We adopted/rescued our boy, Arlo, during the pandemic and we feel like the luckiest parents in the world to have found such a beautiful pup! We adore him more than words can express and so naturally we wanted to find someone we trusted to take care of him as we returned to work. Michelle is seriously the BEST you can hope for in dog care. She truly cares and goes above and beyond for the dogs. My dog Della and I are attached at the hip, so it's no small thing for me to leave her in someone else's hands. But I would trust Michelle 100% to take care of my dog any time. I've been dealing with chronic pain and so I haven't been able to walk Della myself as much as she needs. Michelle was a life-saver, coming through to help not only with that but also offering more help when I was moving and when my cat died, which she was not at all under any obligation to do so. That was super sweet and I was really touched. She also does a lot for local rescues, shelters, and other causes, so she's just a really valuable person to have in the community. She's also phenomenal when it comes to figuring out dogs' needs and working with them on behavioral issues. Della's a bully breed and a rescue dog with a mystery past. So even though she's super sweet and loving, she's not always attentive and she can sometimes be a bit much for people to handle. But Michelle was totally unfazed from the second she met Della. She tuned into her personality right away and I felt completely assured that my pup was in good hands. I LOVE seeing the pics and videos of Della out on pack hikes, having so much fun but also being completely under Michelle's control. My two pups Bo and Lina love Michelle. Whenever I had to go on vacation in the past, I would dread having to figure out what to do with my dogs. It was hard to trust that someone else could take care of them the same way that I could. Upon first meeting Michelle, she was very warm and open; Zoey (my corgi) had instantly warmed up to her immediately! Zoey couldn't wait to explore Michelle's place and check out the play area. Michelle informed me of the activities she would do, and graciously checked if Zoey had any allergies or if any medications were to be administered. She had also offered a bathing package, which included a bath, blowdry/towel dry, combing of all the excess fur, nail clippings, quick trim of paw fur and ear hair. I sure am glad I chose the bathing package because she did a great job and Zoey smelled GREAT when I picked her up. While I was away, Michelle had sent me pics of Zoey on hikes, walks to the dog park, and playing with new friends! I loved how she would send me a daily pic of Zoey and how she was doing. My first review :) I was going away on a 10 day trip and didn't want to leave my precious Frenchie in some random doggie day care where he might not get any personal attention and get trapped inside all day...(you never know about these things!) Anyhow, I found Michelle through yelp and after meeting her she was phenomenal!!! Let me tell you...she knows dogs...so she has two doggies of her own (chihuahua and a pit...and the chihuahua is the alpha one..). I was impressed immediately with the first meeting of my frenchie and her chihuahua..we first take a walk up and down the street so the dogs aren't focused on each other...and then she gets them to walk side by side....after that Rocky is allowed in the house :) Throughout the trip, as many others have mentioned, I get updates every day with pictures and Rocky's daily idosyncrasies and she also reports back about his daily training!
