Along the way, I came across very cute sandals, some habanero mango chips & a couple stuffed animals for my dog Lexi. I don't know why I forget that they have a great section for animals! They also make returns super easy as I ended up returning my affirmation cards - they were close to what I'm looking for but not quite right. Lately when we stop it seems as if they are getting way out of wack with their prices. We noticed for awhile now someone is getting crazy pricing things. They seem to start off with $2.95 no matter if it even came from the dollar tree. I've seen items that were originally cheaper than their asking price. Not only are you paying more for most items they ask when you check out if you want to round up to the next 1$!! I personally would not mind if prices were cheaper. They do however have one tag they discount I think weekly. Most the time your Lucky to find one or 2 items that color. Of course we know everything is donated so why be greedy asking such high prices. I wouldn't even stop here but it's close enough to my Moms house so it's easy to stop in. Ive even been here when a few people have made the comment they were too expensive and walked out. There is plenty of parking . The donation area you pull on the side to the rear of the building. The help is usually nice to deal with. I guess we will stop coming as often and maybe someone will take over the pricing and the word will get around fast, right now best to go if your looking for something in particular you might but get lucky.

So, when we were in Milton and saw there was one with the actual pig statue out front there was no question, we had to go. Honestly, the statue alone made it worth a stop. And yes, people were staring at us as we did our photo op but you only live once. It was silly and nostalgic. This is one of the oldest grocery store chains around and you definitely feel that old school vibe when you walk in. It's not fancy but it's somewhere in between a convenience store and a grocery store, which is interesting. They had a lot of unique snacks that we didn't see other places and a couple of good deals too. I will say the vibe through us off a bit. There were multiple people soliciting in the parking lot and the area right around the store felt a little rough. It's next to a trailer park or something and the overall energy just felt off. Not dangerous or anything, just uncomfortable enough that we didn't want to hang out for too long. It's a shame too because they had a buffet inside which was wild but it was super cheap and if we had felt more comfortable, we probably would have tried it but instead we took our photos, grabbed a few snacks for the road and headed out. This isn't really a place I would come to regularly, but it was a cool novelty stop and I absolutely loved the New Orleans Big boys gooey cakes in mint chocolate that I got here. It's my new addiction. I would probably come back just for that.

This cute, southern, country-style supermarket is exactly what you'd hope for from a hometown market. It's cozy, warm and feels like a step back in time in the best way possible. There's a comforting, neighborly vibe that's hard to find these days. But let's talk about what really won me over: their buffet food. Oh. My. Goodness.!! At just $6.99/lb, this buffet is an absolute steal--and everything I tried was piping hot and freshly made. I won't even bother listing it all, but just know... I loved every single bite!! The potato wedges were seasoned to perfection, the fried chicken was golden and flavorful, and the catfish? Incredible. Just look at the photo I took of my container... Every bite was better than the last. I even left wishing I had grabbed a second container, because there were still entrees and side on that buffet line I didn't get to try. Next time, that's the plan. Two containers without caring what others think! Lol. The only tiny downside? I really wanted to buy a souvenir t-shirt but they didn't have my size in stock. Still, that didn't take away from what was an all-around amazing experience. I truly wish we had a Piggly Wiggly down by me. Until then, I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. The wine selection is ok, kitchen tools are better, but the best part for moi is the global arts & crafts inventory they sell from all over the planet. Unusual stuff you just don't find anywhere else. We travel a lot so it's fun to find something cool here you love from another country you have visited. I have gotten some really cool hand made art, pillows & a mexican style hammock that I love from here.
