I was very excited to shop here, I drove over 40min to this location. The store looks very cute, a little cluttered and it is a bit had to get around since some of the displays are so close to one another, especially in front of the cheese fridge. I was not greeted or acknowledged by any of the 3-4 employees I saw or stood right in front of. I was treated at checkout. They have some very nice displays, and a decent selection of grass fed meats. Produce selection was not great. I was surprised the seasonal section was lacking. I did not find raw milk. I know not many places carry it but if you call yourself "fresh market" fresh milk would make sense. I really wanted this store to wow me and I hoped it would be my new go to. But unfortunately i don't think I'll go back. I purchased two cookies from the cookie bar and both were disgusting, stale and rock hard. Please see video I saw a lot of questionable products for a store calling themselves a "fresh Market" and claiming to carry "the finest foods and ingredients from around the world." I found some very concerning chips (XOCHITL) on a huge end display containing: Palm Olein Oil, FD&C Red 40, FD&C Yellow 5, FD&C Blue 1 How? I do t know but it was disappointing. I've been meaning to pop in and check this place out for quite some time now. This is a chain that does not have a footprint in California, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, the place is a pleasure to visit. Perusing the aisles just after opening one morning I found a clean, organized store with some wonderful looking prepared foods as well as some staples and prepackaged food that seemed to be of superior quality. The thing is, the prices reflect this. I bought some sale items and am happy with them. I will likely return from time to time to see what looks good at a reasonable price. Established in 1821 by Girolamo Luxardo and still entirely controlled by the same founding family. Luxardo Original Maraschino Cherries are used in the worlds' best bars and by the most famous mixologists as garnish in cocktails. Candied cherries soaked in Luxardo marasca cherry syrup. No preservatives & the dark red color is all natural, ideal over ice cream & is the key ingredient in my mothers/grandmothers pineapple upside down cake recipe. And it was amazing y'all! Like to pay top dollar for rancid meat and get refused when you ask for a refund? Then boom son, you're in luck with "Fresh" Market on Airport Blvd in Pensacola, Fl. I cannot believe the butcher wrapped and sold me a piece of pork that smelled like what I can only describe as an unprocessed cadaver. Going to see what the Health Department will do to prevent this from happening again. This is the second time "Fresh" Market on Airport Blvd in Pensacola Fl has sold me rancid products. The first time it was "fresh" Atlantic Codfish. it took over 24 hours for the stench to leave the vehicle. I I brought the "fresh" fish back immediately and the manager tried to convince me to just replace it with more rancid Cod. After trying a few places for meats and cheeses Costello's (EXCELLENT) Four winds "international" market (SHUT IT DOWN!, out dated meats, gnats and moldy loose wrapped cheese.) the fresh market is my go to! It must be four winds go to as well, one of their employees said the owners and "business consultant" go to fresh market to take pics and steal their ideas. Who does that??? I love Fresh Market stores , they remind me of Sprouts which I really miss in moving here..Their meat counter is awesome everything looks so fresh and they have a few smaller counters around the store..the deli has so many different salads, sandwiches, ribs, chicken, it looks yummy.. The bakery is large for such a small store and everything we have gotten there is so tasty..yesterday it was half a strawberry and rhubarb pie only half cause that's all they had left.. They have a sushi counter and we have eaten there as well, there is a small space in front of the store with tables ,napkins etc..their wine section is extensive, and those flowers when you first walk in are gorgeous..all the produce is beautiful, all stacked perfectly..I only wish they had one closer to my home like right in town.. read more

Not a bad store, we don't have a lot of options in Pensacola. But this is in a horrible location. So far north from downtown, and located at a horrible, crowded intersection. Getting in, out, and around the small, poorly laid out parking lot is miserable. Once you walk up, you're greeted with seasonal goods, whether it be spring plants and flowers or pumpkins for fall; it's always welcoming. Once inside, you walk through a garden of flowers straight to produce and the coffee bar. If you are wanting to disrupt your regular grocery shopping experience with relaxation and a cup of coffee, come here. The staff is always friendly, the store always clean, and they generally have great food. Yesterday I tried a Ruben from the deli, and it was the perfect snack. This was the first organic market we visited since moving down from VA. Selection of organic food was ok. The price was about the same if not more expensive than the food back in Loudoun County. For that I give it three stars. They lost two stars because the service there is probably the worst I've experience from a grocery store. One time I literally stood there in front of the rotisserie chicken for 10 min before someone acknowledged me and asked me what I wanted. The meat section was pretty much the same. I was in Fresh Market today getting a few things for dinner , when I came across a dog by the hot foods where the Rotisserie chickens and mac & cheese etc. He was scratching like crazy and had defecated diarrhea all over the floor ! His human owner didn't even say anything to me as I walked by ! Good thing I had looked down or I would have stepped in dog shit !! I'm all for service animals! This shaggy dog was not in any red vest ! He had 2 people with him . One needed to stay out in the car with him! I called and talked to the manager there and he basically said they were allowed. I find that hard to believe so I googled it . It says they are not ! Your store needs to put a Sign stating no animals allowed unless they are a service animal! That does not mean emotional animal either ! I hope to see a sign in the future until then I may be going to Publix ! I know they don't allow them . read more

Every sunday when I was in Miami, I'd go to the Fresh Market, fight the gawking crowds, who stare at the cheese, and deli foods, now not much has changed, The shoppers still gawk at cheeses and pastries. The Butcher shop there is quiet the same as in Miami; however, sadly Miami's fish market far exceeds the Pensacola's Fresh Market. Fresh Market is not a health food store, nor an all organic market, it's one of many new up scale markets, that is far more welcoming then Winn Dixie or Publix. the quality of food, floral and wine here is exceptional, and you will pay for it. But, think of it this was were paying for a Government that is far from exceptional, so live well and shop! read more

Relaxing shopping environment. The lights are always really dark, and nobody will ever ask you if you need help, I feel like the only time I see employees is when I check out. I usually go there and put around for 10 minutes before checking out two kombuchas and some cookies. Very fancy supermarket. Full of imported goods, the staffs were very nice; and I liked the ambiance. The Fresh Market was a little pricey.

This is now my place for groceries. This is the BEST meat department, hands down. The butcher cuts my roasters for me and their chicken is free range, antibiotic free. I get one for every Sunday meal. They have Maryland Crabcakes BOGO tomorrow. Every Saturday is Seafood day. For the July 4 they have a feed 4 special with their gourmet burgers and Brioche buns and all the fixings. Yummy! Every Tuesday is antibiotic free chicken breasts and ground sirloin for $2.99/lb. The deli carries a large selection of prepared foods you will love something there, I promise. Organics are fair priced, fruits, eggs. The milk selection is small, so I do buy that elsewhere from a local dairy that carries raw organic milk. Great place to go for lunch when out and about. The coffee, nut and sweet selections are great! Fresh cut flowers and herbs. The prices for me are right on target with the other local groceries but the quality and customer service is higher here. read more

There are fresh seafood, chicken, deli, desserts and organic fruits & vegetables. I bought lump crab cakes for my husband. He said they were better than the restaurant. Really good place to get those hard to find organic specialty foods. They can be a bit pricey but I guess its warranted. I go especially for their salad bar.
