I had been struggling to find someone in Sacramento who could do a builder gel set close to what I was getting in Napa BUT as fate would have it... JENNIFER is the answer to my prayers. Not only has she got the builder gel technique down but she is fast and really good. The cherry on top are her freehand designs

DO NOT BOOM WITH NANCY. highly recommend not booking with Nancy. I went in this past Saturday and…read moreshowed her exactly what I wanted before she even started: chrome French tips with a little glitter on top. She immediately told me it couldn't be done because she would have to add a base. Even after I told her to just add the base, she kept making excuses about the cost and saying it wasn't possible. I ended up settling for a standard white tip, hoping the glitter she chose would at least look decent. It wasn't what I wanted at all. The worst part is that as soon as she finished the very last nail, she admitted that we could have done the chrome at the beginning, but it was "too late now" because the white was already on. This is the second time she has done this to me. She waited until the job was finished to tell me she actually could have given me the design I asked for. I told her straight up that I wasn't happy. If you want someone book with Angel instead. I've gone to her before and she is great, but definitely avoid Nancy.

Updating from 3 to 4 stars- Since my review yesterday,…read morecommunication with management has been timely and professional. While the manager explained that the nail tech is newer staff, she was also apologetic for the quality of service I received. I feel that she was receptive of my feedback and heard my concerns regarding the nail shape and polish. As I mentioned, this salon seems to have a solid base of regulars. Hopefully newer staff can receive more training so that the quality is consistent and this local small business can continue to serve the neighborhood! --- My friend and I went for pedicures this afternoon. It was busy and we were walk-ins so, understandably, there was a wait. There seemed to be a good amount of regular customers, which was encouraging. My nail tech was nice and seemed to take his time despite how busy it was. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed by the quality of the pedicure. The polish is uneven both in its coverage and texture. Some nails aren't painted fully, even after I pointed them out and he went back to touch them up. Because of multiple coats (he did 2 coats of polish, top coat then more touch up polish then top coat again), the color is uneven and some are bumpy. The paint left around my cuticles is easily visible too. I wouldn't mind as much if these issues were on one, maybe two, toenails but it's on multiple and the pedicure looks messy overall. I was hoping this might be my go-to local nail spot but I'm disappointed by my pedicure experience.

They are clean, even, and super flattering, and the finish is next level. The pink shimmer has this gorgeous, almost iridescent glow that catches the light so beautifully without looking over-the-top. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Each nail looks consistent and smooth, with no bulkiness at all. It's just a sleek, natural feel that's exactly what you want with hard gel. They feel strong and durable, but still lightweight and comfortable. You can tell real care went into the prep and application because they look flawless up close. I've already gotten so many compliments, and they still look fresh days later. If you're thinking about hard gel, this is the place to go, they absolutely nailed it. (No pun intended).

They gave such a relaxing foot and leg massage-it was one of the best parts of the service. I've debated of writing this review for a good week... My…read moremother and I used to come for a long time then I moved out to Folsom. I recently moved back a few months ago and decided it's time to go back. Which it was great the first time I came back I got a full set and a pedicure, with French tip on my toes and hands Done very well no complaints. 2-3 weeks later I came back to get a my acrylics removed to get dip and another pedicure. And they started me in the pedicure chair and began removing the old polish from my toes. I did have acrylic on my big toes since the month before my bigger toes were too short to do French tip. I asked the nail tech that was doing my service if she could remove the fake nail and she said she'd take it off. So I waited and then she started pulling out what I think was builder gel and started applying it over the false nail on my bigger toes. I then again asked her to take it off and remove it and AGAIN she said yes she'd remove it. Not too sure if she understood but I was already an hour into my pedicure and not to mention she's burned my toes from filing with the machine, she kept digging her nails into my toes to the point where my bigger toes that she was working on was RED and irritated. She never ended up taking off the false nail as I asked her and I let it go because I I just wanted to be done with the pedicure. Mind you I got the most basic pedicure. So she laid the builder gel over the false nail and it came out crooked and then she began doing the French tip. And at this point I believe we were 2 hours into the pedicure and people who came in after me had already gotten their pedicure and nails done and were in and out before I even finished my PEDICURE. At this point they had another nail tech come over to the pedicure chair and start removing my acrylic on my hands to start that process. While they started that I then noticed that the French tip on my toes was extremely crooked and I kept telling her. I may have told her 5-6 times that I finally told her to just paint the whole nail but the builder gel she put on my bigger toes made it look extremely bulky and ugly. So I then asked the nail tech that was doing my hands if they have someone else that knows how to do French tip. I mean I'm paying for this service and tipping them very well so I want what I want. Come to find out the lady doing my toes doesn't speak English so there was no way I could communicate with her what I wanted. And the nail tech doing my nail had to tell her every time my nails were crooked and eventually she had to file one side down because the whole nail was crooked. I ended up settling on how they looked after 2 1/2 hours of sitting in the chair and my pedicure wasn't even done yet. After she finished my French tip she then began massaging my legs and unfortunately it was the most un enjoyable pedicure I've ever experienced. 3 hours sitting in a pedicure for the most basic pedicure was the worst. I ended up paying $60 plus a $10 tip just for my pedicure and $125 in total without tip. And not to mention I got dip and they ended up lifting and chipping off after 1 week... Not sure if I will ever return after that. And it's sad because I used to love and enjoy going to get my nails here done but the inconsistency sucks. And not to mention I've NEVER had fungus on my toes EVER and now I have fungus on one of my toe nails... SOO disappointing.
