It's a dirty disgusting strip mall and the store itself is repulsive. It honestly looks like they've never even once cleaned the store. Especially the floors. Once they run out of something they literally never stock it ever again. Once it's gone it's gone for good. No matter how well it's selling. The cashiers are rude, the store has a customer feedback email but they actually write in the sign to not provide feedback if it's at all negative. I'm not even joking. It actually says that! Their air conditioning is regularly broken and at times the refrigerators so you can just imagine how sanitary and safe that Frozen food is, they typically are incapable of breaking any bull larger than a $10 but never put up any signs. You find out at checkout which is really infuriating to customers as I've witnessed myself. The owners clearly do not care about their customers or view them as anything more than dollar signs, there are constantly homeless drug addicts hanging outside begging for change and cigarettes when they're not inside the store stealing and causing chaos, most but not all employees are extremely lazy and it shows, there's never any prices on anything and when there is it's rarely accurate which you'll also discover when you reach the register. Of course that typically takes around 10 mins or longer once you're in line regardless of whether there's 2 people or 20 people in line. This was your warning so if you shop there anyway, do not complain when you have a horrible experience.

This location in Arbutus is always well stocked and has the items that l come for when l don't have the time and/or don't want to visit those mass retailer stores and pay 2 times more for the same items. They have sales and publish a weekly circular that is delivered via the mail. This location always has a pleasant staff ready to assist you if the need arises. The one thing I love about this location is that it is open 24 hours! Checkout is always hassle free and on your receipt they sometimes have a coupon for $5 off an upcoming date specific visit of $25 or more. All in all a great store to visit to pick up items when you are in a pinch and want to save money.

The store looks fairly large on the outside. The produce department is small in my opinion. There is a nice selection of grocery items and the meat department is large. They have awesome deals on meat and produce weekly. But, get there early or you will miss out. Bring your own bags and keep in mind that most of the stores do not accept credit. If you're a frugal fanatic like me, then this is a sure place to add to your list for optimum savings.

The prices I saw were a bit on the higher side but not outrageous. I think there's a benefit to being able to examine comics by hand rather than trust ebay descriptions. I did notice that the new parking spots also are pretty small. I had a few incidences where I had to return mushy green apples, bruised up strawberries, and not so great cocktail shrimp. Other than that, everything is rather simple to find, with each aisle clearly labeled and the self-checkout line definitely makes a trip to the grocery store a lot faster. It is also nice that there is always someone readily available to help with self-checkout. They also have a lottery kiosk and a good selection of fresh flower bouquet.

Not only is it in Catonsville, but it's an independently owned company. Independent stores are my favorite type of capitalism. Not to mention - Jen is super!
