We had the best time here this morning. We found Doki Doki on Yelp when looking for a nail salon for my daughter for prom. She looked at some photos and decided she wanted to come here. I called to make an appointment and was able to make one without any issues. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated. We had a bit of a wait because, it was prom. We met our friend from church here as well. My daughter went first since her nails were going to be way more involved. Chloe did her nails and did a fabulous job! They turned out absolutely amazing! They gave me a quote and I approved it, but it ended up being a little bit less. Our friend and I just got the deluxe gel manicures with the sugar scrub, lotion massage and paraffin wax with hot towel treatment. I was in heaven! Mia did my manicure and she was excellent! The place is super cute with pink and floral decor and playing great country music. They accept cards, cash and Zelle. $2 transaction fee for cards. Super easy to tip with Zelle as well. If you pay cash, they have a stamp program to get $20 off after you spend a certain amount and fill the stamp card. We will definitely be back! I had a really disappointing experience at this nail shop. I showed the tech exactly what I wanted and clearly told her I wanted to keep my natural nail length. Despite that, she kept filing my nails shorter and even used a sanding band directly on my real nails, which was uncomfortable and damaging. She also kept hitting the tips of my nails, causing them to chip--then filed them down even more to "fix" it, making them much shorter than I wanted. I also want to point out that I understand sanding bands are sometimes used so product can adhere properly. However, I came in with builder gel already on my natural nails and was charged $15 for removal. If I'm being charged for a full takeoff, then all the old product should be completely removed--but it wasn't. They kept saying they weren't done yet, but I do nails myself, so I know what proper removal looks like. At one point, she was already sizing fake nails to apply, and if I hadn't spoken up and insisted that all the old product be removed first, she probably would have applied the new set over leftover product, which is not okay. On top of that, one of my nails actually crickets during the process, even one of her coworkers told her about that nail but she just ignored it, and she didn't fix it or even try to remove and correct it properly, which made the result even worse. I could tell they were struggling with the design I originally asked for, so I tried to make it easier by choosing a simpler one. When I asked about the price, I was shocked--they said each red bow would be $5 extra. At that point, I was already frustrated and just told them to do a basic base color with chrome on top because I wanted to leave. On top of everything, the staff kept talking in Chinese about me, assuming I wouldn't understand, which made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. The owner also had a very unfriendly attitude. Overall, I felt rushed, disrespected, and unhappy with both the service and the result. I won't be coming back. Update on the Owner Reply: I went to a lot of salon to get my nail done and there's no problem with them keeping my real nail under the gel x set. And you guys doesn't even know how remove it correctly so that the client don't feel the heat on there's real nail. You should continue wrapping the client nail with foils until it completely remove all the gel, what the tech did was wrap my nail only one time and then she just keep using the file to file the product down and you should know better that you shouldn't do that (your guys skills is the problem that make our nails thin). My cuticles are hurting right now, still hurt from what your employer did. You guys always said "sorry we will improve our skills and how you treat customers." But in the end it never improve. I recommend you guys go to "Chic Nail and Spa in San Dimas". A very reasonable price with great skills. I usually come here but the tech that usually did my nail went on a vacation that why I have to go to this salon. I always get the look I want here--especially with pedicures, they do a great job every time. One thing I really appreciate is that the nail techs aren't overly chatty. I like to relax and zone out when I'm getting my nails done, and they keep the conversation simple, which I love. They can take a little longer sometimes, but honestly the results are always worth it. The quality of the work makes the whole process feel reasonable. I came here to get one broken nail fixed before a destination wedding and trip after someone from one of my workout classes recommended this salon. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and I appreciated that they tried their best to color match my existing set when they didn't have the exact chrome pink shade I originally had. That said, the actual quality of the repair was unfortunately not great. The Gel-X replacement tip was placed and filed pretty poorly, the shape didn't blend well with my other nails, and the polish was flooding into my cuticle area. I wasn't expecting a perfect color match at all, but the final color ended up looking more peachy/shimmery than intended and didn't really match the rest of my set. I paid $135 for a very basic service: short French tip Gel-X nails and plain white gel toes. For that ridiculous price, I expected better service and professionalism. During my appointment, I was called boring to add a design after choosing a simple look, which made it seem like they were trying to upsell me rather than respect what I wanted. The nail tech doing my hands was also rude for no clear reason pulling my hands and sternly speaking with me, even though I was polite from the moment I walked in, if I was moving or doing something to upset her, it could've been said instead of just immediately becoming aggressive with me. It seemed like she was annoyed that I wanted my old Gel-X set removed instead of getting a fill, but my natural nails had already grown out significantly underneath. Brought my 2 teen daughter's here to get nails done. They were excited to have a new salon with new services. We knew the prices were higher than other places but wanted to try it out. We said no and she went on to say it was a higher charge $15 to remove gel because not done there . Ok that was the first sign that they nickel and dime you for everything. I made appointments here several different times and each time I have had to wait at least 30 minutes to be seated. They do not honor appointments and on top of that I asked for a specific nail tech when I booked my appointment and they said she's available, but when I arrived that nail tech had taken another client. The excuse the owner gave me is the design of the person before me was taking longer than planned and I would have to wait 1 hour. That's unacceptable because the owner knew I had an appointment and just poorly managed schedules. It's very disappointing. Other than that, the staff is nice and does a great job, but it's upsetting that they do not care about appointments made several days in advance. I'd understand if this only happened once in a while but it's happened every single time I've booked in advance. I've never had this type of experience at other nail salons. read more

They are nice. they had convinced me frm first visit that I needed to try overlay so I had the "overlay" done for my nails...if I'm having a service done, I want to trust fully nail tech is experienced and has done this many times until craft perfectly learned but if not , please do not practice on your clients without consent!! My advice is don't practice at salon. Your Salon bio info says your salon pay (exquisite attention to detai)...this was not my case. I want to trust I walk in salon that every one has great experience! Tech left heavy layer overlay sitting over my nails, very bulky filed terribly with jagged sidewall nail edges , one of my nails was offset so it look crooked, the nails were heavy and bulky looking. just understand not all clients will revisit if a job is poorly done, You're going to loose them this way. Here's why: Out of the 5 or 6 employees sitting around doing absolutely nothing, only one greeted me with a "hello." When I mentioned I had an appointment, she just said "ok" and then assigned me to the least experienced technician. The technician seemed nervous and unsure of herself. Meanwhile, the other staff members were preoccupied chatting about the one woman getting her nails done. Then another customer came in, and they all stood around watching while the owner fussed over her appearance and carried on. To make matters worse, my pedi turned out awful--honestly, they looked like a child had done them. I tipped $10 for a total of $40, and it left me feeling even more frustrated because for $20 more, I could've gotten both a manicure and pedicure at my usual place. I only came here because I didn't want to drive to Upland that evening. I won't make THAT mistake again. The final straw was how I was treated when I paid. I used Zelle via the QR code at the counter and showed the technician that the payment went through. However, as I was leaving, she started chasing after me because, apparently, the money hadn't reached them yet. Thankfully, another staff member told her it had gone through, but it was such an uncomfortable and unnecessary moment. Between the lackluster welcome, inexperienced service, and overall unprofessional environment, I won't be returning. I also won't recommend this place to anyone. I was in the area and needed a nail removal and just simple gel-x polish. This salon was the first place that popped up and I thought why not? When I came in, it was on their opening day and they were very welcoming and took the time to seat me down and show me all their available gel polishes. Eve did a wonderful job on my nails and was a nice conversationalist. She was careful and gentle with my nails and did a great job at cleaning my cuticles. If there was a bit of dust or if the polish application didn't look right she would take her time to fix it. As I got my nails done, Eve and the owner were very transparent about the pricing even through the end of checkout which I always do appreciate. This is the second occurrence in a row of me scheduling an appointment and one or both of my services were started very late. The first time services initiated 45 minutes after my appointment time. Today , one of my services was started one hour and 15 minutes late. The purpose of making a n appointment is to RESERVE the time with the technician requested. If you aren't going to assure that technician is available at the requested time, you shouldn't accept scheduled appointments. read more

I've been driving by this salon since it opened and hadn't had a chance to go in until today....i must say, what an adorable salon! The girls are all so nice and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Their Gel-X is amazing!! Would highly recommended their gelx extensions!! They're so thin and natural looking! I just wish they had better color options. I kept telling her I didn't like them to be see-through, that I wanted opaque and with the glitter from the cat eye it's not noticeable but when the light isn't hitting my nails right you can definitely see right through it. There was a language barrier so I will be a bit more assertive about asking for a second coat next time because I don't think she understood I didn't like I could see through the tip. It was $60 for the extensions + $20 for the cat eye color. I'll definitely be going back and go a different route with the coloring. As far as pedicures go, mine came out okay, nothing special. I don't typically get base color on my toes and keep it clear with an off white French tip. She left marks on my nail from removing the old gel and you can kind of see it. Not the biggest deal since it's winter but the basic pedicure was $30 + $15 for gel + $15 for French tip so I probably won't be getting my toes done there anymore because of the price when I already have a tech who's priced lower and does a better job. Not that my toes are bad, I just have a better tech I'd rather stick with especially for the price point. I will most definitely be back for a fill on my nails though, cannot recommend them enough for gel-x! My nail tech was Yan, she was really nice and great about detail! I found this salon on yelp when I was in need of nail maintenance. I had acrylic nails that were grown out with one being chipped. when I got here, I told them I wanted a new set. Mamie ended up removing my acrylics and took time and care, instead of just removing them by ripping them off like most salons do when they're in a hurry . Mamie gave me a fresh clean manicure and she did a new gel X set and the design was exactly what I wanted. Mamie is professional and extremely talented! Aida (spellcheck on her name) is amazing!! I'll be going to her. She is meticulous, gentle, and very detailed. I saw her work on another client and I was impressed with her nail designs and how patient she was with this client who was very particular with the way she wanted her nails. Once she was done with her, she was switched over to me and wow. I'm her eye for detail and thoroughness really impressed me. My nails look so clean and trimmed because my cuticles are always a mess. My nails from Stephanie also lasted a three weeks without chipping. I didn't get the name of the third nail next but she was wonderful too. It is hard finding a salon where all the women working are good. They do prefer appointments but will take walk ins. You may wait or not. Aida gave me a hand massage and I got a towel treatment so not sure what happened with the first appointment on why that was not included. My next treatment is trying their pedicures. read more

Yan did my gel x & it was exactly everything i wanted and exceeded my expectations for a salon. she took time on my cuticle care & the shape is just perfect. the cat eye came out flawless. my total was $100 flat including gel x removal & cat eye. i'm not sure if that's steep or decent, since i go to a private nail tech that charges her own prices & is significantly cheaper (but she's also a friend). regardless, the manicure was well worth it. i will be coming back for both manicure and pedicure services ! read more
