Dog daycare, or should I say "playcare" as there's plenty of play. Here is a pic of bubble time. Our Sadie loves it.

We are REALLY liking the Doggie Daycare for our 5-month old Golden Doodle (Sadie). I love their webcams and being able to check in on her throughout the day. She comes home exhausted after playing with her "furry friends" which residually lasts another day or so and gives mom and dad plus her 14 year old furr brother much needed rest. LoL The GM is very engaged. The staff are very friendly. After about a month of doing this, so far so good. We haven't done overnight boarding but will consider it when needed. THANKS Fulshear Dogtopia Team for taking good care of our Sadie!

I needed to board my two dogs, a lab and a sheep-a-doodle. I saw Pet Suites in Fulshear and asked…read moremy vet and she said she's heard good things. I stopped by for a visit and was given a nice tour. I booked a stay for my puppies and completed their paperwork. On the tour I saw the 3 different areas the pups could stay and chose the luxury room. The reason is I wanted my pups to be in one room together and since the lab hasn't been boarded in 5 yrs and the doodle, never I chose this as its quieter and has the cameras so we can peek in on them. I wanted the one with the indoor/outdoor run but is was big enough to accommodate 2 big dogs. I dropped them off and away I went. My wife checked in on them in their several times and was much at peace. Then we got pics from the pups socializing with the other pups and we felt so at peace. Pet Suites Fulshear was a great experience for us and our puppies. We will certainly us them.

Review I do not…read morerecommend boarding your dogs at this location. I purchased an individual play package and a luxury suite with a webcam for my two dogs. I paid over $800 for the whole thing. Here's what I witnessed: 1. A slip lead was left on my dog overnight. I was assured that they didn't leave harnesses, collars, or leashes on due to safety reasons. 2. An employee couldn't seem to get one of my dogs to leave her crate, so she PICKED UP THE CRATE AND TURNED IT OVER to get my dog out. 3. They put a huge water bowl in front of the crate opening so my dog had a hard time getting out of the crate and getting back in. 4. At one point, the cover was not properly on the crate and the door was mostly closed, so my dog couldn't use it. 5. I had asked that my dogs be fed separately because one dog will eat the others' food. I saw two bowls of food in the room, which showed me that my directions were not being followed. 6. There are no cameras for the individual play rooms, so I have no proof that the individual play sessions happened. 7. There were no stay notes or updates, so I was left to reach my own conclusion about what happened while they stayed at this faculty. And this was just what I saw on camera. I would have no idea what was going on if I had bought a room without a webcam. There may be people who work here who care about dogs, but they are not trained to work with dogs. I will never be back to this location. I don't trust them with my dogs, and you probably shouldn't either. The level of care was not worth the price. I will be taking them to a more reputable boarding location next time.

My dogs are accustomed to being around, just our family and don't always be friend new people readily. They immediately took to the owner, Brian. Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. I will definitely use Hicks Farm again and I highly recommend them!

Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, my experience with Barking Life was VERY DISAPPOINTING…read more The day before an important trip, I contacted Barking Life for care for my two dogs. They quickly matched me with a sitter, and I paid over $250 upfront, completed all paperwork, and scheduled a meet-and-greet. The sitter spent about 1.5 hours with me, interacted well with my dogs, discussed their routines in detail, referenced future visits, and left with my apartment key and parking permit. At no point did she express any concerns. About an hour after she left, I received a call stating that the meet-and-greet "didn't go well" and that the booking was canceled. This was completely unexpected based on our interaction. What made the situation even more concerning was that the company initially seemed unaware that the sitter still had my apartment key and parking permit. Thankfully, another staff member personally retrieved and returned them more than two hours after the sitter had left with my belongings. To make matters worse, the cancellation occurred less than 12 hours before my trip, leaving me scrambling to find alternative care for my pets. Also, reunds typically take 7-10 business days to process for a service that was never provided. My issue is not that a sitter has the right to decline a booking. My issue is with the process. I would strongly recommend requiring a meet-and-greet before collecting full payment, or charging a small consultation fee until both parties agree to move forward. This would prevent customers from paying hundreds of dollars upfront only to have services canceled at the last minute. I also believe there should be clearer expectations regarding booking commitments. While emergencies, illness, or family matters are understandable reasons for canceling, none of those reasons were communicated in this situation. Customers should be able to rely on a booking once it has been accepted. Any concerns that may prevent a sitter from completing a service should be identified before payment is collected and final arrangements are made. Finally, I would encourage the company to be more cautious when accepting last-minute bookings. A cancellation less than 12 hours before departure can place customers in an extremely difficult position, especially after they have been encouraged to move forward with pet sitting instead of alternative arrangements. While I appreciate the employee who personally returned my belongings, the overall experience left me feeling unsupported during a time-sensitive situation when reliability mattered most.
