Went here on a whim... and am beyond grateful I did. Mina was able to see my pug the same day I called, and was super friendly and kind when I was booking my appointment. In all the years that I've had my pug, she's never been this soft after leaving the groomer! Mina made me feel so comfortable leaving my pup with her and did such a great job with her nails and ears too. When I picked up my dog she had a cute bow attached to her collar. We will be returning to Mina anytime my dog needs a wash. read more

I've been bringing my 6 year old schnauzer here since her very 1st groom. I don't trust anyone else with my baby except for Mina. She ALWAYS gives an excellent groom & clearly loves what she does. My dog loves her. She is kind, friendly & has even made special acceptations for my scheduling going above & beyond. I don't have her do a typical schnauzer cut since I prefer a different kind of cut. Just tell her what kind of cut you would like or bring a picture. Previous to my 1 dog now, I had 5 senior dogs that are now in doggie heaven. 4 Shih Tzus & a schnauzer mix all at once. They were always pampered here & always looked adorable! The owner CLEARLY cares about her dogs and all of the other dogs that come into her salon. She is extremely sweet and reassures all nervous owners and their pets about her services. My dog went in as a shaggy dog and came out as a super clean one with short fur, cut nails, and a happy spirit. The owner even had the kindness to wash his collar for me and she even put a cute blue bandanna around his neck. When I told her about the bad experience that we had at "Puppy Love" a few days ago, she almost cried! I had originally wrote a great review about this place. However, the last time I took my pomeranian she got hurt. Let me explain. When I went to pick up my doggy she charged me $5 less than usual. I thought "oh that's cool. Maybe she's giving me a discount for being a regular customer." WRONG! I came home and my doggy's paw was cut :(! She had hurt my little baby! When I tried calling she didn't even pick up! I took my dog to the vet. They gave me some ointment and she wore a cone for a whole week. She's better now! :) BEWARE of this grooming place! I have been coming here for more than 6 years. Not once did I have a problem with my tea cup pom's grooming or care. Mina goes above and beyond to ensure the dogs are safe, taken care of and loved. For about 3 years my dog had anxiety and after her tender loving care throughout the years he feels secure and safe with Mina. The only reason why she would give discounts or stay overtime to take care of anyone's dog is out of the kindness of her heart. It's sad to see poor reviews taking advantage of her kindness. Still... With the bad reviews she stays true and kind to everyone. It took me more than 6 years to write this review due to observation, first hand experience and going through so many groomers Mina is the best at what she does anyone would be foolish to say otherwise, especially knowing she treats these dogs as if they were her own. Sometimes I see that she is willing to stay overtime to stay with the dogs till their owners come. Again, she does this because she wouldn't want the last dog in her shop to be alone and by doing so, she re-arranges for her own kids to be picked up from school late as well. If that's not going above and beyond I have no idea what is... Positives: 1. Kind and Goes above and beyond 2. No unnecessary extra charges or taxes 3. Keeps a dog friendly environment 4. Will contact you if there is anything unusual or wrong with your dog's behavior 5. Great grooming (You need to tell her what you want done or better yet show a picture) I say this because there is one time I didn't communicate clearly about what I wanted done and I realized it was my fault for not telling/showing her what I needed (just like if you were to walk into a salon) make your wants clear for the results you expect. 6. I see sanitized cleaned towels every time I come to pick up my dog at the end of the day not once have I seen a dirty towel anywhere. 7. The room temperature is always controlled so it's never stuffy or hot Negatives: 1. There was no toilet paper when I used the bathroom once. 2. No Pittbulls or aggressive dogs are allowed (This I understand because kids come in and out of this shop and there are tons of toy/medium dogs) 3. Not open on Sundays Overall, since I work as a Chief Administrator for healthcare facilities and comply with safety and health inspections I can tell you this is service money can't buy. read more

My dog was scheduled at 9:30am I arrived at 9:35, at 12:30 I got a little worried cause after 3 hours I had still not received a call from them informing me that my dog was ready so I decided to call them. They said she was not ready whatsoever not even a bath, because they were sooo busy and that MAYBE by 1:30 she'd be ready (so basically my dog was locked up for 3 hours) so I said if you haven't started grooming her at all then don't even start, I will pick her up in 5 minutes and they said oh okay whatever you want. I arrive there and see that they are in the process of grooming her after I had already said not to and they still had the nerve to charge me $45, and if that wasn't paid for I had to leave my dog there with them. AS IF I WOULD EVER ALLOW MY DOG TO STAY THERE EVER AGAIN!!! Terrible!!! read more

I'm a long time customer and feel very comfortable leaving my dog with the owner of this shop. Recently grooming cost increased a little, but that don't bother me from going here. Got a little cut, but that's ok. Cuz my baby move a lot during his grooming and cut wasn't that deep. Totally worth it and owner is always nice, kind, polite to customers on my point of view. I took my maltese here AND I'M NEVER EVER EVER TAKING HIM THERE AGAIN! She sounded sweet over the phone so I took him to get him groomed. I dropped him off and when I went back to pick him up I almost didnt recognize him. She cut him so short (when I asked her to give him a trim) and his belly was all cut up. Not only was his belly cut up, but his private parts were cut too. When I asked her why it looked like that, she pretended that she didn't even notice and told me that that usually happens.. How the hell are u trying to convince me that "that usually happens"??!?!?! My poor baby was depressed and hurt for 3 weeks!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM!!!!!! This place is not your typical fancy groomer. They're located in Fullerton and have a small space. But they are so AMAZING & good with my dog! The owner is so polite and knows her dogs. Finally a go-to groomer! I've been meaning to find a good groomer for my maltipoo for a while now. I live in the OC, but have been going to one in LA and it's always a while drive, so I wanted to find the perfect one in OC. My friend introduced me to Doggie Paradise and I decided to give this place a try. The groomer was was so so kind! I fell in love with the place after seeing how she treats the pets. This lady is awesome!!! She has a strong accent and struggles sometimes with English but can always answer any question I have with ease. I took my dog Princess here and thought she did a great job and when I came back months later she remembered my dog and her name after only one visit!!! I have been coming here for years. The woman who grooms my dogs is great! I have a maltipoo and mini poodle and she cuts their hair very nicely. Doesn't charge a whole lot, it's a few bucks cheaper then petsmart (depending on the size of your dog). And another reason why I love coming here because I'd rather support a small business than a huge corporation! Support your small businesses! Anyways, whenever I come, I like to bring a picture of what I would like my dogs to look like and she makes them look just the way I ask.
