One of the best Publix locations I've been to, and I've been to many. The customer service is amazing and many people asking how you are and how to help throughout the store. Selection of fresh food and ingredients = wonderful! Look at those bundles of live herbs.... absolutely vibrant. Most grocery stores the herbs are dying as they don't take care of them. I have never met a Publix I haven't adored in this city, and the one in Bellevue is no exception. Their produce is always fresh, and the aisles are incredibly well-organized. Service is bar none, and random workers will occasionally just ask you how your day is going. From the baggers to the cashiers, there is not a single employee at this Publix I haven't had a pleasant experience with. I know several individuals who go to Publix solely for their ready meals. You can get anything from their hot bar, including chicken tenders and potato wedges which is my friend's personal go-to. I'm partial to their deli sandwiches although you will have to wait if you go on the weekend. Be sure to also check out their sushi bar for fresh eats daily. Publix also has the best generic brands for affordable prices. They make everything from pancake mix to snacks and other accoutrements. Definitely come here for the produce, products, and genuinely kind employees. read more

They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results. If that's true then I must be nuts. I have ordered a sandwich from this deli about a dozen times and every single time I get to the store at the pickup time the sub is never ready. Not only is it never ready, I end up waiting at the deli for an extra 10-15 minutes while they make the sandwich. The most recent occurrence was today when I had to wait an extra 20 minutes after the allotted pickup time and finally the Publix employee brought out the sub (the store was not busy there was about 15 people in the entire store). If take into consideration when I ordered the sandwich it was almost an hour before the sandwich was ready. A whole hour to make a sandwich. A whole hour to put some turkey on a piece of bread. TLDR: If you want something from this deli, order it in person. They don't take online orders seriously. Update: it's been 3 months since I got my last sub. Just tried to order one to see if this deli got any better. They did not. My sub was ready 25 minutes after the pickup time. read more

mainly reviewing this because after clicking at the little X to close the "now review this" several times I managed to not hit it. However, that said... Publix is an interesting chain, their pricing leads you to believe you're saving money, you're generally not... at least on what I am seeing. The printed "savings" are based off of something unrelated to chain store pricing. So, you're generally paying more, but I'll say this, you're getting more too a lot of times. The staff are helpful - you know how many times I have sought them out to ask where something is? None... you want to know how many times they saw that look on my face of "he don't know that of which he shops" thrice... two out of 3 times they directed me to the right place and area, the other time they got me right next to the right area so still, cheers... I do feel strange sometimes with them wanting to help me to the car... it was needed once (and appreciated) when I was limping like a fool due to an injury, but a little odd afterward. About 6 months ago me and the wife were there and there were maybe 2 lines open at this point, we had infinity items so were not going to go to the 20 items or less self checkout. We were behind a couple who had just had a child and were using WIC but were pretty unfamiliar with how to do it. The cashier helped them through each step, having the bagger return several products and exchange them for WIC approved items. The wife had wandered off for a bit in search of a product that phonetically sounds like Keen-wah but I can't remember the spelling of, and I was finding some of the discussion in front about what items are wic and what are not actually interesting. I guess we must have been there for a while, I don't know, I flipped through some magazines and was not in any real hurry and the wife had canvased the store for something else and she got back and the people in front of us were finally done, having evidently saved an additional $70 or so due to the person taking the time to help them. The store manager (or shift manager, I don't know) came over and apologized after the new family left for our wait and told us to come back and get something from him next time we were in (seems like a free quart of ice cream or something) - we both told him we did not have any problem with the wait we had, I really had not noticed how long we had been waiting and I learned a lot. I left feeling that at the heart of it any wait I had been in was involved in helping someone else and not due to training issues, price check failures, etc. So yeah, you're going to pay a little more for some items, their generic equ are often times more expensive than the name brands that are right next to them, but really, it's a good store. read more

It was nice to move to Nashville and discover a Publix here. A HUGE staple in Florida, it brings a piece of that "home" feeling people crave. The deli proudly serves Boar's Head meats, the only deli meat I'll eat due to their high standards. I feel Publix takes a lot of pride in their store-brand products. There is only one product I have tried that I didn't care for, and it still wasn't horrible. They have also carried a wide range of organic products (including their own brand), long before other chains caught on to the movement. From foil to their "Greenwise" organic veggie pizza - I'm in. This store is always clean and well-stocked. During a shopping trip I am often greeted, asked if I need help finding anything, and warmly received at check out. On more than one occasion, employees have gone above and beyond my expectations. It's so nice to see their faces week after week. Unfortunately, this location has lost two stars due to the actions of one manager this past fall. The short of it - I put in a request for an item, and asked someone to call me either way to advise of the verdict. (I know I can get this product directly, but didn't want to order it if Publix was willing to start stocking it on their shelves.) I followed up THREE times in three months about the status. At last check, the Customer Service Rep detected I was somewhat frustrated with the run-around, and kindly offered to page a manager. I waited 15 minutes before he showed (which was frustrating to the poor CSR too!). His poor choice of words, obvious lack of caring, and flippant attitude were completely disgusting to me and my husband, and unbecoming of a manager - much less a Publix manager! Typically behavior such as that will warrant my never visiting there again, and telling everyone and their brother about it too. I sure have been talking about it, but do continue to shop there for all the positives that jerk cannot ruin. Recently, my neighbor, who happens to be a Publix manager for another location, heard this story and found it deeply upsetting. Since, he has spent so much time trying to get my product request in his store. I am truly, truly appreciative of his efforts. read more

This Publix exemplifies the slogan used by Publix of 'Where Shopping is a Pleasure'. I remember hearing this as I grew up as a kid living in Tampa but never really understood or appreciated it until patronizing this store while living in Nashville. Publix is higher priced than most other local grocers but it is one of those things, you get what you pay for. You will not find a better cut and selection of meats or fresher vegetables, bakery and deli items than you will find at Publix. But, what makes this and all other Publix standout in our mind is the amazing service they offer. Most other stores have a continuous turn-over of staff but we have met Publix employees who have been with the company for 18 to 30 years and still love their jobs and the company. That is evident in their interaction with their customers. While we have never had an experience that was not amazing two instances come to mind to illustrate why Publix is so much better than any of it's competitors in the area of Customer Service. 1. I was looking for an over the counter pharmacy item that the local Walmart was out of stock on. I was having difficulty finding what I was looking for when the Pharmacist asked from over the counter if she could help. Instead of pointing me to an isle or area of the store she instead came out and retrieved three different options of the item I was looking for and gave me the features and benefits of each one helping me make a selection. 2. My wife was looking for a dairy free chocolate and we could not find what we were looking for. A gentleman came down the isle we were in and asked if we were finding everything ok and we told him what we were looking for. He told us it was on the other side of the store and he would be right back. He returned with several options of what we were looking for and was able to tell us the price of each one he brought back to show us. My wife choose the one she wanted and he thanked us for shopping Publix and asked if there was anything more we were looking for. I told him we wanted to look at the prepared salads and he led us over to that area and handed us off to a staff member who made the various salads before leaving to replace the chocolate options we did not select. WOW! As we left the store we were commenting on the amazing service and how in other stores finding a staff member to help is difficult but then they tell you it is not their department or are not helpful. I remarked that our shopping experience today was a real pleasure. I recalled the advertising slogan I grew up hearing and thought this is what they were talking about. read more

This has become my go to grocery store, especially post-covid19. The staff is all extremely friendly and helpful. I see them all constantly wiping down shopping carts and credit card machines. They are always stocked with everything I need. Doreas (I'm sure I'm butchering her name) is an absolutely doll. If you have the opportunity to be in her check out lane, you won't be disappointed. I love thIs Publix. Everyone here is very friendly and the selection is huge. Especially with the self-checkout, this is an easy location to go in and out very quickly. I have been frequenting this publix for 16 years and have never once had a bad experience. I tend to come here for the bakery and deli, and have never once been let down by their products. I will get a sub from the deli once a month or so. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. The deli staff are always efficient and polite, and the food always good. The bakery serves a variety of house baked and outsourced desserts all of which are delicious. Would highly recommend this publix to anyone. read more

My favorite location! The employees here really work as a team, and the service is so good, it almost felt like I was shopping in the 1950's. This is one of two stores in all of TN where I would buy fish; being from the California Coast, most of the fish in TN looked...questionable. But the fish here is good. And so is the deluxe seafood salad ~ oh how I miss it! Their meat is also great, and the meat manager will come out and make sure you have what you're looking for, ask what you'll be cooking & suggest an alternate cut or teach you about the pearling of fat and how it will translate to your meal. Also, he reminds me of Mel Brooks, and is a pure joy to talk to. The cashieres & baggers remember you, they work together as a team and get their customers taken care of. It's a pleasure shopping here until you try to turn left out of the parking lot. But other than that, it's great! read more

Hands down, one of my favorite places to buy groceries. The customer service at this Publix is unrivaled. From helping you out with your groceries (no tips allowed!) to custom-packaging meat in the amount that you want, their employees are friendly, proactive, and knowledgeable. It's our go-to grocery store, and the employees now know us by name. In addition to the customer service, the products are also excellent. The produce is very fresh, there are a lot of great options that you can't find anywhere, and the food is very well-taken care of. Plus, if you don't find what you're looking for, they'll order it for you! And the deli is wonderful. There is an endless selection of meat and cheese, and the prepared foods are great. Their freshly-prepared sandwiches are my last-minute dinner solution all the time! Ask for Barbara to make your sandwich if she's there; she's so friendly, and takes extra time to make your sandwich perfect! Friend just moved to this neighborhood and we have been stocking his place up, hitting all the stores around here and grabbing coffee. This store had a FANTASTIC variety of meats and lamb, pork chops, sausage, lamb shoulder.. veal breast. wow... I wonder why this neighborhood has such a great Publix. Definitely the best of the three grocery stores at Nipper's Corner (Kroger's and WalMart Neighborhood Market are the other two). Store is always clean, shelves are well organized, prices are marked. Friendliest staff of the three groceries as well. There is also a branch of US Bank inside the store, not open though all the same hours as the store itself. But the US Bank is open a few hours on Saturday and Sunday which is useful if you need to do some in-person banking. Like when you have to get change for your yard sale, that kind of thing. read more

I don't know why I am reviewing a grocery store, and a chain at that, however I love Publix the most and I feel it needs some yelp love. Good * The friendliest staff you can imagine. I've never been without at least one person asking me if I needed any help. Even better they always know where to find something. If you ask for help with something you don't get blank stares or puzzling looks when you are searching for that unknown item in your ingredients list. * If they don't have something you want, just ask, they will order it and keep it in stock. I asked for a specialty craft beer and now whenever I visit it is always in stock. * The lines are never long and most of the staff actually know how to bag groceries. * Even the shoppers seem more pleasant here. * There are always carts or hand baskets available. Its incredible how many other places overlook this simple requirement. * Publix subs!!! Why are these so good? I don't know. It is just a deli sub. It doesn't make any sense. Give them all to me + extra Cubans. * Also, the subs. Not as Good * Prices are a little higher than some other popular grocery stores. I tend to offset this by buying Publix brand items whenever possible. The quality is just as good and they are probably even the same as the name brand items minus the higher price to justify marketing costs. * Wish they were open later. I cry when it is after 10PM and i am forced to visit another establishment. I used to loathe grocery shopping but Publix makes it at least tolerable. Hi five for them. read more

I love you, Publix. I love you, so much. So very much. You see, Publix just tries harder. It's clean, it's orderly, it's fresh. It has that thing called PRIDE. I really can't deal with dirty Kroger anymore. How can I love you, Kroger, when you don't love yourself? I've tried. I really tried. Having worked in a Publix when I was in high school, I have a little insider information as far as the standards and expectations and I have to say this is the best managed Publix with the friendliest staff I have ever experienced. This is a Publix just like any other I've been to. Excellent customer service that's always willing to help. If they don't know the answer to something they'll ask someone else before saying I don't know. Aisles are always clean and stocked. A lot of people think that Publix is expensive and I agree but only to a certain extent. They are constantly running sales, including bogo deals that make them cheaper than Walmart for a lot of items. Their produce section is always fresh. Their meats are definitely higher priced then most places but I've noticed that they don't have as much fat hidden underneath. I usually start my shopping here with the sales and end up getting my meats and a few odds and ends at another store. I still give them 5 stars just for the simple fact that Publix is one of the only places I can shop without feeling stressed out and the parking lot is not a death trap. read more

Buy One Get One deals are prevalent. Associates are always very courteous and helpful. A manager even went out of his way to pick up something that I had dropped, something insignficant ( like a handwipe or sales paper), didn't have to be at this location.
