However; I also love coming randomly throughout the year to get updated clothing items. I typically like to check out under Armour and Nike, the Columbia store also has a separate outlet location as well. Recently, I feel like prices haven't been nearly as good as they used to, but in this economy, who can blame them. I would love to see a little bit more variation in the food court, it's mostly Asian cuisines and Cinnabon. All delicious but would love to see some more options. There's a ton of parking, but if you come on a busy weekend, you may not notice and still have to park far away. Bummed to see some recent retailers, leaving, they've been replaced with stores that my opinion were is great. Overall, a decent shopping trip, it's also in a great location. There's plenty of other stores/eating nearby. I recommend checking out the Twin Cities premium outlets if you haven't been there before.

It's nearly identical to the Aurora Outlet mall back home in Illinois so navigating this building felt like I was back home. There weren't any outdoor vendors, maybe they'll be there in the summer. There was ample amount of parking and a great variety of stores where you could find half of them at the Mall of America itself. This mall is very clean without any riff raff from my visit here. On Thursday, I specifically was here to check whether there were baby Yoda silicone ice cube trays. The store in Eagan only had one, which I picked up for myself. I used it to make the most adorable, yet functional ice cubes in my hotel room's freezer that I needed to get one for a friend as a gift. I lucked out. This place had six of these ice cube trays. I got one. They were a steal at 50% off. This store also had a nice selection of graphic t-shirt. I ended up getting a Disney one with classic characters on the front, such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy, Donald Duck, and Goofy. It was on sale, so I had to. I needed to try the t-shirt in a fitting room. Due to the pandemic, the store has one main fitting room in the middle of the store. The smaller ones scattered around the store were closed off. The fitting room that I was in was clean and bright. I liked the three hooks and a long rail to hang my items up and try them on. I ended up getting a long-sleeved tie-dyed shirt that was also marked down. I loved that the sleeves were longer. I normally have the reverse problem with sleeves. I went to line up at this store. It was a couple of days before Christmas, so the line was longer than usual. It moved at a decent pace. I got an older woman at the checkout who was in good spirits. I paid using a credit card. I also had my Kohl's points barcode scanned. It's a decent store with a ton of parking. Like with all Kohl's, you can do curbside pickup. The customer service counter is to the right when you enter the set of doors to the right of the Kohl's logo. This store is also special because it has a Sephora built into it. The Sephora is decent. It felt like being at a regular standalone one. I was impressed with the products that I saw, from the complete Fenty Beauty line, to Drunk Elephant. I liked shopping here. I'd come back again when I'm in the area. (488)

I understand that there was a complete paradigm shift post-Covid, however; you can only use that excuse for so long. The employees seem as though they are not properly trained to do the simplest of tasks regarding returns/price adjustments, etc. I attempted to return a hat/glove set that didn't fit this morning. The employee that helped (?) me was unable to locate the order number or SKU number of the product in her computer even though I pulled up the order on my phone & provided the information to her. She tried over & over again. I was becoming impatient & asked her to get someone else to help her. Another employee pulled up the information finally. I paid with Kohls cash & should have received that amount back. She insisted that the dollar amount was 0, so I wasn't due anything back. After I (the customer) explained how the return credit works in this situation, I was able to get my Kohls cash back. I have shopped at the Eagan location recently & have not experienced this level of service. This tells me that the onboarding of employees is not at the level that it should be.

Just went to pick up some ingredients today. Totally forgot today was their grand "remodelling"…read morecompletion day. There was an army of food trucks in the parking lot with crazy lines (esp. for 9am), but it didn't fully dawn on me why until I entered and encountered a massive balloon arch and table of goodie bags. They've been advertising this date for awhile now, and I and many other shoppers have had to endure several months of cramped parking (because a large part of the lot was full of equipment/materials for the remodel), bizarre aisle layouts, and closed restrooms while they were in the midst of this remodel. I will say that the place was crawling with employees (and managers...) who all seemed to be in an effervescent mood; I think they had all hands on deck for staffing today. The employee handing out goodie bags jovially encouraged me to check out the many booths set up in the back of the store. I did and found things like coloring sheets, face painting, and henna, as well as on the grocery throughway lots of free samples from various third party sellers (like Kellogg's, Monster Energy, etc.). I got so many that my goodie bag was stuffed beyond capacity. There were even two costumed mascots to take photos with (Chester Cheetah and Tony the Tiger)! So actually, I'll admit, this little event was kinda fun, even if it was celebrating the excesses of capitalism. XP Apart from today, I've been shopping at this location for about a year, since we moved to the area. I go because it's cheaper than the Cub that's closer, and cuz I can get non-grocery items there while I'm at it (like household cleaning supplies, body care, auto stuff, etc.). So in that way it's convenient and worth the longer drive. But it's your typical Walmart in pretty much every way. It's not gonna be amazing, just OK (thus my rating). It's clean enough, stocked enough. Sometimes it's annoyingly crowded (I never ever use a shopping cart unless I absolutely have to). I tend to utilize self checkout as a matter of personal preference so I can bag my items exactly the way I want. Of course it's annoying that Walmart's point of sale devices STILL don't allow tap to pay. Get with the times, Walmart, everyone else has. I also use the mobile app to hunt down random items when I'm not certain where in the store to look (case in point, today I regrettably needed mouse traps...). My luck with asking employees face-to-face here hasn't been very good, so I've defaulted to kinda fending for myself in this regard. Sort of a shame, but I also know that they're pushing to have shoppers not even enter the store physically at all-- this is quite evident from the sheer number of brand new "pickup" spots in their parking lot post-remodel (nearly an entire double row... which seems insane to me). They'd prefer to basically have a local "warehouse" and cart your order out to you under the guise of "your convenience." (We all know this is actually a way to stem shortages and recoup profits; under late-stage capitalism, nothing is done by a big business without there being something in it for them too.) Haha, okay, soapbox over. This is a Walmart. Go there to buy stuff cuz you're mostly broke and feels like the only way to affordably feed yourself in a country beset by rapid inflation! Oops, guess my soapbox wasn't quite over. My bad!

When I walked into the store a few days ago there was literally trash on the floor by the shopping carts. It looked as though they never sweep up the store because there was a lot of dirt. there was a lot of children running around unattended, the store just plain stunk. also what the worst thing is when you really need to use the bathroom and you see the sign employees only you would assume that means there are no restrooms for the customers. Even though I called the store and spoke to the manager about my experience she informed me that there still is a code for the bathrooms, if you kind find a staff member in time and don't crap your pants first. I would not recommend this place at all, it is dirty and it is like this store should not exist anymore because leading competitor stores definitely look better and are well kept.

When I bought them, I barely fit into them. Now, they fit like they should! A couple of years ago, I loved looking at the Kipling handbags section. On this trip, I am using three different Kipling bags. I changed my game to include a backpack as my carry-on item and got a lovely compliment on how vibrant the purple colour was by a fellow passenger. After having some lunch in Burnsville a few days ago, I drove around and spotted this Macy's at Burnsville Center. I hadn't been to a Macy's store in over two years and felt that it was time. I parked in front of this store. There was plenty of parking. I was closest to the mattress department. It was tempting to take a nap here! Sadly, the purse section did not have Kipling. How disappointing! You can still get Kipling merchandise off Macy's online site. It had Saks and a few other brands that didn't speak to me at this sstore. There was a table with discounted prices on purses, so that sale was encouraging. I ended up in the last-chance clothing section on the second floor, close to the women's washroom. I saw a nice zippered hoodie from Tommy Hilfiger. I tried it on and it fit. It was 70% off. The problem? It didn't have pockets. All my hoodies have pockets. Is it so bad in this world that we are skimping on pockets now?! Sadly, I put this pocketless hoodie back on the rack. Bummer. I need pockets. The only Tommy HIlfiger items that I own are ankle socks. I loved the Christmas ornaments here. The food-themed ones caught my attention. Who doesn't need a shiny hamburger ornament on their Christmas tree, right? My experience was fine as a browsing customer. However, if I were determined to get Kipling items, I would have been disappointed. I am glad that this store is still alive and kicking, though. The rest of the mall seemed eerily quiet on a weekday days before Christmas. (485)
