Was visiting from out of town and during my visit my car was involved in a hit and run accident and…read moremy car was totaled so I had to get a rental car through my insurance at Hertz and I've had terrible experiences with Hertz before especially the Oakland location which is my home location so I wasn't looking forward to going there but to my surprise this location was such a different experience. The customer service was top tier all of the ladies that were in the office during my visit and were very welcoming and so sweet. Alma is the one who helped me get my rental and she was the best. I had to come and give her a raving review for her professionalism and great customer service :) thank you for making my visit a great experience I won't forget it!

Man oh man, this place is an absolute wreck! It has the…read morefeeling, as if you're working a telemarketing job, and you would just sit at a bare table in a bare room! There were two girls, and I understand they were short staffed, so it's not THEIR fault, they did the best they could! I didn't get picked up like I was told and the body shop nicely drove me there, when it wasn't their job. Every person had to wait at least 30-40 minutes for a car and then the person took another 15-20 minutes to wash it. It did not go well for the people who had a bit of a time frame and expected a car pretty quickly. I was told I'd have a car that didn't actually exist when it was my turn. I've dealt with Enterprise many times and was hoping Hertz would be great as well. It really is unfortunate. The corporation needs to gets it business together so these employees aren't yelled at for what isn't their fault!

The insurance company made a reservation for me because our car was taken to the auto body shop for repairs. I was immediately contacted by Dominic at Enterprise and he confirmed the date and time for pick up. I arrived and my rental ready and waiting. The employees were friendly and professional. Thank you for making this rental car experience a positive one. We will definitely be back to the 7th Street location when we need a rental in the future.

I made a few phone calls in the early morning to get a rental car. The first person I spoke with stated that I would be picked up at 9:30am. They have a 2 hour min window she informed me. When the call was disconnected, I called back immediately. I tried to reach the office directly, with no success, they kept putting my call on hold without saying anything. So I called the call center back and the second employee said 10am!! I made the reservation and tried reaching the office several more times. Finally, I got ahold of Ana who said they would come and pick me up in 30-45 minutes. Awesome! So, I waited...and waited until about 10, which was the original quoted time. Still no one had showed up. "They were dropping off another customer". It was now 10:18 am and no sign of anyone, and no one called me. I called again and Ana said she would send someone else. I asked the driver if the first person got lost. It was mostly a joke because they aren't too far from where I had them pick me up. The driver told me they were short staffed. My major complaint is that the deposit is $300.00!! Not one person (out of the numerous times I called) told me the amount of the deposit. I feel it is very sneaky to withhold this information until I was sitting inside the vehicle. The deposit was more than the cost of the rental. "In case you don't bring the vehicle back or damage the vehicle". I'm pretty sure if those things happened I would be charged a lot more through my insurance. Anyway, on the way home, the driver was texting about 1/2 the time, while driving. That was concerning as well.

If you can not remember what customer service feels like.......rent a car from this location and…read morethey will remind you how great it can be! I called the 800 number yesterday to reserve a car. I was really having a horrible day as my husband's car is going to be stuck at the dealer for 30 days due to a parts shortage. You can only imagine how frustrated and upset I was. The telephone agent let me know there was a car available at this location. I walked to Enterprise (since I had no car) and was met by Peter. What a great smile and calm demeanor he had. There was a small hiccup with my reservation, but within minutes Peter solved the problem and was able to get me in my rental. He walked me around the car to make sure the exterior was in good shape and even walked me through some of the interior features so I knew how to use everything. There was even an individually wrapped Clorox wipe placed in the car so you can wipe down the steering wheel to feel safe and clean. I appreciated that. He made sure I knew where the gas level was at and that I felt comfortable before I drove off. The rental process is paperless and extremely fast with their tablet. You just need to present your Drivers License and Credit Card. In my frantic afternoon, I forgot to grab my insurance card. He asked to call them back the next morning to provide them my policy number. During the entire process, Peter was amazing. He had a great attitude, wonderful personality, he was patient, kind and understanding. He turned my horrible afternoon around. I can not thank you enough Peter. The next morning I called in to give them my insurance policy info. Brianna (I hope I spelled that correctly) answered the phone. She proved that this store offers great customer service. She was smiling, patient, spoke clearly and made it easy. Thank you to the staff at this location, I really appreciate your empathy, understanding and patience.

I understand being short staffed when people call out but maybe this review will let management know they need a backup plan or realize they are short staffed. Finally got help after another 30 mins so an hour total wait after my reservation time. The staff were gracious and kind but they need to figure something out. Next will be the review about the car. I received the car with an empty tank. That was my first time ever.. it's usually with some gas at least. So now I need to go and fill up. Once again luckily I'm not on a time crunch but if I was, that would be a very big set back. Also I usually add a car seat with my rental but they didn't have any and advised me to go to another location
