Our cats can fend for themselves while we are away. They have plenty of dry food put out for them, multiple water dishes and one very large kitty box for each cat. However, when we are gone over night or longer, they do so much better when a cat sitter comes by to give them attention and comfort. They are in such a better mood when we return home. Not so clingy. More like when we have been away for a few hours instead of a few days. The care that they receive from Doggy's Big Day sitters is outstanding. We enjoy our vacations more knowing that the cats are being looked after. The cats like not feeling abandoned. Every one of the various sitters that we have had from this company has been outstanding. Well worth a 5 star rating. My Rex is a border collie (primary breed)/aussie. He's an older pup, still under a year. Generally well behaved, but needed some outdoor activity since it's cold and with smaller kids it's harder to get him out as much. I saw their car and looked into reviews before contacting them. Linda came by to meet Rex a couple days later and they really hit it off. It turns out a neighbor dog we know is a doggy's big day participant and went th same day. Rex had a GREAT time. I was a little nervous just because I've never sent him with anyone else before. I loved the pictures she sent me of him because they were just totally him in his element. Forest Call from Doggy's Big Day is fabulous. Tobi has been going on group hikes twice a week for the last year or so. My vacation this Spring was too Hawaii and I wasn't able to take him along for safety concerns. I decided that Tobi deserved his own Spring Break as well. He spent 10 days with Forest and had a blast (daily hikes, ball play, great adventures and 24X7 company with Forest and his family)! I could tell from the daily pictures he was having a great time and not at all stressed. I can't recommend Doggy's Big Day more highly! I will be a customer for life. read more

Linda is awesome! She takes our two mini schnauzers on a hike every Wednesday. They always come back super happy and well behaved because they are tuckered out. She came to pick up our dogs one morning and I was home from work on lunch- she was so sweet and genuine to the dogs when she came to pick them up- without knowing I was there upstairs to hear her. Our 3 pups had a personal dog sitter who came to the house and gave them what they love the most...a person to just be around. They went on walks, and got to play in the house. It was our first time using an overnight dog sitter and it was amazing!!! We have an energetic young pup and 2 elderly pups and Jay took amazing care of them. Linda has watched my two dogs at my home and at her home as well. My dogs are always well cared for happy. My one dog is over 17 and needs a little extra care, Linda always comes through. Linda is phenomenal!! DBD hikes are our pups #1 favorite activity in the world. We have a 5 year old rescue husky mix and he can be very judgmental/ nervous about meeting new people (shocking I know), but not Linda. From day one he was in love w/ her and the DBD crew! Linda has such an amazing energy towards all the pups and they in turn have the time of their life w/ her on their hikes. If you want to have your fur babies taken care of in the most amazing way...these guys are it! I cannot begin to say enough positive things about Doggy's Big Day. We have used them twice now and both experiences have been AMAZING! We have three dogs of which two are senior so we knew we had a challenging situation when looking for someone to care for our dogs. A friend said she wouldn't use anyone else and after using these guys NEITHER WOULD WE! We had the dogsitter stay overnight both times and do an additional check in during the day because of our senior dogs. We had excellent communication from the dogsitters and great photos to keep us in the loop. The owner was also great in her follow up with both our assignment of a specific dog sitter and after the stay over was complete. We will definitely use Doggy's Big Day for all of our future trips. I LOVE Doggy's Big Day! --- Mara is so great with my little Shih Tzu, Lola. She has stayed with her a few times now -- the last was for over 5 days and nights.
