Best Place Ever! We the pups have fun here Every Day!We love playing with the other dogs and socializing!

We took Bella here for a "spa day" and she got the "works" lol. To say we were impressed with everyone that works there is an understatement and even more impressed and satisfied with how relaxed she was when she got home. I highly suggest the oatmeal soak/bath for your pets skin.

What she said is drinking water. But they both can't be drinking water so why are you putting chemicals near my dog

This place has bad reviews for a reason. I used to take my dog to a small family ran dog daycare and he loved it. The first few times I had taken my dog here he seemed to like it, and I didn't see anything I didn't like on the cameras. This morning when I went to drop him off he really did not want to go which was suspicious so I had my eye on the camera later in the morning. I dropped off my dog a little before 9. I checked the cameras around 10 and didn't see him anywhere. Eventually I saw him let out of a crate and then he was fine and then he was humping another dog and instead of saying no they just threw him back in the crate - by using a choker leash too, by the way. They put him in a crate and put cleaning water (which the manager tried to tell me was the drinking water but looks like there's a rag in it to me - but you be the judge in the pics). And they also stacked something else on it. Mind you there is literally a room of empty crates but the employee watching the room just didn't seem to care. After he's been in the crate I leave work to go pick him up. When I get there and I asked why my dog was crated. My dog wasn't the only dog crated that morning by the way. And the receptionist (the receptionist is very kind and by far the best employee I interacted with there) tells me that there have been no instances called in for that day. So basically this guy is crating dogs and not documenting it so unless you're paying attention basically nothing happened. So I'm not sure what else happened the other times I took my dog there but clearly something happened bc he was fighting getting dropped off this morning. I get my dog and put him in the car as he's panting and then I realize his collar is fastened all the way and is stupid tight around his neck. So they gave me my dog back, choking. The way I see it, they were pissed I was complaining and took it out on my dog. I go back to ask who got my dog and the manager is just sarcastic and unapologetic. There's a reason your business is rated so poorly. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

    Tyson at Dogtopia!

I love bringing my puppy Tyson here! We have been dropping him off for daycare once a week since he was 4 months old. He always comes home tired and I love being able to check in with the cameras. They also frequently take awesome pictures and videos of the dogs playing!

Not safe for your pup. I used Dogtopia in Tysons VA several times. I would check in on my 1 year old english yellow lab using the webcams accessible through their mobile app or website. Every time I checked on Barry, I got the feeling that there were too many dogs in one room and not enough humans for supervision. You would think they would try and maintain a certain ratio of human sitters to dogs but if that did, that ratio was 1 human for every 20 - 25 dogs. That should have been a red flag but I did not listen to my gut. On the 5th or 6th trip, I got a call saying that Barry was injured but that he seemed OK, a nip on the ear. I know dogs can be unpredictable and little accidents happen so I tried not to worry too much about it. Based on the staff's description, I let him stay. Two hours later I got another call saying there was another injury that they hadn't noticed at first, this one much more severe and that he was bleeding. I immediately left work to pick him up. You can see pictures of the wounds attached. There are several things that worried me once I had time to think about it. 1. Did this injury occur at the same time as the first? If so, how did they not see it? Barry is pure white so the slightest drop of blood is easy to spot. 2. If this was a separate incident, was it from the same dog(s). Did the dog that originally attacked Barry get put in a separate room or just left in the room with my dog? When I went to pick Barry up, I asked to see the video of what happened. They eventually isolated that footage and showed me. Barry was laying down by himself, 2 dogs approached and started playing. Barry jumped up to play and the other 2 dogs seemed to get very aggressive. Barry ran and then the other 2 dogs chased, setting off a chain reaction where all the dogs started chasing Barry into a corner where the camera did not cover. It was there that he was scratched or bitten. The staff at Dogtopia tried to console me, told me these things happen and said they would call tomorrow to check on him. They also said he did not need to go to the vet. I asked what would happen to the dog(s) that attacked Barry, thinking they would be dropped as clients. No. They said they would make sure they were not in the same room together ever again. So I guess some other pups will now be at risk from obviously aggressive dogs. They never called to check on him and Barry did indeed need to go to the vet. He could not walk up stairs for 3 days. He could not even sit down, I had to help him. He was forced to wear a cone for 2 weeks, and get 10 days of antibiotics. It was a nightmare for a young lab with unlimited energy. After the second vet visit, I wrote to Dogtopia and told them about the costs and asked them to pay the $500 vet bill. They never responded. I called and left messages to speak with a manager, they never called me back. The take away here is that Dogtopia's business model is to stuff as many dogs as they can into a room with minimal supervision (i.e. cost). When something bad happens, and it definitely will, they ignore their customers. There is no accountability and no system in place to insure it doesn't happen again to your dog or someone else's. Wouldn't the rest of the Dogtopia Tysons location want to know that another dog had been attacked? Dogtopia is not safe for your dog. It's that simple.

Yuki tired and happy after his day at Dogtopia.

The owner talked about how the ticket only said wash and nails. I could leave the dog there for the rest of the day and they would do it but my dog hadn't really needed it. The owner went on to say that if I wanted to bring my dog back in 3-4 weeks, she would just do just the haircut. 4 weeks later, I set up an appointment for just a haircut, and confirmed it right then and there - just a haircut. Yes, they understood. I then confirmed again when I dropped the dog off. They understood. When I picked them up, they had done a full groom, which looked fine but wasn't what i asked for. The owner implied I had misunderstood, but wouldn't address that she had said I could come back for just a cut, and she would not answer questions about why her staff had agreed repeatedly to just a cut. She just kept saying she didn't understand the confusion, and I had to pay $150 because they had done a full groom. she wasn't even aware of how much they charged for a full groom at first. She discounted 20%. Her response to me saying I wouldn't be bringing her my business anymore was, "That's fine". This business is not registered with the BBB. I recommend you go elsewhere, but get everything in writing if you bring your animal here.

Every booking, every pet, every time: more signatures and "agreements" than a mortgage closing. Somewhere there's a lawyer who's never met a dog and decided the real threat to this business is the guy who's paid them loyally for three years. You carefully fill out the entire grooming form online, pick every option -- then show up and they shove a paper copy across the counter to sign the exact same thing again. And after all that paperwork, they still claim they don't have the phone number they've had on file for three years and called me on before. Let's put this in perspective. I can order dinner to my door in two taps -- Reorder, Apple Pay, done. A stranger drives hot food across town on the strength of my thumbprint. But dropping off dogs these people have known for three years apparently requires a signing ceremony and a fresh liability waiver every single visit. In 2026, that's not caution. That's a business that's forgotten how to trust its own customers. And then there's the membership -- the crown jewel of contempt. They took a system that worked and actively torched it. Gone are the daycare credit packs: fair, flexible, buy-what-you-need, the way a business treats people it respects. In their place, a pricier monthly "membership" that auto-drafts your card whether your dog walks through the door or not, with no rollover for the days you paid for and never used. Read that again: you pay, they keep it, your dog gets nothing, and they call it a perk. It's not a membership -- it's a standing withdrawal from your bank account with a bow on it. It punishes the exact people who kept this place in business: the regulars whose lives don't run on a fixed weekly schedule. Some months my dogs come once, some months five times, because that's how actual life works -- and this program is built to make sure I lose either way. It doesn't serve pets. It doesn't serve owners. It serves a spreadsheet, and it treats every loyal customer as a recurring charge to be maximized rather than a person to be valued. It is, top to bottom, the most openly hostile "loyalty" scheme I've ever been asked to fund. When customers spend more time signing forms and fighting your billing than petting their dogs, you're not a pet resort -- you're a law firm with a kennel attached. Take your pets somewhere that still remembers what the word "customer" means.

Pebbles (blue heeler, 1.5 years old) would never listen to me, would not sit or lay still, and had a lot of other obedience issues that caused her to be stressed or confused. She was a TOUGH dog to train and I was concerned I couldn't find the solution for her to get basic concepts. This view has completely changed since working with RSK9's 3 week program. I would HIGHLY recommend them and their methods - you can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and it's made a huge difference in giving my dog the chance to find real rest at home. They send DAILY updates with photos and videos which was so nice. This isn't a regular class or something you just pay for; it's truly an investment that you and your dog will be using for the time you get to share together. Side note: it's worth doing 3 weeks versus 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark is when Pebbles really started to understand her marks and cues. From here there is so much more that can be refined and Brandi/Perry really capitalize on that threshold being crossed!
