Sharing a space with an architectural firm, what you see when you first walk in, is what you get. There's not aisles and aisles of books, but that's what makes it easy to spend some time looking. The children and young adult section is a decent size, surprisingly, so it will give the kids something to do while you spend time looking. Mostly current authors, and a fair mix of biographical, non-fiction and informational, So & So does its job -- offering something different when time and boredom with the common stuff can make book shopping a chore. None of that is an issue here.

My sister and I differ greatly in that respect...she loves the in person sales and just likes to browse and find hidden treasure. I go by reviews and recommendations so searching and buying online is so much easier for me. You can only pick up your purchases at certain times and days of the week, so definitely check their website for details. All of the volunteers (?) I've interacted with have been absolutely lovely. They're so kind and knowledgeable. And if they don't know, they will find out. Last time I I got home after picking up an order, I realized that one of the books they've given me was wrong. I emailed them and they replied told to just keep the book and refunded me my money. I went today to pick up another order and the book that they were supposed to give me last time was there! No charge! That is some excellent customer service. I've been pleasantly surprised at some of books I've found. Most if not all have been in excellent condition. I'm so thrilled to support them especially since they support our library!!!

Turns out it was the old building and they were moved to a new one off Nottingham, but they were having an event in the old spot in a few days so staff was on hand to get it setup. off to the new location I go and was impressed with how organized and clean the store was. In my two stops that day, I dealt with 2 different staff members and I have to say, AMAZING! We did a quick walkthrough and skimmed through the available books. It was way too much for me to make a decision with so many amazing options, so hopefully we'll return before our trip is over. My only issue is that there are no visible prices. The bookstore attendant was just a vibrant as the store itself. So many amazing children's books that I wish were available when my children were little.

We spent a lot of time talking about many of the books and messaging. We enjoyed the conversations. This is a cute little bookstore and very comfortable. My friend bought several books for her nephew that will be born in a few months. It's a great little shopping area with other stores in the area too.
