Sadly the prices of Dollar Tree merchandise has gone up considerably the past couple of years. It is to be expected, though, because prices are rising everywhere in California. So it is not as attractive to shop at Dollar Tree stores anymore because there is less value and savings to be found at this chain store. Service was good so at this store so that was appreciated. May shop at this store from time to time in the future because of the good service I received.

But it was just a gutted out 99 cent store stocked with the same items that you'd find at any old dollar tree, just better organized I guess because now they have a bigger location and more room to stock their items... I have the receipt showing it was activated, and the PIN sticker was intact. I did contact customer service, but it took them 25 days to respond while they "investigated." In the end, they just redirected me to the vendor without taking responsibility, while Dick's did the same. Upon entering the store, I was warmly greeted by a store employee. The store's layout is big and there's a variety of items available including a frozen food section at the back of the store. When it was time to pay for my items, there were two lines with two cashiers working. The cashier who I interacted rung up purchases quickly and efficiently and thanked me for visiting the store.

Now... from a management point of view, why the hell are 3/4 people on break at one time leaving no coverage? Retrain them all. My cashier, Stasia kept a great upbeat personality even while being left for dead solo upfront. Even thou I was annoyed by the lack of efficiency at the checkout, her infectious smile still got me a crack a smile.
