I had been struggling to find someone in Sacramento who could do a builder gel set close to what I was getting in Napa BUT as fate would have it... JENNIFER is the answer to my prayers. I went in this past Saturday and…read moreshowed her exactly what I wanted before she even started: chrome French tips with a little glitter on top. She immediately told me it couldn't be done because she would have to add a base. Even after I told her to just add the base, she kept making excuses about the cost and saying it wasn't possible. I ended up settling for a standard white tip, hoping the glitter she chose would at least look decent. It wasn't what I wanted at all. The worst part is that as soon as she finished the very last nail, she admitted that we could have done the chrome at the beginning, but it was "too late now" because the white was already on. This is the second time she has done this to me. She waited until the job was finished to tell me she actually could have given me the design I asked for. I told her straight up that I wasn't happy. If you want someone book with Angel instead. I've gone to her before and she is great, but definitely avoid Nancy.

Im a bit of a perfectionist so nails that are rough or uneven or have small imperfections literally drive me crazy and have me ripping off nails prematurely. But finding Pam who is also a perfectionist and an artist is what I needed. Overall the shop is something I look forward to as my pampering/luxury experience for hands or feet. I love my mimosa I get and just the whole experience from beginning to finish. The team is so welcoming and I always feel so pampered when I come! But again Pam. I asked to do square white dip powder and my nail tech wasn't willing to do what I wanted. I got a mani and pedi and my pedi turned out great. The lady was super sweet and provided great service. My manicure tech first told me she wouldn't cut down my nails shorter after I had asked her to which she responded "it'll look ugly". I understand for specific nail shapes like almond a specific length is required to achieve that look but not for square. I then told her about how my family owns nail shops and she proceeded to make a comment about how it's a chop shop based on its location. In any circumstance when is it ever appropriate to make that comment?? This salon is nice and it is on the pricier side but the service does not meet the price point. I had multiple witnesses as well who can attest to these comments since I went with my friends. My square shape also came out wide, bulky, and ugly. I had to refile and reshape themselves. I can't speak for everyone but that was my experience at Blush and I won't be back.

I've debated of writing this review for a good week... My…read moremother and I used to come for a long time then I moved out to Folsom. I recently moved back a few months ago and decided it's time to go back. Which it was great the first time I came back I got a full set and a pedicure, with French tip on my toes and hands Done very well no complaints. 2-3 weeks later I came back to get a my acrylics removed to get dip and another pedicure. And they started me in the pedicure chair and began removing the old polish from my toes. I did have acrylic on my big toes since the month before my bigger toes were too short to do French tip. I asked the nail tech that was doing my service if she could remove the fake nail and she said she'd take it off. So I waited and then she started pulling out what I think was builder gel and started applying it over the false nail on my bigger toes. I then again asked her to take it off and remove it and AGAIN she said yes she'd remove it. Not too sure if she understood but I was already an hour into my pedicure and not to mention she's burned my toes from filing with the machine, she kept digging her nails into my toes to the point where my bigger toes that she was working on was RED and irritated. She never ended up taking off the false nail as I asked her and I let it go because I I just wanted to be done with the pedicure. Mind you I got the most basic pedicure. So she laid the builder gel over the false nail and it came out crooked and then she began doing the French tip. And at this point I believe we were 2 hours into the pedicure and people who came in after me had already gotten their pedicure and nails done and were in and out before I even finished my PEDICURE. At this point they had another nail tech come over to the pedicure chair and start removing my acrylic on my hands to start that process. While they started that I then noticed that the French tip on my toes was extremely crooked and I kept telling her. I may have told her 5-6 times that I finally told her to just paint the whole nail but the builder gel she put on my bigger toes made it look extremely bulky and ugly. So I then asked the nail tech that was doing my hands if they have someone else that knows how to do French tip. I mean I'm paying for this service and tipping them very well so I want what I want. Come to find out the lady doing my toes doesn't speak English so there was no way I could communicate with her what I wanted. And the nail tech doing my nail had to tell her every time my nails were crooked and eventually she had to file one side down because the whole nail was crooked. I ended up settling on how they looked after 2 1/2 hours of sitting in the chair and my pedicure wasn't even done yet. After she finished my French tip she then began massaging my legs and unfortunately it was the most un enjoyable pedicure I've ever experienced. 3 hours sitting in a pedicure for the most basic pedicure was the worst. I ended up paying $60 plus a $10 tip just for my pedicure and $125 in total without tip. And not to mention I got dip and they ended up lifting and chipping off after 1 week... Not sure if I will ever return after that. And it's sad because I used to love and enjoy going to get my nails here done but the inconsistency sucks. And not to mention I've NEVER had fungus on my toes EVER and now I have fungus on one of my toe nails... SOO disappointing.

She was very nice, but I could tell she was learning. While I got the package pedicure, it took 1 hour and 50 min. That is a bit longer than I would have liked. At the end of my pedi I went to the bathroom and noticed that my paint wasn't fully dry when she added the oil/alcohol, so my toes were matte and required fixing. I also had to request that she remove more of the dead skin nails, which someone else stepped in to do - then dig so deep my toe started bleeding. I want to like this place so bad because of the convenience, however $72 (gel pedi + 1 nail with powder) is a bit much when I have to watch and request changes are made to improve the quality. I did find a lady that did hands (Mai) and since I saw her work, I would go back to try her, but pedicures may be out for me here. 0 stars. Had to come back in two weeks because my big toes had cracked and or lifted. This was a gel manicure. This has never been the case for any quality pedicures I have received, as they typically last 4-5 WEEKS! when I came back and showed the lady how badly my toe was bleeding when I walked out of here, she told me that had happened somewhere else and I should have told someone I was bleeding. I explained to her that they knew I was bleeding because they had tried to stop it, however, when I walked out it was continuing to bleed.
