Joy went far and beyond in providing detail service for my English Bulldog. I've been looking for a new groomer to take care of my dog and I finally found it! Not just provided a really good price but also provided 5 STAR SERVICE ! Came in as a walk in now it will be my place to go to ! My puppy smells so good and he's very happy as well!

LOVE THIS GROOMER! She is so cute and sweet and talented with the maltipoo breed! I own a crusty white little dog and this place always cleans her up well. I normally pay around $100 but I feel like anywhere I go I pay around that price in this economy so I might as well help this local business where I know my dog is treated like a princess. After ever appointment I always just see my dog chillin, watching Korean TV as the owners clean with adorable bows in her hair. Other places my dog is usually shaking, anxious, and shaved too close to the skin.

I've been taking my cat KD here for a couple months and the owners are absolutely lovely to him! He always comes back home fresh and relaxed, and they send me the cutest pictures of him while he's getting groomed. Could not recommend this place more!

I really appreciate this as my pup is on the scared side. Below is a picture of her. I really like the bows. The bows complete a great job done by the owner.

this lady doesnt do her job right and she charged me $110 dollars to take my 5 month siberian husky she said she would charge more and that she would not take the dog anymore because it was too big but she seems too take other dogs that are twice ma dogs size. and she charges less :(

Happy Pet Grooming is by far the best grooming spot in OC that hasn't let me down for over a year now! I have 4 fur babies but my Pomeranian needs that cute teddy bear cut and Happy Pet Grooming delivers every time! I've taken Nuggie my Pom to two previous groomers and I would usually get him back with skin cuts. Another groomer will give him the cut but will not cut his tail and leave it the way it came in. At Happy Pet Grooming I get text messages/updates on Nuggie and they don't cut his skin! Thank you for taking care of Nuggie!

Adopted this little guy 3 weeks ago. He needed his nails clipped and he wouldn't let me do it. It was very obvious there wasn't a lot of grooming before. He is very clingy so I was worried about him freaking out. They were lovely here. They were friendly, if not fancy and they got the job done! It cost a bit more than I would have liked but it was so worth it. No more licking his paws like crazy and no more scooting on my rug.

The service here was amazing! It was hard to find grooming places that accept cats, and since my cat is indoors only, I haven't gotten his rabies vaccine in a few years, and they accepted him! I told her exactly what I wanted (just a trim to de shed, no lion cut) and he ended up looking great! I got him a bath and a haircut, and it came out to $130. Would 100% recommend read more

BUYER BEWARE My cat has had some bad matting due to his long hair. I called this place to see if they could handle it. On the phone I asked how much it would cost and she said "I'll have to see the pet first" (seems like she does this everytime as I heard her say it to another customer). I was annoyed but w/e I needed it taken care of. I arrive and she asks me to take my cat to the back. That's fine I don't mind making him comfortable at first. But then she asks me to hold him THE WHOLE TIME. She made me sit there the entire appointment and hold him. Why am I paying for a service and doing half the work?? She DID not mention a price before she got to work and to my surprise she charged me 120 dollars?!? No nail trim, no bath, only a haircut that took 45 minutes. ABSOLUTE rip off. Not only did they hide the price they also made me do HALF THE WORK. I could not recommend this place less if you care about you furry friend read more

My pup had a haircut that needed to be corrected. I took my golden retriever here and she fixed her up beautifully. The owner took good care of my dog and did not cage her up. Last week I took my Australian Labradoodle to Happy Pet Grooming for a bath and asked that they clean up her face a little. When we picked her up, she had no beard and they shaved her nose too close and it was skinned and bleeding just a little. I would never go back to this business again. My dog is the most gentle and easy creature. She is a registered Therapy Dog and is most attentive to people. Should have been a no-brainer. I regard this as cruelty to animals. read more

Happy Pet Grooming is by far the best grooming spot in OC that hasn't let me down for over a year now! I have 4 fur babies but my Pomeranian needs that cute teddy bear cut and Happy Pet Grooming delivers every time! I've taken Nuggie my Pom to two previous groomers and I would usually get him back with skin cuts. Another groomer will give him the cut but will not cut his tail and leave it the way it came in. I don't know where to begin. Staff, old Korean couple. About late 60's. I made an appt yesterday and was able to get next day appt. I gave her my info as number and what type of breed and weight. He was about 50 pounds. I handed her the leash and she told me to go inside and take him to the back. Like why???? Then asked me to put him in the bath tub. Like why?!??? Why am I doing all this work for??? Then quoted me $100. Like what!?!??? I got a bath before and it was $40 and a lot more professional place. This place was like a sweat shop for dogs and beaten down. Then they kept asking me to stand there. Like WTF!? Lady, I got things to do and places to go, I shouldn't have to be there to hold my dog down when I'm paying YOU. I came back hours later. She didn't quote me a time. So I wasn't going to let her ruin my day of errands and I'll come when I can. Walked in, my dog was clean. I cannot complain about the work that was done. I handed her my card and she said "no card, machine broken. Only cash. You have cash? If not zelle or Vemno". UHHHH HOW COME YOU DID NOT LET ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME? No one carries cash nowadays. Talk about hiding from taxes here. I was pretty annoyed about the payment transaction because let us know ahead of time. I was still nice enough to leave a tip. Get young workers who can carry the pet. Go retire! Clean up your shop. The place was a hot mess and messier than my 9 year old boy room. DO NOT RECOMMEND. GO ELSEWHERE. OVERPRICED. read more

She took she first thing the next morning, unfortunately I woke up late and it was an hour past and she still took her as soon as I got there! This place is awesome! I came on a Monday. It was hard to book an appointment elsewhere so I called here to see if they could at least trim my babies nails. She told me she could take both my dogs right away. Yay! I brought them in around 3:30pm and got a call at 7:30pm to pick them up and they were fresh and clean. She also sent me pics of them after We discussed the length and shape of the ears etc and everything is perfect. She cut their nails a lot shorter than other places I've been to, my shitzu has some black nails and she did great with those as well. My dogs hate baths and grooming and she was great with their temperaments, she seems to truly love dogs and her work. It was $110 for both my dogs for bath, haircut, teeth nails etc. the works basically (cash only) read more

My regular dog groomers (Taj Mapaw Spa) was closed and took appointments only so I decided to give this place a try. The lady was very nice and did a great job. Took about two hours. Needed no appointment; I just called ahead to see if they could take my dog right away. Price: $55 dollars for bath/brush, nails, ear cleaning, anal glad expression, and trimming around the private parts and tummy for my 50 pound husky-Shepard mix. Not bad. The only negative thing is that they are cash only (lady said it's because they just opened so they don't have a card reader yet) and she didn't tell me until after my dog was done and ready to be picked up. I stayed at a nearby Starbucks while my dog was getting groomed and wasn't coming from home, so I had to drive back home, get cash, and then come all the way back to the groomers. read more

Do not go to this place! My dog came home with ticks! Never had ticks before this place. When I replied the next day they just denied. Didn't offer to do another bath or anything to help the situation. Just denied it. But I can even see a tick in the photos that they texted me. Now I have to take her to get a flea and tick bath and have them removed, on top of their groomer fee of $75. read more

They didn't really ask the name of my dog, or asked what I came in for. They just asked to take my dog in the back and then asked what I was here for. the staff were friendly but each staff had different definitions when it came to full grooming, the person who was the actual groomer clarified so that helped. I did warn her my dog had skin tags all over the body and to be very careful when you do the cut. I also mentioned he is a very nervous boy so to mindful of that. They finished in two hours as promised. I came to pick him up and they told me they nicked one of the skin tags on his arm but took care of it right away, grateful for the honesty. It was interesting, the staff was speaking to me as if I was a returning customer and told me my dog did better this time around. I think they got me confused with a different customer as I never been there before. A few hours later I noticed on the top of my dogs back, where there is quite a few skin tags, a few spots were bleeding! I know it's hard to cut around the skin tags but almost every big bump he has was bleeding so it was a little frustrating to take care of it. I don't think I'll be coming back but I appreciated the service.

Although our dogs coat is most likely permanently damaged from the first experience we had MVP grooming changed our views on grooming. As you can see from our text conversation, I asked whether paw pad trimming was included, explained that the last few grooms had been inconsistent, and pointed out the uneven cuts. The response I received was, "We'll do our best to make it right next time." You also mentioned that my last visit was over a month ago. I'm not sure why that's relevant. Three of my dogs are seniors, and I keep them brushed and maintained between grooming appointments. They don't need to be groomed every month. My fourth dog is a pit bull who receives a deshedding treatment, and she doesn't require monthly appointments either. I would never overgroom my dogs, especially my seniors, because frequent bathing and grooming can strip their natural oils. I also stand by what I experienced regarding the bather. I immediately asked you, "Did he just complain?" after hearing him complain when he realized he had my dogs. You responded, "Yeah man, that's what he gets paid to do." That interaction only reinforced my decision. My review reflects my experience after bringing my dogs to your business for about a year. I reached out privately first because I genuinely hoped my concerns would be taken seriously. Unfortunately, they weren't, which is why I updated my review. I also recently realized their paw pads weren't fully trimmed, even though I was later told that paw pad trimming is included with haircuts. I reached out privately before updating my review because I wanted to give them the opportunity to address my concerns. The response I received was simply, "We'll do our best to make it right next time." After multiple inconsistent grooms, that response didn't give me much confidence. Another thing that really bothered me was overhearing one of the bathers complain when he realized he had my dogs to work on. As a customer, that's not something you want to hear when you're trusting people to care for your pets. Based on my recent experiences and the response I received, I've decided to find another groomer. It's incredibly hard to find groomers you can trust because they often start out doing a great job, but over time the quality changes. Because of this, I haven't been able to take her to a traditional groomer. I happened to see their mobile truck while on a walk and asked about pricing for my reactive shepherd. Ricardo was very understanding, gave me a reasonable quote, and was even able to fit us in right after his first appointment. From the start, he was calm, patient, and gentle. He let me stay nearby to help Juno feel more comfortable, which I really appreciated. She was timid at first, but he took his time earning her trust and worked at her pace. When it came to the dryer, he introduced it carefully and explained that he didn't want to push her too far or undo the trust he had built even if that meant she wouldn't be fully dry. That meant a lot to me. It's clear that Ricardo has experience with dogs like Juno and truly understands the patience and care they need. Both Ricardo and Paco were communicative, kind, and made sure Juno's first mobile grooming experience was as stress-free as possible. Since this was a new groomer, I was a little worried about my fur baby, but as soon as we walked in and were greeted, my guy went right in without any issues. I explained that he did not like the hair dryer and was told that would not a problem, but it may take about 3 hours sicne they can not use the dryer. It's a good deal about $25 I don't get her hair trimmed or anything so I have no experience in that part. They did mention it was going to be two hours and they would call me back. I got a call back in an hour in a half. I'm pretty sure that depends on the amount of pets they are grooming. We've gotten her name engraved with our phone number in her colar and it was inexpensive as well. The doggy clothes is really cute, good quality. Brought Copper in for his first haircut and I was very happy with the service and how he looks! He looks like a new dog! Everyone was very nice and helpful. I'm glad they were able to get him in last minute on a Saturday. They gave him a cute little scarf once he was done and sent me pictures of him while he was there. Will be returning! read more
