This is a wonderful dollar tree in the five below plaza. It is huge and every time I have visited, it is always stocked better than the Orangethorpe location. I went on a huge shopping spree for red Christmas bows and they were the only nearby location that had the ones I wanted in stock. Love coming to the tree!!! Always look for dollars on the ground, but never find any! I do however find great deals! I bought the sweater I am currently wearing at the tree!!! What a great deal!! I also bought tons of birthday stuff to celebrate me! I decorated for days! At work! At home and even in the bathroom! Yes! If you haven't decorated for yourself in the bathroom, you ain't doing it right. Trust, when it comes to celebrating me, you gotta go all out. Every day I'm shuffling through all the great deals!! Back to the bathroom. You spend like 15 mins a day, at least! and multiply that by like weeks and months and guess what?? you have spent years taking large, small, runny dumps! This location has plenty of parking and the staff was very helpful to me and my son. We went for seasonal stuff, and I even found super glue gel that I needed for a home project. I enjoy the 2 greeting cards for $1 section. read more

well stocked , unfortunately never have available carts to take out your purchased items to car , so im assuming they don't want you buy more than you can carry out .Since they cant lend you any or look for a cart to use to carry out bags . I did ask incase a customer needs assistance due to medical and non medical with carrying bags out , will they provide us with assistance ? cashier said yes .we shall see next time . Oh my goodness! Where the heck have I been? This dollar tree is packed full of the cutest holiday things, and everything that you need for almost any occasion! Why haven't I shopped here more? This is definitely going to be a staple in my go to stores in the neighborhood I'm so excited! The Dollar Tree has an extensive and comprehensive amount of products for the price titled. Most all of them are of name brands and the cost you pay is very much a benefit to you and all. It is truly a resource with what you need, how you need it, and when you need it. Along with what I stated, during the holiday seasons, they have items that adhere to them. Today, I went in the store and found a variety of Valentine gifts which I purchased with and for in a loving manner. Plus, I have seen true Saint Patrick, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas celebration items that are very nice for only a dollar each!! The bottomline regarding Dollar Tree is this: For what you buy, the prices are only a dollar but in any other venue, they are far more. With what you pay there (as compared to other stores), the price of Dollar Tree is nearly free!! As a retired teacher and educator, I would grade them with an A+!! read more

The employees are horrible. They seem to hate their job. They are not helpful and they are very rude. There are never enough lines open. One young lady yelled at an elderly man who was looking for the restroom . Most Dollar Tree stores or the pits but store #3262 is the absolute worst!!!!! How do you work at a store That only has one bathroom even for employees and you didn't know it was flooded. Instead you try to send me to the store next-door I didn't spend my money next door. Worst Dollar Tree I have ever been in. All good employees are gone. The employee they have there, Olga, is one of the most useless. She is either walking around the store on the phone and snacking, or going on break or lunch. If the lines are long she will help with one or two people then close rhe register because she is "on lunch or dinner break." Her attitude with customers despicable. That store needs attention for their employees and the cleanliness of the store. No star rating. One is too much. read more

Went to this store yesterday and the store was a mess. I bought a couple things. When I was gonna check out there was a long line. It took a while before they opened up another line. I didn't checked the receipt and there's no sign that the items are no longer a dollar, until my daughter who lives up north texted me that dollar tree is no longer a dollar store. Prices had gone up by .25 cents. I haven't shopped there a few months, so I didn't know when they raise their prices. After my daughter mentioned it, I checked my receipt, and sure enough it was $1.25 per item now. We didn't arranged that we will be shopping at a dollar tree store on the same day in different part of California. What's with these stores they no longer live up to their names. Like 99 cents store also has changed too, not too many items is .99 cents. Both dollar tree and 99 cents store should change their names. Last time I was at a dollar tree store the bag was crappy, now the store has increase their prices, but no sign of the price changes. This store has the worst customer service. The only reason I shop here is because its close to my house. Today 730 pm. Im ready to check out, my items already on the belt. No employees in sight for 10 min. I finally decide to go find someone as the line behind is 7 clients deep. I find someone she goes a diffrent register and says Il help the next in line. Expecting me to remove all my items and follow her. At this point other customers had already moved to that line. I once again ask her if anyone is coming to the lane that I am already at along with the next person that had already placed their items in belt as well. I love going to Dollar Tree but this location leaves a bad taste in everyone's moth. First of all the store is constantly messy and unkept. Secondly, the carpets are in disarray and in serious need of replacing. Thirdly the staff is especiaaly ill mannered especially Eddie who is one of the rudest people in the world. That person either needs more training or to look for another job since he's terrible at working retail. read more

I frequent this dollar tree on Thursdays, whenever I am visiting Knott's, and it really depends who is cashier that morning that influences my experience. Sometimes there is this tall young lady who is extremely rude when it comes to ringing up your items. The three times I've had her ring up my items she throws them to the side, once ripping the packaging from a pack of air fresheners I bought. However, she was helping customers before me and she was not really throwing the items like she did when she rung me up, so it could have been just been personal. On the other hand, there is this older woman cashier who is the sweetest ever!!! She is so friendly and makes conversation while ringing you up. Even offered to let me borrow her scissors at hand to open an item I needed right after paying. Before I left I stopped her and told her she has been the nicest cashier I have had at this location, and as I'm telling her this I see the manager stop and give me a nasty look. Like lady you should be happy to have an employee like her. The manager does give off a negative vibe. read more

go to this dollar tree all the time but today was different. went there this afternoon and at checkout when the cash register asked if i wanted to donate a toy, i said not today. instead of respecting my decision he started to bash me and guilt me into donating one and immediately started to throw my items while ringing my items. he told me that he was in the military and worked at dollar tree for years and it was the least someone can do. to tell you the truth, i am currently going through a lot right now and i wish he would have considered that about others too and we have reasons as to why we cannot donate. read more

This one is WAY more organized than the locations in Anaheim (Lincoln & Brookhurst) and Garden Grove ( Brookhurst and Chapman). I found all of the household nick knacks I was looking for and of course a few random treasures. The gal at the cash register was SUPER nice and quick to ring up my items. I didn't have to wait at all when I visited and there were acutally two checking lanes open. After an hour of wandering I got out for under $15. Thanks Dollar Tree read more

Negative stars. My three year old went to pick up a bottle of 409 laying in the aisle to put it back. The cap wasn't screwed all the way on. It dropped and splashed chemicals in his eyes and mouth. A team member walked by when it happened and did nothing. Then as I am checking out, the cashier Walks away in the middle of ringing me up, and yells for me to push the green button and I would be done. Just horrible. read more

I haven't been here in a while. I'm so amazed at the things you can find here. Literally everything! And for a dollar!? Given, it won't be the best quality in the world but it's all decent. I needed a big picture frame and it was going to cost me over $15 in Walmart but I got it here instead. I was very pleased with my purchases. I'll make sure to come here before going elsewhere. We came here once on a party run and got 5 serving spoons (ladels, salad tongs, etc) for five bucks! Decent quality too. I've been coming to this Dollar Tree since it opened and I was working at PetSmart right next door. The customer service has never been an issue till today. I came in looking for the 6 pack of Kit-Kats that I buy as a special treat for one of my students. I noticed they did not have any on the shelves so I ended up buying the full sized ones instead. I really don't like giving out full sized bars like that at work. I asked the gentlemen at the register if they carried them anymore and he said yes. I then told him that the store did not have any on the shelves but at that point he was too wrapped up in focusing on the group of teens/young adults behind me that smelt heavily of weed piling candy onto his register to which I am sure he knew because he did a little man hand shake to one of the guys, all while he was still working with me and started talking to them. What happened to finishing with one customer before moving to the next? I think the world of customer service is dying with the new generation they are starting to hire. -_- sad world. I compared Dollar Tree to 99 cents store to other mom and pop shops and I have concluded that DOLLAR TREE has the cheapest party supplies without compromising quality.
