I'll be honest, it's been a while since I've been so excited to post a review. Why am I so…read moreexcited? Wal-mart has done something revolutionary. It could change the way we shop for groceries, but people have to USE it for it to continue. Since I am an early adopter, I have already tried this. Let me tell you why I am so excited. Although I love people watching at Wal-Mart, I also love to save time. My wife and I timed our online grocery shopping. It took us twenty minutes to order and pay for our groceries online. Usually, this process took us more than an hour at Wal-Mart, sometimes more, if the lines were long. Walmart gave us a $10 off coupon for our first grocery order. After ordering, they give you a choice of checking a substitution product if they are out of your brand. When ordering, they give you a picture, weight and/or size of the product. You select the quantity. We ordered fruits, vegetables, and deli meat to see what the "shopper" would get us. I have two complaints here, they need to offer a choice of slice thickness for deli meat and allow coupons to be entered online. Manuel, our in store shopper, picked out very fresh, unbruised, fruits and vegetables. You pick the time and date to pickup your groceries. It is really a time slot, we picked between 1 and 2 pm. We entered our cell number online and they called us ten minutes before one. They were asking if we would be arriving for pickup at one or a little later. Pickup is on the right side of the building by the pharmacy drive thru. Manuel explained this phone call is so he could be outside waiting because he literally got the groceries right before we arrived. He also brought the groceries out of the store and loaded them into our car. Wal-Mart asks that you do not tip the shoppers. Manuel gave us a swag bag for using this service (I have attached pictures). It was tough for us imagining someone else handling our groceries, but if you think about it, the cashier touches all of them when you are checking out. This is such a time saver and eliminates the need for standing in line. Manuel told me if more people don't try this service, than Wal-mart is going to kill it. So I am writing this so everyone can try it at least once. I bet you will like it as much as I did. Go to Walmart.com/grocery

Walmart Supercenter Bernalillo, New Mexico -- Extremely Disappointing Experience…read moreI had a very bad experience at the Walmart Supercenter in Bernalillo, New Mexico, and I feel senior management and customers should know what happened. I had a special event coming up and found a bottle of wine marked down to $30. The bottle had a security device on it. After I paid for my groceries, an employee took the bottle to remove the security device. When I checked my receipt, I noticed I had been charged $42.98 instead of the advertised $30. I asked the employee if the transaction could be corrected, but he couldn't do it, so I went to customer service. That's when I also noticed that the foil covering the cork was missing. At that point, I had serious concerns about the condition of the bottle. I waited for a manager and explained that I had been overcharged and that the bottle's seal/foil had been cut. I asked if I could receive a refund. The manager refused, telling me that New Mexico law prohibits the return of alcohol. I don't believe that explanation was accurate, as I have previously returned wine at Costco and have receipts showing that. I expressed my frustration with the customer service I had received. I then went toward the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions, but it was extremely busy, so I decided not to wait. As I was preparing to leave, I thought perhaps there might be another bottle of the same wine that could simply be exchanged for the one I had concerns about. I went back toward the wine department. The manager followed me and told me that I had to leave the store. I told the manager that I wanted to speak with his manager, and he told me that he did not have a manager. I told him I had done absolutely nothing wrong and was simply trying to resolve a problem with a product I had purchased. He then threatened to call the police if I didn't leave immediately and told me I was not allowed to return to the store. I told him to call the police because, at that point, I wanted to explain exactly what had happened. I offered to return all $354 worth of groceries I had purchased, but he refused to assist me and continued telling me to leave. I was treated as though I had done something wrong when all I was trying to do was resolve an overcharge and a problem with a bottle I had purchased. The store's surveillance video should clearly show what happened from beginning to end. What makes this experience especially frustrating is that I never became aggressive, never threatened anyone, and never did anything to warrant being treated this way. I simply wanted the issue corrected. This was an absolutely unacceptable customer-service experience. Walmart needs to review the surveillance footage, investigate what happened, and address how this situation was mishandled. Customers should not be bullied or threatened with police simply because they question an overcharge and ask for help resolving a problem with a product they purchased. Very disappointing experience at Walmart

It is a…read moregreat oportunity to taste outstanding food and share a luxurious experience with someone special. However, Prairie Star is not a pretecious location so casual attire is fine. The Prairie Star's location has a fabulous view of the Sandia Mountains. We watched storms move across the horizon through out our meal. Easily want to spend time relaxing and watching the world go by. Our arrival timing was perfect for immediate seating, definitely want reservations. There are covered parking places available in the lot. The staff is well practiced and take care of you throughout the meal. The meal was fabulous. The chef put together a great combination of plates. The appetizer was a soup or salad. Both were excellent and displayed unique touches to enhance the flavors, perfect vinaigrette on the salad. For the main course, I had the sirloin steak, summer vegetables and black beans. The steak was extra tender and a flavorful as a ribeye. The pureed beans acted as a sauce to the steak. The meal also included a bottle of wine. (a white or a red) The red was great with the entire meal. Not quite sure how the white would have stood up to the beef or cioppino. The warm chocolate cake was a fine finish to the meal. The fresh fruit added refreshing flavors, neither too bitter nor too sweet.

I hadn't been to Prairie Star for over 10 years and my husband booked us an anniversary dinner…read more When we arrived it was before sunset and we were seated by a window overlooking the mountains. We had a wonderful view and were seated far enough away from the quincera party that the noise didn't impact us. Our food was great, I enjoyed the calemari and my dish, as did my husband. Our waitress was alright, but admitedly the table next to ours had a waitress that seemed to go above and beyond for her customers and knowledge of the menu. She could have trained other staff. The biggest reason for the downvote was a restroom experience. I waslked into the restroom and noticed the smell was unpleasant and the ADA stall was clogged. I went to the smaller one, but as I sat, I heard gurggling. The toliets backed up as did the drains very quickly. I managed to get out of there as fast as possible, but still got dirty feces waste all over my shoes. I immedately notified the hostess and my husdband asked for the check. Between the time this happend and we walked out the door, the sewage was seeping out the bathrooms with no signs in place and no seeming rush to correct this issue. The smell was overwhemling and I can only assuem that many others noticed. A sewage issue means the kitchen also cannot wash dishes or sanatize properly. The resturant should have notified custumers and the party, while allowing poeple to take their food home. This unfortante incident caused our night to go arry.
