I'm very familiar with the brand and what "good" looks like, which is why the Turlock, California location has become such a serious concern for me. Over the last three years, this location has been consistently unreliable and poorly managed. Reservations are frequently not honored or "lost," even when customers arrive on time with a confirmed booking. I was in the office recently and heard another customer being told their reservation could not be fulfilled, which has become a common theme here. At that point, the purpose of a reservation becomes questionable if there's no car available when you arrive. Vehicle quality and preparation are also recurring problems. I've been given cars with fuel so low that within a block of driving, the fuel light turned on and I had to stop to fill up. I've received vehicles that smelled like marijuana, which is completely unacceptable, especially for business travel. I've also experienced cars with mechanical or servicing issues that clearly should have been addressed before being rented out. What's particularly frustrating is that this location actually showed signs of improvement under the last manager, but it has gotten worse again with the current leadership. Pricing feels inconsistent, customer experience has declined, and the overall maturity and leadership presence at this location are lacking. The way issues are handled does not reflect the professionalism or customer focus I've come to expect from Enterprise over three decades. It feels like this independently owned location is being allowed to operate far below the standards of the corporate brand. My question to Enterprise executive leadership is simple: why is this being allowed to continue, and when will you intervene with stronger oversight and more seasoned leadership at this location? In Turlock, rental options are limited; going to Modesto or Merced is not always practical, which makes it even more important that this branch meet basic standards of reliability, safety, and professionalism. I'm not looking for another apology. I'm asking corporate leadership to take concrete action: enforce your standards, audit this location, and either elevate the leadership or make whatever changes are necessary so that this operation reflects the Enterprise name. Until that happens, I would strongly caution others to be aware of the ongoing issues at this Turlock Enterprise location.

I visited on Sunday, 6/21/26 around 12:45 pm. When I approached the front desk clerk to ask for the bathroom code, the employee did not respond verbally and instead held up a board with the code, but did so with an attitude. Later, when I asked whether my train was on time, she rolled her eyes and pointed to the board displaying the information. I found this interaction to be unprofessional and awkward. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I hope that staff are reminded to treat customers with respect and patience.

Kinda…read more Modesto bus station is actually the Southern Pacific Railroad Depot, which has Modesto Amtrak and also Greyhound stopping here. It looks lovely and Spanish like many of the Cali stations do, and it's gorgeous just like a lot of the stations in California. New and shiny and all that good stuff. Its official name is the Downtown Transportation Center which is really not just a bus terminal but used to be the train station. It might start getting trains coming through here with the Altamont Corridor Express in about 2023. It's been used since 1993 exclusively for buses. And it has been open here since 1915, and this is one of many Mission Revival stations which is made to look like a Mission - and it's pretty gorgeous.

We expected to come to a track yet were actually greeted by some strange set up in a parking lot which was really weird and somewhat disappointing. The event is held one weekend each month and you need to book in advance, when you arrive on the day basically you just wait in line until it's your turn. There is a big turnout and my Husband got to drive about 40 minutes after his scheduled time. You're out with one of the instructed divers for the entire of the laps with the first one you're not allowed to go over a certain speed just to make sure you know what you're doing then they encourage you to ''open it up'' as much as you can throughout the laps, which is fun yet somewhat limited to do the size restrictions of the track itself which is marked out by cones. Despite the slight disappointment my Husband still had a great time, after weeks of working insane hours it was nice to see him come away with a smile and knowing that he finally got to something he had wanted to for so long. Aside from the Lamborghini Gallardo they also have a Porsche 911 and Ferrari.

Yep, everything is working fine, speed is fine. Looking in the bathroom, everything is clean and no stray hairs not of my color or creepy crawly guys running about. The hot water is good and hot, cause I love to take long hot showers when stay at hotels, cause my hot water at home sure doesn't last that long! Breakfast is good as usual, all the same stuff as all the Holiday Inn Expresses. Hot entrees, like eggs, potatoes, and the amusing pancake machine I never use. I love those cinnamon rolls for sure!
