customers allowed to walk around store without mask. Against state mask mandate. I counted 4 without mask. One was checking out, but cashier did nothing. Woman (without mask) getting too close to me at self checkout, I told to stay away we have a law requiring mask. Her response "they don't make me wear it here". I found a manager reported woman, ask why are you not requiring mask? her response "if reported we OFFER them a mask". I responded that's not good enough they should not be allowed to shop. They should be proactive to protect their customers. Manager left to get lady a mask. As I was walking out maskless woman (at Starbucks counter still in store) says to me I will take care of me you worry about you. I am worried about me and every other person who has health issues in the store, was my response. I will be reporting store to NM covid website. I will never step foot in this store until Covid is gone, because my personal belief is my health is in harms way. Albertsons store director needs to address this. I love this place. Just down the street from the house so if I wake up and want bacon and a pastry. It is a two minute drive. Staff have always been friendly not the best things are the deals. I was visiting a friend in the area and had to pick a few things for our dinner. I stopped by his local Albertsons Market. I've always been a fan. Upon walking in I got the scent of fresh flowers which was refreshing to my senses. It really made me want to buy a bouquet. While looking around the store to find my items, there were easy to read signs, neatly stocked shelves and with the current situation, directional signs in the aisle and on the floor to help with social distancing. The produce section was very appealing to the eyes. Also, unlike other stores, it seemed like there were not as many people. I picked up my items and proceeded to the check out area. I chose the self check out option.The lane had socially distanced squares which was a helpful reminder. One nice safety touch was the fact that the store employee in charge of managing this area took the time to wipe down each station after use; something I hadn't always seen in other stores. I quickly proceeded through the easy to use self checkout machine and grabbed my receipt exiting at the other end of the store making for a one door entry, one door exit pathway. One note is that I'd suggest is parking on the exit side(south side) and then walking to the entrance side to make it easier when leaving the store. Overall a great experience! My wife was just at this Albertsons and had the worst possible experience, she had a full basket with most of it on the checkout. Something malfunctioned the checker just looked at the equipment, never said a word, never asked for a manager. After 15 minutes still no resolution to the issue. No one at the store made any attempt to rectify the situation, like move her stuff to another register. They just kind of shrugged their shoulders. My wife left without the groceries. It will take a long time before she returns to a store with this culture of indifference. read more

Love shopping here! Fresh produce, meats, deli meats, bread, etc. They have an amazing selection of wines and beer as well as hard liquors. I love the selection of cheeses, and olives. read more

We've been shopping at the Juan tabo and candlearia store a long time and the staff is friendly and they remember us. My main reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is consistancy. I known its probably not their fault because of the supply chain but when i visit a different Albertsons they seem to have what I can't find at the Juan tabo store. They always ask if I found everything I was looking for and I haven't been able to say yes for a few years now. read more

This is the market closest to my house. I have shopped there for 4 years since I moved here and at a different Albertsons before back in California. I the past 2 months or so they have drastically raised the prices on items. My favorite cheese Danish, the small brownies, cookies and other baked goods all jumped up a full dollar or more. The price of the Boars Head meat and cheeses have increased significantly. I saw roast beef for $17 a pound! Way out of my affordability now. They no longer carry a less expensive store brand deli items. I can understand that due to increased wages, and Covid that things would be going up, but I feel gouged every time I step in the store. There are shortages of cat food, dog food, ice tea, and pasta and noodles with gaps of empty shelves. The jars of spaghetti sauce shelves were empty! Cannot get any ramen noodles. Just gone. Empty shelves! Is it a distribution thing from the wear house, a supplier issue, or something else? Anyway, my dollars are not going very far here, if I can find the items that I want. read more

This grocery looks all shiny and new with their recent renovation. New addition of organic options and gluten free products all throughout their isles as well as their fresh produce section give you better health options. They added a chicken bar in their deli with different flavored nuggets, strips, and of course fried chicken. The deli section has a good amount of side dishes to complete a quick dinner or you can grab a side to take to your next pot luck. I'm not a big drinker, but I was able to find a specialty liquor that I needed for my Thanksgiving meal, which was a nice surprise. (Huge Liquor department with a nice assortment of beer, wine, and liquor) I really like their seasonal gift section near the front of the store. It always has super cute little seasonal gifts that are unique and convenient like small plants and decorative pieces to decorate your house or give as a gifts. They also have a small post office and a new Starbucks at this location. read more

This location no longer carries good organic eggs. I know they were popular, so I am assuming it's a corporate decision. When I ask, they give me a vague kind of answer that doesn't say whether it's policy or bad ordering. Also, before COVID, Albertsons had started a no plastic bag policy. It stopped during covid but I don't understand why they don't go back to the former policy. Instead, the manager told me that people don't want it so they aren't going to do it. I find this incredible. I have shopped here for a long time, but I think it's time to move on. read more

I will not come to this location unless I desperately need to, I had ordered flowers for pick up at a later time about 6:30 pm and I asked the florist if she will still be there when I pick up the order which she had claimed "Yes". Once I arrived the check out lines were getting busy and no one was there.. of course. I waiting for customer service to try and get someone over for about 10 minutes before having to find the order myself. My other experiences here are about the same, the cashier that was ringing up my groceries was talking to their co-worker the whole time and barely said "bye" at the end. I wonder if this is just a night shift "thing". read more

I really hate writing negative reviews, but after bringing some of these issues to the attention of management and other staff more than 10 times I see no other way to effect an improvement. Twice last week we had to change our dinner plans due to moldy or otherwise inedible food. Today (Sunday 11/4) we again had to change our plans because the packaged green beans we bought Friday were moldy, though the expiration date was the 7th of November. It is quite commonplace to find food in coldcases and elsewhere that is days and sometimes a week expired (milk for instance). Bringing it to staff's attention always nets and immediate response, but days later we find the same problem. This Albertsons is handy to our house but I'm beginning to feel that the risk to our family's health makes the drive south to Smith's worth the trip. I like this Albertsons better than other area locations. The staff seems friendlier. I can always find what I'm looking for. Also the produce seems fresher, their veggie trays are better, and the store is generally clean. Plus, its the closest grocery store to Placitas (unless you count the Merch). read more

Also when I was at the meat counter I asked for the tilapia in the counter, and the lady told me I had to get it frozen. Instead of arguing with her, I settled for the frozen. The Enchanted Hills Albertsons is my usual grocery store; however, I was really disappointed last time I was in to see several customers without masks. This, despite a sign posted at the store entrance stating the governor's current mask mandate. One of the customers was a checker at the store who was off duty (buying groceries) and happily talking with co-workers who didn't seem to care that she was maskless. The manager disregarded our concerns and said she can't enforce the mandate. We think it is her responsibility to enforce the mandate. She should care enough about her customers to do so. There aren't many grocery store options in the Bernalillo area, but this Albertson's does a good job of keeping fresh produce and a variety of items stocked. It's my go to grocery store when I'm in Placitas. The folks here are always friendly. I have never had a bad experience . . . well maybe one. The last time I shopped there, it was on a Saturday. I was looking for the large package of fresh chicken wings. I asked one of the butcher's unloading the boxes of chicken. His response to me was, "We just got these in. It will be at least 90 minutes before we can help you!" Since the boxes were labeled, how hard would of it been to spend three minutes and go the extra mile? But I won't throw out the whole store for this one experience. Overall, the employees are very helpful and keep a smile on their face. read more

I have been going to Enchanted Hills Albertsons for 17 years, but recently I've been disappointed with their service. I have been using curbside delivery since March. They used to give me a list of my order with all substitutions and items unavailable until our last two trips. Last trip I was missing $100.00 of items. I did get a receipt that showed I wasn't charged for the full order, but it was annoying to not know what happened with the original request. Plus they forgot my ice cream. This is so untypical of my past experience, but I'm frustrated with this. The store that is further from my home off Ridgecrest tells you about substitutions and ensures understanding and agreement. Plus they still give the full original request paper order with an accounting of missing items. So at this point I'll stop going to Enchanted Hills, my preferred store, and go to the Albertsons on Ridgecrest. Hope that Albertsons in Enchanted Hills gets better. I just got back from Albertsons on Enchanted Hills Blvd, in Rio Rancho. I locked my purse, keys, and phone in my car. ALL of the employees there were soooo helpful. Mainly Kenny and the manager Dan. They all went above and beyond to help me with finding a locksmith and making sure I was taken care of. I will forever be grateful to them. This store has gone down so much in two years that it is hard to recognize from what it once was. All the "sharp" cashiers seem to be gone. Too many new ones that are out of the loop when it comes to customer service. "Oh, management told me..." My roommate and I have been shopping at this location for about three months and every time we have shopped we have been able to easily split the bill between our two cards. It has never been an issue. Except today. The woman working at register 6 around 5pm today was incredibly rude to my roommate and I. When I asked to split the bill in half she made a mistake and typed in that we had already paid half in cash, rather than putting both halves on cards. When she realized her mistake she blamed my roommate and I for it happening. She then called her manager over who also was very rude and also blamed us for the mistake. They publicly shamed us while going a roundabout way to fix the charges and treated us like less than people. I am very disappointed with the management and lack of training this cashier had. read more

Would rate 0 stars if possible. After waiting 21 years to be able to buy wine, I was denied by an elderly lady and then the manager because my id wasn't yet sideways. I mean your birthday is your birthday right? Also in other states all licenses are vertical. Anyhow, the manager was rude, extremely unhelpful, and couldn't give any legitimate reason other than "company policy"--I ended up just leaving because it wasn't worth my time but customer service is definitely lacking. Albertsons deli does not even deserve 1 star. I just had a horrible experience with the deli. Upon my arrival to the deli there were 2 employees talking and one of them was tapping on her phone. A few seconds after approaching the counter they continued to talk so I said "hello, excuse me?" so I could grab their attention to be helped. One of them just stared at me and the other one asked me what I wanted to order. I asked for half a pound of ham and half a pound of cheese. The deli employee completed my order and stated she had gone a little over the half a pound, was that ok? I said that was fine cause we like this brand of ham and cheese. I thanked her and grabbed the two packages and went towards the cashier to pay for my items. I noticed that one deli bag was lighter than the other so I asked the cashier (Season) to weigh it on her scale at the register. She mentioned the weight is on the label (.53 lbs) for both ham and cheese. I said I understand but I would like for her to check the weight again since one feels lighter than the other. Upon weighing the cheese it actually weighed .30 lbs not .53 lbs as stated on the label that was done by the deli. I immediately asked for the manager and said this was very poor service your deli employee is stealing from a regular customer just because I interrupted her conversation with the other employee to ask for help/service. Be Advised: be careful not to get the deli employee upset they might over charge you for your items! Will not be going back there again. This is one of those reviews that I wish I could give half stars. It doesn't quite deserve a 4, but it's not a complete 3 either. I have shopped at the location on Southern, although it was further to my house than this one and the Ridgecrest location. However sadly it closed down, so I needed to find a new shopping location. I refuse to shop at walmart, and I really don't like shopping at smiths and contributing to a union corporation. So I have equally been going to this albertsons and the Ridgecrest location to find my new store. And this store definitely is better than the Ridgecrest location. Aisles seem better planned out, staff seems friendly. So far so good, haven't had a real problem with this location. Doesn't seem to do as many manager specials on grocery items as my old store. Staff hasn't let me down or really grabbed my attention so far, so it's eh. You have to actually clip the coupons from your ad at this location, I'm used to the cashiers just scanning ones from a paper they kept with them at the register. Don't forget to ask for a rain check on sale items that they run out of stock, it's good for 30 days! I'm glad that this store is here since mine is closing down, I would've had a terrible time choosing between the Ridgecrest location or smiths if mine still had closed. Thus location is doing a good job at keeping me as a buyer. Not sure why the alcohol is the whole middle section of the store read more

I gave this one 2 stars only because they aren't as rude as the other one..BUT the seafood department people are sooo rude, once weighing out things the guy says he is over is that ok??? Um no it's not, he was just rude and didn't want to wait on us at all... Unless there is a sale no need going there way over priced, and the whole buy 1 get 2 free while the price of 1 makes up for 5 and they run this advertising gimik all the time or buy 1 get 1 free yet the price is over priced such as Tyson back running 8 bucks a pack is crazy They need to try another sales approach because overpaying for 1,2 or 3 packs of meat is insane ... read more

After about 6 attempts & more then 10 phone calls I still haven't seen the product I need from the store. No one calls you back & none of the employees know their products.
