I stopped here recently, after realizing I had no pasta at the beach house and the sauce was almost ready. They don't have a large selection, all of them were Prince brands, which is fine, since pasta is mostly pasta. Paid 3x what I would I paid at a discount store but that's the price for convenience. It's good to have them so close by. read more

I went here yesterday for a quick sandwich on the go in between events. My friend had suggested it. This spot was perfect. It had snacks and general need items, and then a deli in the back. For the area it is located in, I was super shocked on how reasonably priced everything in the store was. I got a small meatball sandwich and it was delicious, and I honestly got two meals out of it. I was really surprised with how wonderful this shop was. Service was quick, everyone was friendly and helpful. The store was clean and organized. Def a hidden gem when down by the beach! read more

I drove through the back roads or southern Rhode Island--I was headed to the home of a dear friend of mine, casey. We had plans to go to a concert later that night. We met at sea view marketplace. Casey swore they made the best sandwiches. I was hesitant: I prefer a hearty soup or goldfish over sandwiches, but I took a leap. I'll never forget my first bite of my buffalo chicken salad sandwich: my panties flew across the room. was it the crisp baguette? The boars head cheese? No. It was the spicy yet smooth buffalo chicken salad that lit a fire within me that burned so strong, that I doubt it can ever be extinguished. It was the best buffalo experience I had ever had. That sandwich ruined my ability to love again. For the passion I felt for that sandwich was so strong, that I was unable to love anything or anyone as much ever again. read more

A small local supermarket and deli that packs a lot of variety into a small store. Good selection of food and groceries for a local beach community and a decent deli and salads. We had the beet, 3 bean, and potato salad, and all were pretty good. We got a few fresh made deli sandwiches which were okay but could have been great. The food is that they use high quality deli meats (Boars head & Smithfield) and store made bread BUT the bread was seriously underbaked (by 8 minutes in my opinion) and needed to proof longer to get it a bit less dense - I don't like package bread but its a better choice here. The other issue I had was the cold cuts were very thick sliced - should be sliced thinner for better texture and flavor. Overall I recommend this place and would go to again. read more

This market has all of the staples. The meat counter has excellent steaks, and the deli counter also has a nice assortment of salads and homemade desserts. This is across the street from the entrance to South Kingstown's Town Beach, and parking at the marketplace is ample. On a hot day, this place is a good stop if one wants to avoid the supermarket on the way home from the beach. read more

This place has a lot of room for improvement. Its absurd that they have such a minimal organic produce section when they are surrounded by small family farms that produce veggies, beef, pork, eggs, milk, etc. There is so much local agriculture in Matunuck and the surrounding areas yet Seaview Market still sells Land O Lakes butter and Hood Milk. That doesnt make sense. They should support the local and regional farmers. I realize its probably been owned by the same family for 50 years but its about time they carried more high quality, local and organic items or sold the business to someone who can do that. Time to get with it. I wish the South County Food Coop would take it over. Also, their hours suck. I wanted to buy some ingredients for dinner at 730pm on a Friday in May and they were closed. read more
