I don't know that we actually saw any items that were for sale for one dollar, but there were a lot of things that were $1.25, $1.50, etc. So not true to the name, but still bargain items. There were also a number of items I noticed that had no price tag or label... not sure if that means they cost a dollar or they just didn't have a tag. A little confusing. There were a lot more categories of items than I expected to see... Everything from food to cleaning supplies to craft supplies to seasonal decor to hair care. I didn't have a lot of interaction with staff, but the gal that rang us up at the register was pleasant and friendly.

So if you want something in bulk, check out the website, too. They can deliver to the store for free shipping. They've also started selling actual food in freezers at the back (they used to just have shelf stable chips, candy, etc). I haven't ventured into the frozen section and I'm not sure I ever will, but just know it's there. If you've never ventured into Dollar Tree, definitely give it a try at least once. Is it going to blow your socks off with quality and selection? Probably not. But it's pretty amazing to see what they can sell for a dollar!

It is clean and stocked and worth the extra blocks drive to be able to visit with my children without being cussed at or infected with COVID.

And service was very efficient and friendly. The clerk made sure the glassware my wife bought was packed correctly to minimize breakage. There's a lot of bigger name stores around here but it's nice touch to mix it up with a dollar store as well and this place gets plenty of traffic. Not everything is well priced but if you know what's what you can save a lot here. Much like Save A Lot. One of the nicest Dollar stores I've been to in ages.

My son picked up a wireless keyboard and mouse for $20! Brand new in the box. We found them online for $65 minimum!! They also have a large number of bikes of all kinds and sizes, kids ride on toys, baby items, patio furniture, home decor, and small kitchen appliances. You name it, they probably have it. If not, just ask and the owner will try and get it for you. They get new merchandise in regularly so it's worth stopping in to see what's new. From the moment I entered the store, she didn't say a single word or offer any assistance. Throughout the entire checkout process, the only thing she said was, "Here's your receipt." That's it... I understand Dollar General isn't a high-end store, but that doesn't excuse the lack of basic customer service or general kindness. For someone in a leadership role like AGM, not caring at all about customers is unacceptable. She either needs serious training, a demotion, or to be replaced entirely. Very disappointing.
