Customers really need to pay attention to expiration dates when using Walmart curbside pickup. In…read moremy experience, employees appear to pull the items closest to expiration first. I placed a curbside order on May 16, 2026, and was given a product that expired in January 2026. That is completely unacceptable and presents a legitimate health concern. To Walmart's credit, the refund was issued immediately, but that does not change the fact that expired food should never make it into a customer order in the first place. There is also a chronic issue with missing items and damaged canned goods arriving with large dents in the sides. At this point, we avoid ordering produce entirely through curbside because quality control has been consistently unreliable. My hope is that Walmart sees feedback like this and takes it seriously, because customers should not have to inspect every item in an order just to ensure it is safe and undamaged.

Almost as if she wasnt aware of her surroundings. I thought she may have been on drugs or alcohol but im not sure, she was a middle age hispanic lady and for some reason, when i asked her about a price, she asked to see my phone. It was so odd, i was taken back but i showed her and she grabbed it from my hand and started scrolling. Finally i asked her for my phone back and she kept typing something on my phone... it was so weird. She then handed my phone back and the jewel app was closed and my gallery was open. I asked her what she did and she said i gave you the dollar off. I dont even know what she was talking about. I took my groceries and left. I should have spoken to a manager but i had things to do and this was a couple weeks ago. Anyways, never hand your phone to a store employee... i dont know what she did or was looking at... everything was closed on my phone except the gallery and pictures of my wife and kids. So fkn weird! Lesson learned. Ill never check out with her again or hand my phone to an employee. Way tooo trusting on my part.

Specialty items like gluten-free items can be mixed in with regular items, set off by themselves, or both. So, finding them wasn't that easy. From what we read of Woodman's before going, the did get good reviews on the amount and variety of gluten-free products. The same can be said for anything dairy-free. Their TV commercials talk about their great prices. I agree the items we saw on sale tended to be bargain, but the rest of the store seemed high. They are probably less expensive than Jewel, but more expensive than Valli Produce. We did get a lot while we were there and the total price was higher than we expected. So, overall, if you check their website for items on sale and you are near to a Woodman's, then by all means, the value is great. But if you don't live close to a Woodman's (like me), they aren't a great value but do have lots of specialty items.
