During checkout there was a long line of about 10 people waiting to be processed by one cashier...after a few minutes, a second register opened to help with the jam.

You, like most consignment stores, have the option to donate unsold items or come back to pick them up yourself. You have the option to spend dollars earned (like merchandise credit) or be paid by check. New consigners should make an appointment. If bringing in 15+ items, they do ask that you schedule an appointment too. This store has every day-type items with a mix of designer items too.
