I really enjoyed this spumoni latte. It was coffee forward with hints of pistachio. Staff were awesome . Space had plenty of parking with dog friendly patio. Furniture needed some cleaning it seemed, but other than that the space was open and inviting.
Always on the hunt for local coffee shops so we were excited to give this one a try. There are a few other locations but this one was on our radar as we were in the neighborhood. There was a bit of construction going on so the entrance was a little hard to get to but I believe that has since been resolved! The space is quite large with lots of different seating options but some of the furniture looked to be in need of repair or at least a good cleaning. The staff were excellent and our drinks were very good. We got a cold drink called Beach, Please which was a Coconut Cold Brew topped with banana cold foam. Very tasty and just the right amount of sweetness to it. The other drink we got was a hot one called The Spumoni Latte which was a honey pistachio flavored latte with pistachio sugar crumble. Also very good but I wish it had been a little sweeter for my liking. There was plenty of parking available in the lot and the outdoor patio was very nice!

Dogwood is one of the best coffee spots in the city. This location has plenty of parking, a spacious patio, and a lively vibe that makes it a great weekend stop. There's usually a line on Saturdays and Sundays, but it always moves quickly and is worth the wait. Their seasonal drinks are some of the most creative and best-tasting around, the Camper and the Sweet Potato Maple Bourbon Latte in particular are fantastic. On top of that, the staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.
This coffee shop is huge! Came in to grab my husband a bag of coffee cause he has heard great things but I bought a chocolate croissant and decided to work for a few hours. It was incredibly productive! There are essentially rows of hotelling stations with outlets in each for you to be able to connect and stay charged. There's also compfy couches and chairs if you wanted to meet up and lounge for a bit. Everyone is super respectful, quiet, and welcoming - highly recommend stopping in if you need a change of space!

They also had a small selection of pastries and cookies to go along with the drinks. The baristas were very kind and helpful, not pushy at all. There are plenty of spots for seating, even a ping pong table if you wanted to play. It has an industrial/artsy kind of vibe going on, not overly comfy and warming. It was kind of drafty inside as well, a tad chilly on a cold MN morning. Overall we enjoyed the place and my Mocha hit the spot and the scone was amazing!
Some of the best coffee in the city. Such a great NE vibe. The baristas are always cool and nice. Love the artsy warehouse vibe. Always has lots of folks working & chatting in the little cubbies.

I got a Red Wolf Chai Latte with oat milk, which I immediately chugged because it was so good. Aside from the cute to-go cups, there's also a selection of merchandise featuring their branding so I couldn't help but buy one of their stickers. I don't often feel excited about having to do work, but being at Dogwood brought me a lot of joy.

Super cute coffee shop my husband and I stumbled across. The inside was super clean and pretty large seating area. This would be a good place to bring your laptop, get a coffee and work for a while. Service was great, very friendly. Lattes were very good and they had good bakery options! Their marketing is great - cute cups, stickers, coffee cup sleeves...everything is branded like the cups you see in my photo - so cute!
I stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon for a cup of coffee. The service and coffee was delicious. It was quite busy so was hard to find a spot to sit. However, they do have a lot of seating and outdoor seating. Great spot to meet with friends or to even work from.
Great coffee, great staff, great place! I've had their coffee before but decided to try the butterfly pea lemonade. It was yummy and refreshing, and not too sweet. It gets pretty busy throughout the day with a lot of WFH people, so come early to snag a good spot with an outlet. I came at 1pm and there were no open spots inside, but there's a beautiful and shaded outdoor seating area.
Parking was surprisingly easy! They have a parking lot in front and we easily found a spot on a Saturday at 11am. We ordered a regular park pass coffee, espresso, and vanilla latte that exceeded our expectations! The drinks didn't taste burnt and had great flavor! We ended up buying a bag or the Park Pass we were so impressed. The service was great and they answered all of our questions. There was lots of seating inside and outside (many people on their laptops and conversing with friends). The inside seating wasn't very comfortable if you're looking to stay a long time, but everything else was fabulous!
Have been to the other Dogwood locations but this was my first time at their location in NE and is easily my new favorite of the 3! They have a huge indoor and outdoor seating area and the patio is dog friendly - which was great to bring my god (they had water bowls and all). They also roast their beans here, so it's very cool to see that as well A few girlfriends and I sat outside on a beautiful Friday morning and enjoyed coffee and catching up. We ended up all getting one of the seasonal specials the spumoni (lavender honey latte) and we all really enjoyed our drink. They also have a wide variety of pastries from if you local spots including Marc Heu, which is awesome as going to the actual location can be a bit of a nightmare with long lines. The barista were all very friendly and were churning out orders quickly. There is some construction going on in the area right now so you do have to loop around a little bit which is a little confusing, but there is a huge parking lot with tons of available parking Another huge perk as it is also on the coffee compass pass - I'm already planning to go back tomorrow to use that BOGO deal :) read more
I stopped by during Art-A-Whirl and my first thought when I got closer was "I made a mistake, this was a bad decision" because of the crowd of people walking all over and the traffic. I can't be more thankful that they have dedicated customer parking only spots right out front because I would have skipped altogether if I couldn't find parking. Love that they have an accessible ramp, a spacious patio with some outdoor seating, really spacious indoor seating and clean bathrooms. Staff was friendly and despite the constant stream of new customers they were so fast and efficient in getting everything out quickly. Coffee was good, the chocolate chip cookie by Marc Heu was a bit disappointing though (that's not a Dogwood issue though) it just a want chocolate chip cookie-ing. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and dedicated parking is a win in my book. Also love that they partner with Sweet Renaissance for special drinks for the month. read more

I can't believe it's taken me this long to try dogwood coffee! I've heard about Dogwood quite frequently for a number of years but for one reason or another, have never had the opportunity to take advantage of stopping into a location. That all changed today. I was running a few errands close by and remembered that this shop was set just block off of the main street. There are a lot of businesses in the area, as well as some pretty hefty construction going on right across the street, but luckily Dogwood has plentiful parking right in front so there was no issue finding a spot. Before even entering, I was impressed by the space as there was a large patio and colorful murals welcoming you. The artsy theme continued as you went inside with a large open industrial vibe with plentiful space to work, or catch up with friends. Heading over to the counter you can peek into glass doors and see where all of the dogwood roasting is taking place. I passed a small merch set up and was able to quickly place my to go order. Customer service was great, coffee was made with minimal wait and it tasted delicious. I grabbed my coffee and had it outside and after the first few sips decided that I will definitely be back again. read more

Love this coffee shop! The ambience in there is just so chill, pods, tables and great to hang out or study/work. The coffee and teas there are to die for. I love their pastry as well. Service is quick and workers there are all so nice. In the warmer months, they open their outdoor patio. I biked there a few times and they have bike racks for you to park your bikes. read more

Such a cute coffee shop! My boyfriend and I got our coffee to go but I am really looking forward to coming back and sitting in their bright and airy space. Service was great and they even had a designated room with a ping pong table! We both thoroughly enjoyed our coffees, look forward to making a stop at Dogwood Coffee again! read more
A coffee shop with an activity of some sort will always be superior. Dogwood coffee has its own parking, ample seating, great coffee, AND ping pong...could you ask for more? Both drinks were on their seasonal menu, so run (don't walk) to your nearest Dogwood to try them. The salted maple cold foam cold brew was a bit subtle in flavor, which let's the coffee shine (but wish there was slightly more flavor since it was so good). Really loved the AOL - coffee can have citrusy notes, and that was brought out beautifully by the orange. That + the slight nuttiness and sweetness from the almond & the cinnamon on top was delish! Great space to chill for a while. read more

Best coffee shop in msp so far. I've gotten drip, a latte, and now an espresso tonic and everything is top quality. Ample seating and parking, there's always somewhere to sit. Music not too loud. Friendly and helpful baristas. Espresso sold in shop tastes great at home. Must stop for coffee in the twin cities! read more

I came in at around 8:15 am. I did not get my drink until 8:50 am. I stood at the pick up area and no one cared to ask if I needed help. There was no line when I got there. I had to ask the barista again when my order would be ready, he admitted he forgot to call it then proceeded to quickly make my drink. I paid for a 16oz and received a 10oz. The female barista working threw a drink coupon down in front of me and didn't say anything. The male barista who made my drink picked it up and offered it to me. I politely declined, I will never give my money to a business who treated me so poorly again. read more
I got the "Beach Please" cold brew and a croissant donut. Both were fantastic! There was lots of seating options and this was a great place to do homework. The booths have outlets and hooks for your bags. They also have a cute deck that had lots of outdoor seating/workspace. Parking was free and plentiful. They have their own parking lot. P.S... this is just a random fun face but their napkins are really soft lol! read more

Location, location, location. This one is IT! Large parking, hipster energy, friendly baristas, giant green lawn, open windows, dog friendly patio, Marc Heu Patisserie baked goods (gasp), indoor ping pong table, abundant work stations for those who work remote or wish to start some creative project - is a MOOD. Another mood is if you travel into the bathroom you may notice tiger wallpaper with Eye of the Tiger playing on repeat. No, you aren't going crazy - this is a fact. I'm a big fan of any specialty drinks so be sure to peek at this section as they seasonally rotate. My favorite right now is the Beach Please which is coconut cold brew with banana cold foam on top (pinch me) and the Spumoni Latte. If this review doesn't get you in, I don't know what will. Went here for a little study hang this morning and it was great! Good combo of indoor and outdoor space. It was a beautiful day so they had all the garage doors open. Concrete floors modern feel. LOVE that it is spacious and you don't feel like you're cramped in here. Plenty of different seating options too from couches to stools to booths. Ample free parking. This is my favorite location in the cities. Dogwood is the best coffee. Also they have kombucha on tap! Hard to Find in the cities and I am a big fan. read more

Got there fairly early on a Saturday morning. Vibe was chill, people are friendly, lots of places to sit. Mmmmm, coffee is tasty and the pastries are from Marc Heu. I'm crazy about French pastries and his are among the best in the twin cities. I live in Minneapolis and was trekking to St. Paul only to learn from another fellow yelper that I can just come here. I can see this becoming one of my favorite coffee shops to go to. For reference, I also really like Ceres Cafes, Spyhouse, Fairgrounds and Cuppa Java. read more
