Came here with a girl friend at 6PM on a Monday. Patio was full, with dogs too! But inside was only 30% full. Waiter was super friendly and patient as we spent the first 30minutes just chatting and not ordering. Place wasn't too loud so easy to have a conversation here. Bathrooms are gender specific hallways with stalls But they all (men and woman) use communal sinks to wash hands. And you have to climb down a flight of stairs to get to. Sandwich of the day was pulled pork something. Friend got the Vegan Spinach + Artichoke Grilled Cheese. Loved it. I got the Cornmeal Crusted Fish N' Chips. I really liked how the fish did not taste greasy and the batter was really unique. Fries were meh, I know they are house-made but they mostly looked like little bits. mushy peas were much better than expected. 9/10. But next time I would try something else. I really love the idea of a new burger weekly. I also heard that all their bread/buns are made fresh from the bakery next door! Too bad it wasn't open Mondays/today. Overall I had a great time and enjoyed the food.

Just an update to my review as it's the second time I have visited... First of all, Riverdale is dreamy. I love this area. Today I had the beet salad with blackened chicken it was SO GOOD. When I return, this shall be my order. Thank you to Dog Patch for a great team lunch!

From the owners of the Littlebrick, the Dogpatch is a bistro restaurant located in the beautiful neighborhood of Riverdale. The ambiance is beautiful with rustic wood as well as modern touches of metal. The restaurant has a variety of innovative drinks. The food menu uses a lot of bread from the bakery next door. I had the Gardener's Tartine which was pretty good. The bread was delicious and the fries were perfectly seasoned. The vegetables were slightly under seasoned but nothing extreme. The prices are reasonable. The only issue is that the menu doesn't have prices clear. The service was good and prompt. Definitely a place to visit and check out.

A super unique place in the heart of Riverdale. This place has a really nice atmosphere and a beautiful patio. We were lucky to get a table on a beautiful summer day and we were very excited to see that they had a great selection of vegan and vegetarian choices. We also got a flight of beer which was delicious. This is a perfect place for vegetarian's and meat eaters to hang out I was also happy to see that they had many local beers on the menu. We took a peek at the brunch menu and it looks delicious -we can't wait to try that out soon. There is street parking in the neighbourhood and the patio is wheelchair accessible. (although the bathrooms are located downstairs)

As one of the few places to eat actually IN the suburb of Riverdale, you can expect this place to be packed full for weekend brunch so plan to arrive early or late. They have a modest sized patio with picnic tables which can hold one larger group or two couples; there are umbrellas for shade. I tried the "Madame Lisette" which is a croque madam sandwich with pork belly in the middle - complete with amazingly crispy crackling on the edges. My partner had one of the bennies which was also delicious. A really nice brunch option was their "mimosa flight", allowing you to try about 3oz of each of their 4 mimosas: orange juice, grapefruit juice, spiced apple, and basil. The basil mimosa was our favourite by far and the apple the least - a bit too sweet. Riverdale is a bit out of the way if you don't have a reason to be there, but it's not far from downtown and if you walk from downtown, you have a way to walk off those calories! If you are in the area you can definitely do worse than to check them out.

Great service (shout out to Duncan) and very nice ambience of this place. Free street parking in front. Came here for brunch - had the eggs Bennie with Halloumi. Honestly the best hollandaise I've ever had at a restaurant. Lovely biscuit with it as well.

Wow what a great addition to Riverdale!! The food here is awesome - love that they also own the bakery next door Bread&Butter so expect FRESH. So many great options on the menu to choose from. Great local beer selection and craft cocktails (came for one ended up having 3 they were that good) Cute patio outside and great vibe inside. Highly recommend this place is here to stay!!!!

I really like this place... and my little doggy does too (they always bring him a treat). This restaurant has a dog friendly patio, which is awesome, because it is located very close to some river valley trails, so when hungry and out for a walk, it is a prime spot to go for a beverage and some food without having to take the dog home first. The Dog Patch has some great pizza; with gluten free and lactose free options available. Inside the restaurant there is a nice pub type atmosphere. The washrooms are located downstairs with unique feature of a shared wash area between the men and women's toiletry area. The service here is good; with a very friendly group of staff. I have been here a couple times, and will definitely go back again.

Cole slaw. Could have used more dressing and salt.

I have mobility issues and I was very thankful it was nice outside and we could sit on the patio as much as the hard benches were. I would not recommend this place if you have issues with stairs. A small but mighty menu mostly focusing on veg options. Which I actually like but I wouldn't bring my meatatarian husband here. Luckily I was there with my friend and not my husband and we decided to split a bunch of things. We tried the fried foccacia with hummus, the tom yum garlic scapes, the braised lentils and the dark chocolate tahini truffles. Our favourites were the hummus, thick and creamy and paired well with the fluffy foccacia. Also the dessert the tahini truffles were really unique and delicous. Everything else was fine but I probably wouldn't order it again. Server was friendly and knowledgeable.

The hardest part of dining here is trying to find parking because there is very little parking available, even if you are willing to pay for it. Once that obstacle is behind you the restaurant is a treat. We ordered two dishes to share between the two of us. Three might have been best if you don't want dessert, but we did so two dishes were fine. The first was the sweet potatoe mochi. It was quite tasty and suitable for small appetites. Next they brought out the coconut Thai red curry brisket. It was tasty and filling but the beef tasted overcooked (or old). For dessert we ordered the sticky date cake which was rich and tasty. The off menu special was the pear bread pudding with chocolate mousse. It was nice and light making it the best dessert. This was a great evening and the service was top notch. I recommend Little Wolf to anyone who wants a fine evening out.

We were there during a hockey playoff game so it was a lot of fun. My only issue with this restaurant is the lack of parking space. This is one of the main reasons we don't eat here regularly. Overall, I still give this place a 4.5/5 stars.

I jumped on the chance because I love the pizzas here. They have a soft doughy crust. So we ventured here for lunch. It wasn't too full, and it took a while for someone to notice and get us seated. We actually debated leaving, however finally they seated us, it was all good. (Hence why it looses a star). Atmosphere is pretty typical for a craft brewery. I am not a huge sports bar fan, and I was pleased to see that TVs were not a focus here. Menu is good. Lots of different things to try, but they are well known for their pizzas. Great selection of beers. Also an okay selection of cocktails and wine. I am on medication, so I tried a "near beer" can that they offered and I was pleased with the flavour. I wish they would have a non alcoholic that is more local on tap. Hubby because of driving went with a coke. We decided on two pizzas - PB & J which contained roasted pineapple, smoked bacon, fresh jalapeño, mozzarella, brick blend and the Animal Style -Ezzo pepperoni, seasoned beef, bacon, pizza sauce, crushed chilis, Grana Padano. Both came out hot and fresh and tasty. I enjoyed my toppings better, however my husband's pizza sauce was absolutely perfect. Service (once we were seated) was pleasant. We received some chocolate dipped strawberries as a customer appreciation gift and that was lovely. My goal is to try all the pizzas. Give it a go if you like Detroit style pizzas.

I started the meal with the Don Vito cocktail, a spirit forward sweet concoction of Cognac, Bourbon and Limoncello. Immediately felt like it set the perfect tone for dinner. The tasting menu started with four appetizers, the Arancini, Goat Ricotta Crostini, Insalata Siciliana and the Culatello. My favorite was the arancini as it was packed full of melty cheese with so much flavor. The culatello was a crowd favorite and the crostini was a great palate cleanser. For secondi we had the Truffle Gnudi and Paccheri. For people who like meaty flavors go with the paccheri, but I liked the light cheese and truffle of the gnudi. By the time the Pollo Al Mattone came around, I could only manage a mouthful of the succulent brick chicken and the fresh cabbage salad as I was so full and would need to be rolled out of the restaurant. We ended with the Chocolate Budino, which was dark, creamy and delicious. A great tasting menu at a great price, especially compared to Toronto prices!
