So I took my MALTESE/PAPILLON there maybe three times. Once for the works (bath, cut. nails, ears) once as a quick walk-in for his nails, and this last time for the works again. I'm SO torn because the woman who is at the desk is SUPER nice, BUT this last time my dog had knicks all over his face and belly and was literally peeing himself and refused to go outside or anywhere near the car for 2 days (he LOOOVES car rides) and vomiting. Obviously I took him to the vet and she told me he was TRAUMATIZED (hence the peeing all over himself and fear of the car). So yeah, nice people it seems, but not sure what happens behind that door . read more

Don't let the name of this place fool you. They don't just DO doggies. They do cats too... + WAY cheaper than any other place I've found that treats the animals really well + they come out with a nice do. My lil kitty always comes out of this place looking fancy + for only $50. It is a steal. The staff is super nice and pretty flexible with pick up + drop off times. If you don't want to pay one month's salary to have less hair on your pet, this is your kind of place. read more

Robin is the best. She loves the dogs and is patient with them. The wall of her "customers" behind the cash register shows hers and their loyalty. This place may not look like much (the cages freaked me out a little when I first went in), but knowing that my babies are being taken care of and treated well is really the most important thing. It's completely obvious that she cares about the animals. My 4 year old is a love, and very easy-going, but my 2 year old is not the easiest to groom. He hates it, he weighs 100lbs and he fights her every step of the way, but she still says "he's getting better" and welcomes us back every time. The rest of the staff are kids really, Some are friendly, some not so much but Robin is always there and I know things are being done right with her guidance. We have been taking our dogs here for almost 4 years now. After trying the grooming at the chain stores (Petco, Petsmart), and a few other "fancy" dog salons that I won't mention, I'll take this small, simple, not-so-fancy groomer in Pawtuxet Village any day. They come out happy, shiny, smelling fantastic, and always have the cutest seasonal bandanas around their necks. I always can't wait to pick them up and see how great they look!
