Cashier Edward was incredibly friendly, funny, and so easy to talk to. He made checking out quick and effortless, and when I realized I had forgotten an item, he was so patient while I ran back to grab it. He never made me feel rushed and kept such a positive attitude the entire time. I also had the pleasure of talking with Calen in the meat department. I came in looking for filet mignon, but since they were sold out, he took the time to recommend the next best cut. Not only did he explain why it was a great alternative, but he also taught me what to look for when shopping for steaks in the future. His knowledge, friendliness, and willingness to help really stood out. Both Edward and Calen were personable, funny, and genuinely enjoyable to talk to. There was also a BOGO deal, so my brother got the Chicken Caesar Salad too. I like that there's tables outside the store, so we took a seat there. The customer service in those departments was outstanding--everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about the customer experience. I actually live on the other side of town, but I choose to shop at this location because they consistently have the best produce and always have the items I need in stock big shoutout to produce dep. So this review is about the store, although I did put a photo of some sushi. I moved over to this area about a year ago and sprouts has been the main store that I go to. They literally have everything that I need except for vegetarian lunch meat. Lol and if they do carry it, they're always out of it. Other than that, I literally go here for everything certain things might be more expensive than going to Albertsons or Trader Joe's but you're going to get better quality here and you have to watch out for the "manager's specials". I swear I live off of the manager specials. Last week I purchased 2 bottles of probiotics that are normally $56 and I only paid five dollars each. On Wednesdays, you get 5 dollar sushi. Today I went and they had pastor raised eggs, 6 for $1.50. So of course I purchased four cartons. I saw in the freezer section some dumplings for $.99. I bought them before, they were really good. I just didn't need any more of them today. So you can definitely shop here if you're on a budget. You just have to look around. You collect points every time you shop here and eventually you will have enough to turn into dollars. And you have to check your app. One time I got 30% off of all of my groceries. The store carries raw milk and cheese. I feel like the cheese is pricey, but the milk is reasonable. The staff is pretty efficient and friendly. Plenty of parking. Store is always clean. read more

Next to Trader Joe's, there's always the next place and that is sprouts farmers market in Bakersfield. I do like their produce and their meat selections. The apple sausage are something I always miss or hit with when I get there, but I enjoy the flavors of their encounters, their fruits and vegetables when they are on sale are just great to be able to get to them. Their people there are very nice and friendly and I enjoy just taking a quick trip there just to see what's on sale so that I could grab those items and go home. read more

This Asian that works here always asks "do you really need it?" When I asked for the cart for disabled people. I told him I'm having trouble signing up online because of reception issues and if I could get help. He tells me to do it myself or pull it up on my phone. As if I didn't just F U C K I N G say I can't because I get NO RECEPTION. If you don't look disabled then I'd avoid this store or him if you can. Unnecessary comments about whether I'm disabled and about trying to sign up for rewards. I WILL NEVER COME BACK, what a waste of resources on an employee who loves to disregard people with health issues that are internal. When he has a grapefruit size mass on those sorry excuse for balls, I want to know how he would feel if someone asked him if he's really disabled and really needs the cart. What could improve is setting that sorry excuse of a man straight. Not everyone have there disabilities on the outside, they're internal as well, prick. I told him to just cancel the transaction, since he's always making it difficult for me to peacefully shop. I decided to leave because he just kept scanning after I told him to cancel. While Sprouts is on a side of town I don't typically frequent, it doesn't spot me from ordering delivery! It's one of the few places in town that have La Fermiere yogurt - a pricey little yogurt treat but worth it! They also have a well stocked water aisle. We recently hosted a water-tasting and several bottles were purchased from Sprouts. The most interesting of all was Socosani still water. Sourced from Chachani Volcano in the Peruvian Andes, this water is naturally alkaline and high in silica which gives it a smooth texture but unique flavor. It almost tasted carbonated! I'm a little upset with Sprouts. The number one reason I go is for the bulk golden raisins and twice now that I've gone, they are not there. So then I decided I couldn't leave empty handed so I got some Smokehouse Turkey slices and Muenster cheese from the deli. I made a sandwich when I got home and was disappointed. The edges of the turkey were hard and difficult to chew and the turkey itself was bland with no flavor. Other than that, the store is clean and they have lots of healthier items that different grocery stores don't offer. It's also very organized and easy to find what you're looking for (unless they no longer offer it). read more

Love Sprouts! It's funny that when I go grocery shopping I forget about this grocery store. Sprouts is supposed to be an indoor farmers market, but to me it's basically another grocery store. Just like Trader Joe's I love checking out the frozen goodies sections along with the freshly made dishes that are ready to eat, cook or warm up. Produce is pretty good for the most part; however, it's very much comparable in price to other stores. I feel like I would shop here more often if I was a little closer or if I still worked nearby. It's not too far from me, but there's other stores a lot closer to me. Staff is always super friendly. They place music overhead and the store is always clean. There's times there's things mixed up, but I always see workers fixing them right away. Parking is never a problem and they have curbside. If you download the app you can get your weekly coupons on there too. read more

That kind of care really stood out. * Over at the sushi station, Moe is the star of the show. He makes the most delicious veggie rolls every time, and honestly, he's a joy to watch in action. The man has serious talent. * And in the bakery, Cat handed me a sample of the vegan chocolate chip cookie -- let's just say I was back the very next day to buy a whole bag. They have an impressive selection of health items. Many people like the Boar's Head deli meat and I've heard some rave about their salmon from the meat counter. I ordered a sandwich platter for a baby shower bc it's a busy season of life, and I phoned it in! It's a busy season of life for this Sprouts too, and they didn't see my order. So perfectly human and totally okay, but I "ran out of spoons" and nearly cried in front of the most lovely deli employees when I realized I wouldn't be taking a shower before hosting this shower bc I would now be waiting haha. WOW. The empathy in action makes me want to almost cry all over again. We love the Boars head deli meats and cheeses. The people that cut the meat and cheese do so very well. Cut to the style you want, I like thin cut for Mortadella and sandwich for the chicken breast. The provolone and imported swiss cheese are very good. We also tried the Izzio artisan sourdough bread which made the sandwiches especially good.
