Two of the last three visits we've left without our prescriptions because of the line. This last time was the final straw. I sat in line (without moving) for almost ten minutes. Next thing I know, a lady from the pharmacy is outside telling me I need to leave because they're closing. She went along and told all the cars behind me the same thing - we needed to leave the line and go inside to get our prescriptions. If the pharmacy is closing, which is why we need to leave the line, why are we able to get the prescriptions inside, then? The former pharmacy entrance is now closed to customers and used for curbside pickup only, so you have to park at the opposite end of the store then walk the complete length of the store to get to the pharmacy. There's a handicapped placard on my car for a reason! I can't walk that far! I was in line well before their closing time and wasted all that gas for nothing. I had to leave without my prescription. If they won't help people after a certain time, even though they were in line before closing, then they need to have the person put out traffic cones to close the line off before they close so they can serve people who are in line before they close. And closing at 6:00 is ridiculous!

They offer free coffee on your way in. They also provide the little ones with miniature shopping carts for their enjoyment. Most of the employees are very nice, specifically a few of the register ladies, the deli lady, and the butcher. All have been helpful when I needed it.

Here - we just put out the bulk packaging and pallets. You can get it out. Aisles look like someone ripped into Sam's Club items - oh wait... that's intentional. Want your items bagged? No worries. We have tables for you to do it yourself after we scan things - or you guessed it - you can scan them. Aldi is genius! Lower price because they don't have to hire as many employees... and people love it. It is so successful that other industries and concepts should take note. Imagine a Chipotle where you can make your own burrito, you can bag it, and they would just weigh it. C'mon!! Monroeville Aldi is well done though! Private huge lot.
