They are being sued for deceptive advertising. When they say the price is one thing but charge you another. We went back into our DG the other day and got $47 in groceries but we were charged $67. We said something about it and the guy working there did fix the prices this time. So it seems like they are trying to fix the problem if you complain about it. Watch your receipts I will give them 4 stars for now since they did fix it for this transaction.

It seems like their selection of gift items has expanded over the years. It also seems very thoughtful, classy and includes many unique and fun things. Puzzles, art supplies, coloring books, journals, t-shirts, and jewelry were on display along with the books. They also carry cool postcards that are a step above the regular ones available everywhere else. I've scored some great deals here as well. They offer remainders and the last two times I've been here I've scored cool history works at great prices. Service is quiet and calm, but warm too. In other words, they let you browse as much as you want, but also seem accessible for help and/or questions. I love coming here when I'm in the area!

If you forgot something or those pesky airport security folks confiscate your 4.oz of personal items (shampoo, conditioner, lotion), you can pick up a replacement here for $1 each (and no tax in Oregon), along with some yummy snacks (I picked up chocolate covered pretzels).
