A cheese lovers paradise!! What a terrific wine/cheese shop. We stopped in to just look around, and came away very much impressed. They had a terrific array of cheeses, crackers, assorted gourmet teas, seasonings, accessories, meats, wine etc- whatever you'd want for a charcuterie board. They even had a nice display of vegan and lactose free cheeses. The staff seemed helpful and even discussed wine and cheese pairings with all of us. The staff seemed super knowledgeable. The prices were on par with the market and Farmington location. Excellent service, selection and ambiance!!

Formerly The Cheese Lady. Thankfully the new owner, Lindsey, and her husband are continuing in the same vein as the shop we grew to know and love. Fabulous assortments of cheeses! You're welcome to sample a few to help you decide. Service is pleasant, and the team is knowledgeable. Order ahead the grilled cheese sandwich kit for a fun and delicious approach to a classic - it comes with fresh bread, an abundance of cheese and a delicious chunk of made in Michigan butter. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some Mimolette and Midnight Moon calling my name

I went into this store and I will DEFINITELY be coming back. I stepped inside and I felt like I was in good Cheese heaven. The cheese lady is a Michigan only franchise. The creator Kathleen started out selling cheese at the farmers market. I talked with the wonderful Mitch who informed me that his parents were the owners of this location. They were at the Grand Rapids store so much that they joked that it would be cheaper to just open one themselves and so they did. Mitch went through in depth detail about each and every cheese and What crackers and topping you should pair it with for full effect and flavor. Today I tried many including a lovely chocolate cheese and a unique Humbolt fog- which is a Chèvre made in a medieval style so you have a change in the consistency and features a soft rind. They offer cheese from Michigan and world wide upon request and I highly recommend that you come in through out the week to ask about and sample their cheese selections. They will be announcing the schedule for their cheese 101 classes held in house during the new year. I asked Mitch what would he want potential customers to know about this The Cheese Lady location and he said, "We want to make sure that you get what you love and when you get home you devour it and come back". A fantastic time today exploring all things Cheese.

I LOVE, LOVE this store! I had my first brush with The Cheese Lady in Traverse City last summer but just found out about this store this morning when a new brunch spot was right next to this store. We tried a handful of different cheeses this morning and they were all delicious! We ended up with my favorite garlic Gouda and some truffle Gouda, that while pricey, is so worth it! I will definitely be back.

This is a nice shop in a great location. It's on the pricey side but you have to pay if you want extensive knowledge of cheeses. I purchased a box of Parmesan crisps and a bottle of juice. I can't remember which juice! Oh well. I'm a sucker for obscure and novel drinks so I'll return for others.

Bottom left chèvre w honey, triple cream camembert, gouda and dill havarti.

For all the cheese and cheese pairing needs. As simple as that, really. If you love cheese as I do, this is your place.

Authentic Italian sandwiches made in a small, quaint deli with limited seating, friendly service…read morethat went above and beyond to accommodate a larger group of eight. I ordered the Italiano - Genoa salami, fire roasted ham, pistachio mortadella, capicola, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, on fresh focaccia bread. I liked how the sandwiches are not too thin and not too absurdly large. It's great value and just enough food to keep you over until dinner time. Highly recommend this place and would definitely revisit in the future to try the other sandwich options. That's all

I have walked by here a million times, but have never stopped even though I have heard great…read morereviews. Today was the day to try it out! The ordering process is very easy. They have a menu board with multiple options listed. You order at the stand at the back of the store, and then our food was brought out to us even though we had ordered it to go. I am not sure if that is always the process- I was expecting to go to the counter to pick it up myself so that was a nice surprise! We ordered our sandwiches to go even though we were dining in as we knew we would be taking home leftovers. The seating area inside is no frills. They have less than 10 tables inside, and when we were leaving all of them were full with people waiting for seats. They did appear to have 2 tables outside but they were not being used as it was raining. They did have a carafe full of ice water that was self serve by the door, and they had large cups available which I appreciated! My eyes were immediately drawn to the Spicy Chicken Caesar and the Napa Club. Since this was my first time I ordered both and planned to share half of each sandwich. When I opened the Spicy Chicken Caesar I was surprised by the appearance of it. I had expected a lot more lettuce inside. It looked more like chicken salad rather than salad with chicken. The flavor was good and it was not too spicy! The focaccia was very soft. The Napa Club had great flavor to it, but when I was eating it I could really tell that there was avocado inside of it. The predominant flavor was the garlic and herb aioli. I did feel the chicken was a touch on the dry side. Overall, my experience and food were good; however, I am not sure I agree with the rave reviews. I would return in the future and would love to try some of their other meats aside from chicken, and their pasta salad also looked nice. The service was friendly and I feel like the price was fair. It's a nice addition to downtown Farmington!

I spoke this information to a very nice older lady who prepares the gift baskets here. Although she was busy doing other tasks, she walked me through the store and hand picked each item so the basket wouldn't be overly expensive but still have quality and eye appeal. She assured me that she would make the basket beautiful and that she did! When I came back a few days later to pick up the basket, I was blown away! She did an excellent job and add a few little extras that I wasn't expecting. My friend loved her basket! I forgot the kind lady's name and she wasn't there at pick up but I'd like to thank her for her excellent work.

They have certainly kept up with the times and modernized the experience. I still enjoy coming here every single time with the wonderful selections of fruit vegetables, prepared foods and specialty items. I always pick up fresh herbs as well. They have brought back the salad bar and the soup bar and it is even better. I had the chicken noodle and it was scrumptious and so comforting. Of course, I also visit the Joes meat store as well. Great service wonderful quality meats, chicken, pork, seafood, and sausage sausages. Don't forget Joe's bakery as well. This has really become a one stop shop and I love it.
