First, the initial response to my request for a quote was prompt, which is always appreciated in the customer service realm. However, upon later research, I found their quoted price to be quite high compared to other local options. I felt pressured to pay in full upfront, which added to my hesitation. During the planning stages, I specified how the gate should swing outward, but it seems this instruction wasn't properly communicated. The technician who arrived for the installation was unsure if the entire fence or just a part was to be replaced, which caused confusion. The day the project was to begin, the crew arrived ready to dig but were unable to start due to the lack of proper flags marking the underground utilities (electrical, phone, WiFi, etc.). Unfortunately, the existing fence had already been taken down without confirming this crucial step, exposing a pond that was previously secured from children and pets. I appreciate their eventual decision to put up a temporary wire fence, which provided some peace of mind during this oversight. However, the delays continued. The flagging was incomplete, particularly in the backyard, which added yet more days to the project timeline. When the work did finally resume, it was frustrating to see only one person sent to dig the holes manually, suggesting a lack of adequate resources for the job. Additionally, there was a significant amount of excess product left in my driveway for several days, and while someone eventually came to pick it up, they were unable to remove the heavy metal fence from my backyard due to being short-staffed. This ongoing debris has become an even bigger issue, as I have reached out to Paramount at least three times for assistance with removal, but it remains unresolved after a week. In summary, while Paramount Fence delivered the product as promised and managed to install a temporary solution, the overall experience left much to be desired in terms of organization and communication. I would be open to revising my review positively if they could address the debris issue promptly and consider a reimbursement for the disruptive service that did not meet the promised quality. Time and again, people on the Ann Arbor Dog Owners Facebook group mentioned Peaceable Pets. I read all the reviews, stalked Peaceable Pet's Facebook page (where Robin posts videos of her guests and informative articles about all things animals), scrutinized the information on her website, did a meet and greet with Marcy, our dog walker, a play date at the Dellwood Doggy Ranch (required for doggy daycare and boarders). I give it 10/10 stars. Peaceable Pets is an Ann Arbor treasure. You will not find someone more knowledgeable about dogs than Robin. Some reasons I love what Robin offers: 1. She understands my dog's unique personality, quirks, and needs. 2. She prioritizes the safety, well-being, and quality of life for my dog. 3. The pick-up and drop-off times worked well with my schedule, which was variable for a while, and then predictable for another while. 4. I trust her 100%. 5. Every time I bring Hagrid to her, he bounds toward her and doesn't even look back to say goodbye. Every dog parent knows that is a good sign. 6. Hagrid is calm and content when he returns from daycare. ...I could go on and on. As for dog walking, Marcy was wonderful and reliable. A few times I bumped into Marcy while I was walking Hagrid and saw his entire body language and vocalization over his joy of seeing Marcy. There is no stronger endorsement than that, in my opinion. To top it all off, Robin and Marcy have really interesting personalities, back stories, and talents when they are not caring for our beloved animals. Marcy speaks French. Robin sings in a band. They are the absolute best.

In the last couple of years they've definitely gotten busier, but I never have a problem getting my pup in within a week or two of my desired time frame. It's more typical for me to get an appointment scheduled within the week I call. I love that they do a great "standard" treatment (brushes out, washed, nails, anal gland expressing, & ears) for $40. Compared to places I'd gotten my pup groomed at, North Bark is wayyyy more affordable. They do a great job too! She always comes out with some sort of bow on her color, fitting the season or holiday. Another thing I really appreciate is the open environment in the back. So while my pup is waiting for me or waiting for her turn, she gets to socialize with other dogs. They offer doggy day care as an option, and I have had her ferminated (I think that's the right word) for when she's really blowing her coat... This time I took her in, she had a hot spot. I gave the groomer a heads up and they made sure to watch the spot. I can say enough how much I love taking her here for her grooming needs!
