One of the buildings on the property is Hams & Jams Country Market, which is very different and separate from Loveless Cafe, which is two buildings away. Hams & Jams Country Market is a great place to walk through and kill time while waiting for your notification that your table is ready at Loveless Cafe. Hams & Jams Country Market has a lot of country themed gifts, including items to decorate your or someone else's home, various types of foods, like preserves, jams, biscuit mix, bacon, and a lot more. R got a cup of hot coffee while he was in the market, and he said that there were a variety of coffees, lattes, and other hot drinks. While we were in the market, very helpful employees walked around asking just about all of the customers if they could help them look for something.

Not only is the store well stocked, but it is also a lot cleaner, less cluttered and staffed with friendly folks! My most recent visit found me picking up a few more things than I was after because I was able to shop the aisles without tripping over boxes and looking at empty shelves. Overall, they have stepped it up at this location recently and I will happily swing back through when the need arises!

They have all the standard spots such as bakery, sandwiches, hot bar, Murray's cheese, seafood, meats, pharmacy, etc...While I do appreciate all the goods and space in the extra large/long aisles, I do wish they would have left a little more room for the checkouts/registers. This space can and does get backed up easily. Service has been decent so far. The cashiers are nice, not talkative, but friendly and the baggers are helpful, efficient and friendly as well. Parking is plentiful, as this Kroger is in a shopping center, so if you can't get something right in front, you have many rows and spots to choose from. One of my only grips is the lack of small carts/buggies. They have plenty of the large buggies, but only a handful of the smaller ones. Overall, this is a solid Kroger that is well kept and well stocked. I sit closer to the Kroger on Charlotte Ave, but absolutely do not mind going a few extra miles for this spot!

Instead of sending someone from their store to our house we had to go back there and get a kit to take pictures of the mattress, then fill out a long form, take the pictures, then return these to the store. We waited a week for the mattress company to reply and they did say the mattress was clearly faulty, which we already knew. But the catch is, if you exchange the mattress, you have to pay a $60 delivery fee. Even though this is listed in the paperwork, I don't believe that free delivery of a faulty mattress is really free delivery. We corresponded with the owner, and he was nice, but felt like he blamed it on the mattress company, and kind of blew us off. We won't shop there ever again as we can't trust them to deliver us a good product.
