I went in this past Saturday and showed her exactly what I wanted before she even started: chrome French tips with a little glitter on top. Even after I told her to just add the base, she kept making excuses about the cost and saying it wasn't possible. ​I ended up settling for a standard white tip, hoping the glitter she chose would at least look decent. I went to get pedicures with my daughter, and at first, everything was great. We were seated in the pedicure chairs right away. We did wait about 10 minutes for service, but it was a busy Friday afternoon and we didn't have an appointment, so that was understandable. The issue started when it was time to pay. The owner told me their Wi-Fi was down, so I would need to use the ATM for cash. However, while I was waiting, I had seen other customers paying with their cards. I also offered to pay through Venmo or Zelle, but she said she only accepted those for tips. This was confusing because I've been coming here for a while and have paid her through Venmo before. I explained that I didn't have cash on me and didn't want to use the ATM. She seemed frustrated, and suddenly the Wi-Fi was "back on," and I was able to pay with my card. The next morning, I noticed my gel pedicure had already chipped on the corner of my big toenail. My daughter had a gel pedicure and gel manicure as well, and by the third day, her gel manicure was already starting to peel off. When I called about my chipped nail, the owner asked me who had helped me. Honestly, I didn't know because the technician never introduced herself or told me her name. There wasn't much communication during the appointment, even though I tried to make small talk. I understand there can sometimes be a language barrier, so I didn't push for conversation and was completely okay with that. I asked if I could come in sometime during the week to have my nail fixed. She told me to come that same day (Saturday)when I called about my toenail. I explained that I was going to be busy and out of town, and asked if Monday would work instead. Her response was, "Well, what do you want?" in a rude tone. I told her I would see if I could come in soon, and she hung up on me. I didn't bother to call back about my daughter's manicure pealing. I went to get my nails done here, full set, design wasn't hard, didn't involve anything difficult. The lady who worked on my nails today worked at desk 14. i didn't catch her name. She was sweet and really nice but i genuinely don't think this is her specialty. The design and nails came out chunky and felt rushed and wasn't even done properly. There's bubbles in my nails which she blamed the gel for, which keep in mind has never happened to me whenever i got my nails done and i always get gel. She didn't even have the gems to the nails. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member. The service was pretty quick, and Linh did my pedicure. She was super gentle, even though I had my cuticles cut pretty deep by myself. I was a bit worried about the pain and possible discomfort, but it was totally painless. I opted for the $43 pedicure and an extra $15 for gel. It was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep! After my pedicure, I was handed off to Lisa. I showed her the photo I wanted, and she was amazing! She matched it to a tea! I was so impressed with my nails. She even remembered my name, which is a great personal touch when it comes to great customer service. Highly disappointed when she filed my nails all crooked and when I pointed them out Angel proceeded to tell me "yo eye just crooked the nail fine." Mind you she made my nails all while wearing HUGE SUPER DARK SUNGLASSES INSIDE THE BUILDING!!! Not only would she stop midway but she decided it was more important to check her Facebook, text others, AND check pictures of other people on her phone during my nail appointment. If you want to have crooked nails, be charged to the tee, be told your eyes are messed up when you point out the flaw then please go to her otherwise find someone else or go to a different nail salon all together. Didn't seat us by each other despite some tables having two seats open, they didn't even ask us. The girl that did my nails didn't speak to me at all except to pick the color of my nails. The nail tech next to us was so good about talking with his customers and it was apparent he had a return client come in. I did like the color my nail tech helped me pick. She also kind of cut my cuticle when she was electrically filing, I had the smallest sight of blood. But the thing that I am most upset about and why I have so little stars is after she was finished and I left the store, my nails had ripples and bubbles. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails and i told her that it was missing a red french tip and she told me it was too late and rolled her eyes. I told her from the beginning and I also told her several times. She the told me she can't change it because she added the top coat. Which I understand. But it wasn't how I wanted it. So much good stuff about this place but a couple key issues. The good: LeeLee did an excellent job. The work is fantastic and detailed. My chrome came out chrome-y and not just shiny. Massage was good. It's a comfortable location to get nails done. Prices seem fair. Needs help: My friend chose her chrome gel manicure color off the sample nail ring and then a regular toe color. Toenails first at the spa pedicure and then hop up and walk over for gel manicure. She reiterated the gel chrome she wanted. Turns out they didn't have that color. That needs to be told before - she got stuck with a combination of color chrome that looks nothing like what she wanted. $45 manicure with chrome should be what you want. You know? Also, they didn't communicate you can't tip once they process your card (no tip line). So I didn't add it before. And I didn't have cash to tip. And I don't screw over people who have provided a service so I had to leave and go get cash and drive it back to tip (Which I did). The day before thanksgiving that was really inconvenient, I had company visiting and I had last minute errands. Grrrrrrr. Nonetheless. The work was good and I will be back! it's the best option I have found in the area for sure. read more
