I been here twice and will never return. The first time they did a good job and I'm not going to lie the prices are good but it's not worth it to me because 1. They don't listen as to how you want your dog groomed and insist on grooming the dog their way 2. At times they take a long time due to short staff 3. They don't use common sense 4. Plus what struck me strange was on my first visit. I never ever had a groomer not ask me for my vaccination paper and these people did not ask me for it even after taking my dog and filling out my papers. I brought that to the guys attention and he asked well is he vaccinated and I said yes so he obviously just went by what I said but didn't confirm by checking any vaccination records. , It kinda got me worried that had I not asked him if they check he wouldn't have asked me that which leads me to believe it may not be a safe environment for my little dog. Shannon, she groomed my dog twice, she does a decent job but kinda come off as attitudy at times. Anyways the first time my dog was groomed they did a decent job but they left extra hair on the tip of his tail which I really hate. I don't like that look at all. I've taken him to several groomers and his tail never looked like that plus I don't like it at all, it looks weird. The 2nd time I brought him there the groomer wasn't there, she was late even though I was on time for the appointment but whatever. I told the guy what I wanted and told him I really need to have them trim the hair on the tail this time because I really didn't like the way it looked the first time I brought him there so I had to end up trimming it myself. Mind you I'm not groomer so you could imagine what it looked like lol, it wasn't that bad though, I did a good job but anyways guess what? They groomed the tail exactly the same way, not sure if he forgot to tell shannon or shannon just wants to do things her way. I read in other reviews here that you tell them to groom the dog a certain way and they end up doing it there way because they think it looks better but we are the owners, you should do i the way we want plus we are paying you. I also asked for the face to be short as possible but still keep the shape, I asked for this because I was moving and needed to save money plus the weather has been super hot and knew It would be awhile before I could get him groomed again but they left his face not too much different, they gave it a trim but not as short as I wanted too especially since the body hair was groomed short. Another thing and this really pissed me off. My dog had skin issues the 2nd time around not because of them but some other reason, the vet said allergies so I told the guy to please use the medicated shampoo the vet gave me, Not sure if they really used it but most of it was gone which is ok BUT what pissed me off is that they end up spraying a lot of perfume on him apparently as part of the grooming without even saying they were going to do that, no where on the paper does it warn you that they are going to spray that nasty strong perfume on him and why would you do that anyway knowing my dog has a skin issue? That is just plain stupid so needless to say I had to remove some of that nasty stuff from his fur as best as possible and he was itching really bad the next day so again that pissed me off. I even asked him before they worked on him what do you guys do for grooming and he never mentioned the perfume part. I think they should be more organized and have a list of their services so that way customers can check what exactly they want done to their dog, I saw some paper he showed me after I asked to see if they use such a thing, its like why not show it to customers, that's stupid to just take a dog without first discussing what is going to be done to him exactly plus I wanted some form showing that he was dropped off, i dont leave my dog anywhere without having some documentation showing something as proof so anyways she showed me the paper and no where did it read they were going to spray perfume, I picked him up and he never gave me the paper that showed what was done, i had to ask him for it, not good. Common sense people if the dog has a skin allergy problem and we actually give you medicated shampoo to use then don't spray perfume on him. wow I bathed him a few weeks before with the same shampoo and he didn't itch afterwards so I know it's not the shampoo since its medicated but the fact they used that nasty perfume which btw gave me headache because of that awful smell. long story short : 1. they don't listen to you on how you want your dog groomed and they take a long time because they don't have enough groomers. 2. that guy acts like he's nice and friendly but you can see the attitude in him low key basically the atmosphere or aura of that place is awkward. I'm in a different city now so will try a different place especially since I tip $10 each time I get my dog groomed so that's a decent tip I read more

So I read through the reviews to make sure I was bringing my mom's dog to a legit place and the reviews were pretty good That doesn't mean that this place is always going to hit 100% I brought my moms dog at 10am which was her scheduled appointment, I was not able to pick up the dog until 4pm Really 6 hours for a dog that weighed under 20lbs for a haircut? So most of that time the dog had to of been waiting in the cage when there was no need for such a long wait The place also does not like to give you a real time frame 'eta' as to when the dog will be ready Haircut was good but service wasn't the best, I had also made multiple phone calls throughout the 6 hours checking to see when she'd be ready Won't return read more

I have been taking my dog here for the past two years and everything was perfect in the beginning. Their grooming skills are great the dogs look very clean and and smell great afterwards. I really felt like I had found the perfect groomers. The last couple of times I went things had changed drastically. They hiked the prices up and have hired very unprofessional looking people. That wouldn't have been that bad, but it didn't stop there. Each of the last times I brought my dog in at 8 a.m. And he wasn't ready till 3 p.m. They keep them in very small cages and without water so by the time he gets home he runs to urinate and drinks two bowls of water. He absolutely hates going there which was very unusual for him, with every other groomer he was just fine. So even though they do a good job with the baths, I definitely won't be taking my dog there again. read more

It gets me upset that some people don't use common sense when writing reviews!.....If the grooming job was good, why are you upset because your pet was in a cage!? This isn't a doggie day care, therefore, you have to understand that there's isn't 1 groomer per pet. Look at the whole picture! The staff is courteous, loving to your pet and the prices are extremely reasonable for everything they do. Next time you take your pet to this groomer, notice how they act. It's amazing that every time I take my babies Zeus & Tico, they are happy when they arrive AND when I pick them up! I took my two Yorkies here a few months ago, and everything went well. The girls where very nice and my dogs where ready in about 2 hrs. I couldn't be happier and I thought I had finally found a great pet groomer. Well today my boyfriend took the dogs and also my mothers dog, another small dog. He dropped off the dogs at 11am even left work a bit early to make it to this appointment. It is now 5:30 and the dogs are still not ready!!!! I am very disappointed!! I've been coming here for a few years and I felt it was time to show them some yelp love. They are seriously so great! Their prices are beyond reasonable, all the staff is friendly, and they do an impeccable job on my 20 lb poodle mix everytime. I've recently moved about 30 minutes away and tried another groomer much closer but after being charged $75 dollars for a shave ( hes not getting a complicated specific breed cut), I'm happily running back to this place. I recommend them to anyone who owns a dog. The best pet groomer I have had in awhile, my dogs were matted and hair unkept and long. The groomer cleaned them up, I did not recognize our babies when we picked them up. I love this place. My father has been taking his two shih tzus here for the past two years. They are always very kind to his dogs and do a wonderful job grooming and cutting their hair. I was so impressed with their service, that I have been taking my chocolate lab just so she can feel pampered and spoiled. I got my cat groomed here this summer because his fur gets long and matted. It only took a couple of hours before they called me and he was ready to go! He smelled and looked great, and they said he behaved very well, which was good to hear! I will definitely be coming back next summer and the summer after that. I brought my dog for his 1st groom and after speaking on the phone with the gal in charge, she assured me that they would be gentle and take care of him. When picking him up, I was told he did good, all went well. After taking him home, a couple of hours, I noticed my dog in a corner without moving. I checked him and noticed that his doggie parts were totally bruised with purple, blues, reds and super swollen! I called and spoke with the same gal at this place and she denied that it was the groomers fault and that my dog was probably super sensitive! Wow, they did not take any responsibility whatsoever. I'm putting this from my mother experience. The owner would not cut my dogs hair because she claimed that he was trying to bite her. My dog is the sweetest dog ever and he would never or has ever bitten anyone who has cut his hair before. And even if he did, I saw her working on another dog (which looked way bigger than mine) that was trying to bite her face and she still continue the service but refused ours. And on top of that it took her almost all day to do practically nothing and they called my mother to pick him up. She only gave him a bath supposably but he smelled like fish. I don't know what kind of bath they gave him but he smelled worst than he did before. And for her being the owner she was very rude to us and told us not to never come back...as if we want too! read more

After a few incidents and injuries with petsmart grooming i heard about this place & decided to give it a try. I am seriously so thankful that they have the patience to groom my dog after him being traumatized at petsmart. He isnt the easiest to groom but they still work with him. And they do a great job!!! They seem to really care for my dog and they are always super nice & friendly. He is slowly becoming easier and less anxious when taken to the groomers! Price is great! I called a few other places in the area and their prices were all 20$+ more than Doggie Styles. They do take a long time sometimes (more on weekend) but it is well worth it. We took our Husky to Doggie Styles in Glendora this morning to have him groomed, we were informed over the phone that they wanted to get out of there early today. We told them that he may try to grab them with his mouth but he is not mean, he's never been aggressive. We asked if they wanted to muzzle him, they said "oh no they know all about huskies". Our dog walked to the cage without any trouble. So, we waited around most of our Saturday for him to be done but 4 hours after we left him there we got a call from them stating they won't bathe him because he's too aggressive. He's been groomed on a regular basis his whole life, he just turned 2. Nobody else ever complained about him being aggressive. Maybe being put in a cage for 4 hours listening to all of the little yapping dogs scared him. Why did he stay in the cage for so long? He was so thirsty and had to relieve himself pretty bad by the time we were called. Very disappointed in their service, that's what we get for trying to save a buck, lesson learned. read more

Arrived at my puppie's sunday morning appointment to get a bath and be groomed. I was told that I was going to get a call when he was ready to be picked up, but five hours later still no call. I decided to go see what was taking so long, I was told he was still not ready and that there were 6 dogs ahead of him. Decided to just take him home. Will take him somewhere else to get groomed. I have been here with my dog several times. In the beginning it was ok. Today I had an appointment that I called for a couple of days before. Dropped my dog off at 8am. I could here one other dog in the back room but the way she talked it sounded like it was her personal dog. Otherwise there were no other dogs there.
