She went to see and when she came back she said two beers and said, "s$&@ I forgot". We ended up ordering water. Then we waited for around 30 or more minutes for a burger and a wrap... We asked her what was taking so long... She said, "we are full"... Which they weren't. When it finally came around the wrap was ok but the burger was inedible. My bf who eats just about anything couldn't eat more than a bite; it tasted like old meat; like rubber. The worse part it was that it was advertised as angus. We called the server for about 20 more minutes until he finally came and we told him we weren't goin to pay for that and to bring us the check. He gave us the worse attitude of the planet. Wow. This was the worst dining experience I have had in a while. Went for lunch during the week with 2 co-workers. One iPad at the booth for three people. Hmmm. One member of our party left our table to look at the menu at another table. Annoying. Just give us each one menu please. There were two tables occupied at the time. It took us 45 minutes to get our food. My steak sandwich was pretty gross. My co-workers steak sandwich was inedible. Literally. The entire thing was lined with stringy fat that she couldn't cut apart with the plastic cutlery. When the bill came, she was like no way, I'm not paying $11 for something I couldn't even eat. So he gave her a $2 discount. She again said no way, take it off the bill. He said he'd have to check with his manager. I suppose he did and he came back with it taken off the bill. No apologies. And on top of that she added gratuity on each of our checks.. not even a 15-18% but a 22!!!! we politely asked her to remove it off the check because we felt that we didn't receive that kind of service for her to be adding It and she rolled her eyes and "took it off"... once she brought back our check she didn't give us an itemized receipt instead just brought the merchant and guest copy for us to sign and we noticed she STILL had added some gratuity because the total didn't match. We ignored it and were pretty much livid at this point. Now 4 days later I check my bank account and this lady added extra gratuity I specifically told her to remove!! They went beyond expectations. Although issue happened with delivery on my prior order, they took care of me super fast. Nice place for hookah after a night of bar hopping. The service was pretty mediocre as it took a good 10 minutes for our hookah to come out. Great food and drinks but service sucks! After they quickly dropped off the food and drinks in a disposable to-go cup, no one came back to check on us, my husband's Coke sat empty for 20 minutes. This place was good. They have an Ipad in each booth and you can place your order with the kitchen without needing the help of a waiter. The burger was better then across the street at the B&B and much easier on the wallet too. I am not giving it a 4 because I went around lunch time and I didnt like the smell of a wet rag when I walked in. Just sort of turned me off. Though it had no impact on the food and the place looked very clean. They have a stage where they play live music on the weekends or have a DJ. Great location right next to the new pizza place in Brickell and next to Red Bar. The quesadilla was awesome and packed with ingredients. Came here on a Sunday night. Only 1 guy working here and there were a total of 2 customers inside playing with the iPads. We wanted to do the hookah. So we sat outside and waited for over 20 mins. How much time do you need to setup a hookah on a dead night like this? The 1 guy was also the bartender and the server so he was being spread pretty thin. We ordered drinks and we noticed he was tasting everything as he made it. Can we say rookie tender? It was ok, he made the drinks strong and he was attentive as best as he could. As the time went on, the place was busy but by that time we were just smoking the hookah so he was not needed. Overall, it is a nice place, cool ipads at each table. After way too much food at B&B, we ended up here. The place was pretty empty but the people who worked there were so nice and accommodating that it made my night. Good prices on drinks & hookah and a laid back vibe give you a nice break from the normal Mary Brickell Village atmosphere. There was no loud music when we were there so we were able to talk and catch up and fight over the iPad all night. Overall, a nice place and a good vibe from all of the staff. YUMMMM!!!!!! Excellent dogs and excellent service. This is the quintessential fourth meal spot. D-Dog has opted for ipad menus which were very cool. I loved being able to see a picture of my meal before I ordered it. The owner even came out to explain the menu and give us tips on what to order. I ordered the Mexican dog. It was smothered in fresh hass avocado guacamole and pico de gallo. I hope this new business survives because it was absolutely delicious and it is so difficult to find great service in Miami. We went to eat there on a Saturday night at 9:30pm and the place was completely dead. The concept of the restaurant is cool with ipads as the menu and the tables lit up. Considering we were the only ones in there the service was good. But I'm giving this restaurant a 5 because my Hawaiian chicken sandwich was amazing!! I really wanted to like this place, especially after reading the other reviews, but from my experience it was just average. We ordered for delivery and it was punctual, so that was great. The loaded fries where cold though. Probably not a good choice, considering it was delivery. The chips on the Colombian hot dog were soggy. The sauces did taste amazing though. We also ordered a chicken, bacon, ranch with avocado sandwich. It tasted alright, even though I was actually expecting a chicken breast and not chicken chunks. I had been living above this place for months before I even came in. It's such a cool relaxed atmosphere that it makes you want to come back. The food is good because they let you customize the meal with the iPad ordering system in each table. The grilled wings are on point and even better aRe the tequeños. I'm secretly addicted to those. I live less than a 3 minute walk away from this bar and Brickell and it is definitely my speed. The food is pretty good and especially being open till 5am it's really the best option with those hours. The bar staff are the light of this restaurant AKA Douglas ! Ordered take out and it took over an hour to deliver. Once the food got here, the delivery man handed me the 2 bags in a rush...I turned around to put the bags on the counter and came back to the door and the delivery man was long gone before I could pay him. We live in a condo and I yelled to see if he was still there (it was only 10 seconds later) by the elevator and there was no reply. Called the restaurant to let them know what had happened but no one spoke any English. They then decided to call me at 1:30 AM to talk to me BUT AGAIN no one spoke English!!! They hung up on me twice and by 1:45 AM they were knocking at my door! Upset that the doorman let him in this late at night....again the delivery man spoke NO ENGLISH! He stood at the door as I tried to tell him he ran away before I could pay him but he could not understand me. He kept telling me to hold on as he kept looking at his phone. Impromptu hunger visit after work on a soggy wednesday night! Best part of my day! looks like a lil hole in the wall under a condo complex in the popular mary brickell village. First thing that caught my eye were hookahs outside. Once you step in, your emerged in a club like setting and escorted to a retro neon colored table with changes color. I went here yesterday with my boyfriend and used their Groupon $10 for $20 deal. The waiter was friendly but the option on the menu to call the him seemed a bit laggy as our waiter was busy on a phone call when we tried calling him with it twice. I ordered some sort of santa fe salad which had your typical corn, beans, tomatoes, tortilla chips, cheese and this spicy peanut dressing (which intrigued me into getting it). What I got was a salad with tortilla chips, tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette (that's it). After a bite I realized this is not what I ordered. I then called the waiter over to tell him my food was incorrect. He then asked me, "can you tell me what the difference is?". After explaining to him that my salad did not have the correct dressing, corn, beans, and cheese in it he said, "we ran out of the dressing for the salad you ordered, is there anything else I can get you". I'm going to be honest, this upset me. Not only did he know he served me something they did not have with out telling me. He made me explain the difference between the two salads when he knew they were COMPLETELY different dishes. I just really dislike being taken for stupid. How can you knowingly serve someone something that they did not order, and then when they complain about it, make them tell you what the differences are? I gave them two stars because although my boyfriend wasn't a great fan of the hotdog he had. I tried a bit of it and thought it was tasty. I think this place has potential and I do like the Ipad menu idea, but I think the execution is poor. I unfortunately will most likely never return to this location. read more
