Nothing out of the norm here with this TJ Maxx location. Parking wasn't as bad as i thought it would have been during the holiday visit that I made. Now the stores condition would be a 3 because of the holidays rush - other than that normally a decent four star. They really didn't have what we were searching for which sucks because TJ normally has great pricing on items that cost more.

The store had lots of bins in the aisles, for product needing to be put on shelves, so it made it harder to maneuver comfortably around the store and around other guests. I was almost ready to leave empty handed, when I wandered by the toy aisle, then I hit the mother load. I walked out with cabbage patch dolls, frozen 2 toys and Outdoor sand toys. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. I frequent this location every other weekend.

Over the last 6 months or so, we've had to watch carefully to make sure things ring up correctly, because they routinely don't automatically honor sales. Today we bought 3 things that were on sale. Not one of them rang up correctly. I had actually taken pictures of the sale signs to show them at the register because I knew it was going to happen. I can't remember the last time it didn't. They always give you the sales price IF you tell them. But this happens ALL the time. There's just no way this is not on purpose. It's shady and dishonest, and we're done. Goodbye Target.

As anyone who has been to a Sam's Club knows, the safety straps for children in the cart catch on the other carts when they are inserted into each other. This is well known, so why doesn't Sam's Club do something to fix it? Then on customer service, if you buy something that needs to be retrieved from the electronics cage, there is never an employee there to retrieve it. There's no button or way to call an employee so you have to wait around for minutes until you can get attention of an employee who always acts annoyed. In contrast, Costco has a friendly staff member waiting at their electronics room to retrieve your purchased item. Next pet peeve is one against customers. Customers leave the shopping carts in the corrals every which way resulting in shopping carts sticking out into the drive lanes. It only takes three seconds to insert the shopping cart into an existing line of carts...if we all would just do that. Lastly, the traffic and how you have to drive into and out of this Sam's Club absolutely needs to be reworked. And it feels like Sam's doesn't care about these issues. If Costco were more convenient, Sam's would never again see me.

I could've stayed in there for hours, but we were there looking for car chargers. We found what we needed & headed to check out. We checked ourselves out and were out the door. The staff didn't speak or ask to help while we were there. I guess it's good we didn't need them for anything, huh. The ones near the registers were engulfed in their own conversations & cellphones. I see that a lot these days. Regardless of that, I would come back because it's organized and clean. It's so many cute things that I'd love to buy for myself and my family.

And when I wanted to use the cashier as she was just standing there at a register, and she said, "Self-checkout is open". I asked her if she could ring me up, and once again, "self-checkout is open". I asked assisting customers was part of her job description, and her response, "everybody is entitled to their opinion." I asked her if she gets an employee discount for working here. to which she replied, "It's a small one." So I asked, if her job duties include working the register, and she replied, "everybody is entitled to their opinion." And I asked her, if her duties include working the register to which she gets paid, and a discount, why should I do it for free, to which she once again replied, "everybody is entitled to their opinion". If Five Below raised all the prices on items, so it is now $25 below, and I am paying more, why should I also be a FREE employee while in the store. Only after I told the employee that I would just drop everything right there and walk out did she agree to ring up the items. What is wrong with the employees were they feel too entitled to do their job? Why do stores keep employees that feel as if they are too entitled to do their job when there are so many other people willing to work there. #525
