[[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a pedicure first, and the technician was so kind and sweet. I wish I could remember her name b/c she made the experience relaxing & enjoyable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then I had my manicure done by Lily & she absolutely exceeded my expectations. I chose a cat-eye design with 3D flowers & she incorporated a beautiful French tip technique that turned out even better than I imagined. After several attempts with this location, I cannot recommend. Tech at #3 over filed and caused me to bleed. Did not clean under the nails and had a ton of extra top coat I had to clean up. Also had lifting and chipping of the gel in less than a day. I wish I took pics initially. I prefer the other salon across the lot. read more

I go in to get a broken acrylic nail fixed and not only is the nail a different shape than the rest, the design is completely off, my nail is literally crooked, and they ruined the gems I had on it so they couldn't even be put back on. On top of that when I payed, I needed my change back and I said to take 2 dollars for tip and she took more than that. I left with nail glue all over my finger and needed to rip it off along with the skin that was stuck to it. Overall very unhelpful, messy, and does not do good work. I would have rather went without a nail at all if I knew this is what it would be like. I asked for crocodile skin and I received a mess. I will post how it was supposed to look vs what I got. Do not recommend! And yes I understand some salons can't do certain things but that does not mean it is okay to perform bad work on me, IF U CANT DO IT SAY SO! read more

Omg I love it here ! My 5 year old just had a birthday and my other daughter , 7 always was curious about what went on at the nail salon. They had only seen YouTube videos because being so young I just do their nail care at home. But I wanted them to experience in person and was apprehensive about if staff would be ok doing kids so young. Called the day before and they gave us a 9:30am appointment for a Saturday. Diane Nails and Spa is the best nail salon I have been to in years. They may not have the fancy ivy walls and neon signs, like so many overrated salons have, but they certainly have the skills and the service. There has not been one time I have left Diane's unsatisfied. They always spend a great deal of time ensuring that you're getting what you want and over the last year, have even taken the time to get to know me and the family I often bring with me to my appointments. When I am here, I feel cared for and if there is something I am concerned about, they always make sure to address it right away. They're honest and kind and I would not go anywhere else for my nail services. If you haven't taken the time to get your nails done here, I highly recommend giving them a chance, because they truly are the best. I'll be moving soon and I'm so sad that they'll be far away now, but will likely make the drive anyways! read more

I have now tried to do dip here twice - trying to give every place two tries with two different nail techs. Terrible quality. Not even two weeks in and both times nails separated from the dip. Really annoyed I'm out $45+ and now have to spend time and money again to get them redone. Also have had to wait over 30 min for the second visit I had which yes I understand but also super annoying when you've booked an appt. Overall I gave it an honest ever but won't be returning Normally I can go 4 even 5 weeks with no issues at my old place in Seattle. The search continues! read more

And I got the best pedicure I've had in a really long time (and I've been consistently getting pedicures for about 5 years). I was SO pleased with the service. Had the pleasure of receiving a pedicure from Vivian & a full set w/ design by Lily! I was very impressed with my experience! When we walked in we were not only greeted by the receptionist but also by a few of the other nail technicians as well. It was a very relaxed and peaceful environment. It's been about 6 years since I've had my nails done and a big part of that was sanitation/hygiene practices. From what I could see/feel the salon was very clean! Each pedicure tub was lined and changed out after each client and the tools/nail bits my nail technician used on me looked either new or sanitized. Vivian was very meticulous with my pedicure. She took her time as she cleaned up the cuticles and filed/shaped them in addition to checking each toe to make sure the length/shape matched. Also she gave a wonderful calf/hot stone massage. Lily took the time to look at my nail inspo picture and suggested the correct products to match. I originally wanted gel but she suggested the acrylic colored dip powder would be better for achieving the look I wanted and she did not disappoint! The colors down to the design were spot on to my inspo photo! I highly recommend booking with lily if you would like a design on your nails! For anyone who may be used to a "chop shop" style nail salon environment, I would definitely say this isn't one of them. I occasionally visit Natomas so I wanted to find a good nail salon that I could trust and go to whenever I visit. I found Diane Nails and Spa. I came in and the employees were very friendly and accommodating. The salon is a bright, clean space with your typical salon layout. I requested a gel manicure with an art design that I found online. I showed a picture of the nail art to the nail techs and they were willing to do the design on my nails. It turned out to be very cute and accurate to the picture I showed them. They only took under an hour to do my nails and ended my session with a relaxing hand and arm massage. I will definitely be coming back during my next visit! read more

WHY WE WENT HERE: - pedicure for me and the SO (regular for him; gel removal + application for me) THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in a plaza off Truxel Rd and Arena Blvd - located next door to Fresh Cleaners THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - clean - white and brown tones used - the massage chairs are unique in the sense that the remote is inside the arm itself vs a physical remote you carry in your hands - I like how all the pedicure stations are on the right hand side and all the manicure stations are on the left hand side CUSTOMER SERVICE: - you can easily make an appointment via Yelp; I made ours over the phone though - check-in was easy; greeted and seated immediately at our stations - packages were comparable to the nail salon that we normally go to - color selection seemed minimal; it was nice that it was provided to me in a booklet, but I didn't like how the colors were all over the place vs similar (i.e. not all the greens were in a row, they were sporadically placed all over the booklet) - cuticle care was gentle and thorough for me - the SO didn't like that his pedicurist rushed through the service vs. continue to massage him until my pedicure was done; he also didn't like that she scrubbed the softer parts of his foot vs the harder/callused parts - a nice touch was that because we came in right before Christmas, all the customers were provided with a free bottle of red wine upon checkout read more

I got a full set and was content with the shaping that was done (almond)-- it wasn't amazing but not terrible. The color painted on my nails came out streaky and opaque, as if it needs at least 1 more coat. I also asked for a VERY simple design but it was poorly done and was waaaay off from the photo I had presented. I wouldn't recommend this shop or come back again unfortunately. read more

This one had reviews which depicted the nail artists being of proficient skill levels. It was my sister's first time getting her nails done and they were not okay at all. My sister finished before I did and exited the nail salon. To my surprise of what was on her nails were underwhelming and highly disappointing especially since it was a simple thin French tip requested. End results were not the French tips she wanted due to the nail artist being distracted and not attentive for the entire session of doing her nails. [ This doesn't allow for voicing for change/opinion as the nail artist was on call during the entire session w/ quite the loud tone] I do understand that we were not regulars, hence more experienced nail artists were not working on us. With that said, this should not be the experience of a customer getting their nails done for the first time. Nor should this be an experience for a customer coming into a shop looking to be a repeating customer. Do be aware when choosing this salon as your first experience or if you are looking for another salon to get your nails done. read more
