The young man working the store was helpful and pleasant. I had the need to use the restroom and it too was super clean and stocked. Very impressed! I've gone to a lot of Dollar Generals in different areas across Texas and must say this was the best I have ever visited. Great job!!! Wish you were my neighborhood Dollar General.

Training employees to greet their customers, smile and be personable, is an important part of marketing. It can double your business, or degrade your business, depending on the cashiers' attitudes. Not all employees, but there was a new one today and she looked very disturbed if you asked her a question. Her facial expressions were disturbing and I could not wait to leave. Just FYI, General Dollar. I have seen this a few times lately.

They do offer wine and cold beer choices, but nothing in the way of craft beer. They have canned food items, household supplies, home decor, pet food and even art/craft stuff. They do have a selection of beer and wine, but nothing fancy and no craft beer. The store is narrow and consists of six long aisles. They have nine refrigerated doors and 7 freezer doors. They keep the bathroom locked in case you're looking for a place to go. It should be mentioned they also rent propane tanks.

Two things that were conspicuously absent, were wine and beer, which apparently they don't sell at this location. They also do not have a Redbox or propane tank rentals here. They do have plenty of cold drinks and water, but you'll pay convenience store prices. You can get a better selection and prices at Dollar General, including beer.

My experience with Walmart Automotive. I saw Jon helping another customer at Walmart today, which…read morereminded me of the time he helped me. On Superbowl Sunday morning, I had a blowout on a tire and dropped off just the tire since I had put on the spare. Unfortunately, when I dropped it off, I didn't tell them it was going to need a new tire, so the person who took it wrote it up as a repair. When I showed up to pick it up, the tire wasn't fixed. They had to get the Team Lead, Jon, to help me. After hearing from me, he helped me pick a tire, checked me out, and then personally put on the tire on my rim. He helped me, even though I was the one who had made the mistake at dropoff. I just wanted to share how thankful I was for the level of service I received. It was above and beyond the call of duty.

Took my car to Walmart service dept in Seguin Tx to get an oil change, new wiper blades and…read morepossibly buy new tires. Car was there for 3 hours only to find out they didnt do anything. They canceled everything because supposedly there was no threads on the drain plug. Took it to Take 5 in New Braunfels Oil quickly changed. Tires still going down so I now feel that they just added air and didn't actually check the tires for leaks. Be wary if they tell you something is wrong with your vehicle. Very unprofessional and will never take my car back there. Disgusted and disgruntled. Update: after I got the oil changed I went to discount tire down the road. They found (and i saw it with my own two eyes) a bubble on the front tire. So the employees did not check the tires like they said. Both front tires needed to be replaced. Do better Walmart!! And for the record this happened on 5/25/26.
