One of the better Dollar Trees that I have been to. Thank you. My expectations have been decreasing as time goes on. Quality/Quantity - Full in stock; I actually got everything on my long list, thank you. If you read my previous Dollar Tree Yelp, not everything is $1.25 any more... So you need to check prices before paying. Atmosphere - Huge Dollar Tree, if I had more time I would have taken more pictures. Plenty of mall parking, got the first space. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm or 10pm. Service - The cashier was amazingly patient with the needy customer in front of me. I was impressed. That customer was so picky on how she wanted everything bagged... So confusing, etc. I can't even explain it or describe it, but I almost left the line to another register but decided to stay to watch the "show." You need a quarter for a shopping cart, see sign. I just used a hand basket, so it was not applicable to me. This service is hit and miss with many. Price - Spent like another $10 or so... I don't even check. Well, I do check to make sure everything I am buying is only $1.25 otherwise, I rather go buy from elsewhere. This is my favorite Dollar Tree location in the West San Jose area. It's large and there's always plenty of parking. You can definitely find everything including exclusive items that you won't find at other Dollar Tree stores. Since it's a bigger store, the selection is much better and sometimes I find some really good brand names. Staff has always been very nice to me and the store is well kept and clean. This location is very easy to navigate and you can always find a seasonal items directly in the front and they always have so much. I love making my weekly visits to this Dollar Tree. read more

Yeah, I know sorry every dollar she always gets five stars. Great for kids stuff. Especially projects. I got my gingerbread houses from here and granted they were small, but they definitely did the trick. Even had enough to get some extra frosting and sprinkles. During holiday time, especially Easter and Christmas. They have some really adorable sets for kids 10 and under. If I could do it all again, I would never even buy a present from anywhere else. Kids get so bored, so easily may as well just get a cheap and throw it away. All of their car, kids, their caboodle's, their lunch boxes to hold her toys all come from here. I wouldn't trust the food, but the plates and plastic ware can be pretty awesome for birthday parties. Highly recommend if you have young kids. read more

I came to buy some greeting cards here today and the selection was decent but overall pretty thin. I was looking for a Holy Communion card for my Niece but I couldn't find one, but I did find a wonderful birthday and Mother's day card for my Mother and another nice card for a certain special someone who came into my life. I was satisfied overall. The lady at the line was wearing a wonderful perfume but I really couldn't recall what it was. I am a perfume reseller and I chatted a little bit with her about them. This is one of the larger sized Dollar Tree locations and you can easily get lost in here by spending a couple hours perusing through the aisles. Perfect for finding tons of craft ideas too. I am a teacher and made a DIY craft for families and it only $3/child with most of the materials from here! Some items change weekly so if you find something you are on the fence about it would be a good idea to snag it. By the time you come back it could be gone. Check out a couple craft projects I make each year. With the exception of Sharpie markers and fabric paint, I made them with materials from the store. read more

This is my go to dollar store for quite a long time. Before this store, you must go to the Blossom Hill area for a Dollar Tree. This is a very convenient location to get some things that cost more at mainstream stores. For kids especially boy under age 13 they have a wide variety of toys to buy. The reason why I say boys under 13 is because they have a wide variety of genuine hot wheels or matchbox cars that even adults like. If you are a snacker and don't want to waste too much money on food items or drinks, this is your place. Got some nice sodas for a very low price of $1.25. This store is also a good place to get some home essentials that you plan to use on a short term basis. Bad news: If you are in need of a bathroom please be very vigilant. There is only one available for customer use. Now for the vigilance part. I learned this lesson the hard way because there was a homeless guy in the bathroom on a day I visited. The transient was either smoking 420 or sleeping in the bathroom or is a suspected OD. I told the cashier to contact the manager but they didn't do anything. I almost had to call CPD because of this. read more

Biggest Dollar Tree I've ever been to! It definitely has all you need for $1. They have items that you may need from the kitchen, bathroom, party decorations, school supplies, etc. You'd probably find things that you didn't think you needed! I'm not a big dollar tree/ dollar store person based on a bad experience at one growing up. I came here for paper plates and cups for a beach getaway tomorrow and left spending a little under $80. The associates inside were so amazing and really helpful they turned a quick run and grab into an actual shopping experience where I was able to save money on top brands I didn't think they carried . I walked out with secret deodorant, Gatorade, best food mayonnaise, and hienz ketchup. These are brands I don't compromise . I got my sons 3 in q body wash for the year(6bottles) and on top of all that the guy at the register really interacted and showed interest in my day, that's rare in trying times like these. We were having dinner nearby with the roommate's family. Afterwards, his sister in law wanted to check out the dollar store. I'm always down for a good deal, so some of us stopped by the Dollar Tree on Sunday, June 18th around 6:15pm. First off, we went during the heat wave, so it was a welcome change walking inside. The air conditioning felt sooo good! They have a huge assortment of useful and random things: toys, household items, food, beauty supplies, etc. Everything is rather small or a random brand as each item is a dollar. What am I going to do with 10 trash bags?! I did walk away with a few things though. *Scrub Buddies Reusable Gloves: heavy duty with textured palms ×3 *Sugar Free Wyler's Light: Pink Lemonade, Blueberry Lemonade *Kool Pops Freezer Pops: Tropical, Sour *Haribo: Gold Bears, Sour Gold Bears *Sour Patch Kids: Extreme Sour *Stacked Energy Shots: Extra Strength x2 We also bought a cold soda (Diet Dr Pepper) for the ride home. Overall with tax, we spent around $14. The dishwashing gloves are good. Very heavy duty, but a little stiff and big for my hands. At times, I feel like they may fall off my hands, but I do like that they're pink! The freezer pops are basically generic otter pops. I like the sour ones since they're different. Plus, I love sour candy! Watch out when buying stuff from the candy aisle. The small packs of candy are not worth a dollar. I think at a regular grocery story, you can get three for a dollar. I just stuck to Haribo and a box of Sour Patch Kids. I don't think I've ever been to a dollar store, so it was fun exploring. Plus, I walked away with a few items. (I actually needed new dishwashing gloves. And I'm addicted to gummies!) I felt like a kid in a candy store. Or maybe just the candy section. I do love me some candy! read more

This is probably one of the best looking dollar trees (or 1.25 tree now). Overall is spacious and I have always found what I was looking for . Unfortunately, I can't say the same for their customer service. I understand it's the dollar tree and not Nordstrom but that doesn't mean they should be so rude. I don't visit often here because I am not from the area and I had lost this store until today when I came across it on accident again. But like I said, every time I came here without exception the cashiers are never nice. Now they don't even bag your stuff either.. Might as well have a self checkout. I was surprised to find paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, and cup of noodles here today. There's a limit on the paper products. For the paper towels, it's four. There's plenty of chicken cup of noodles in a 3 pack there too. That has been almost impossible to find anywhere now. They also have loaves of bread & hamburger buns here too. Lots of it. I was told I that this place would have it in stock weeks ago by a lady on yelp. I should've gone here sooner! This place is always clean & well organized. I hope that people stop hoarding stuff. I hope the toilet paper & paper towel shortage won't become the new normal. That'd really suck. read more

I like this dollar tree except I don't like the white kid with glasses and long hair. He is very rude. I get that it's a Dollar Tree but everyone else is very nice. He is a problem. He is consistently rude every time. He leaves his coworkers with long lines and announces he's going on break. It ruins my shopping experience. I also saw him at the grocery outlet acting very rudely and impatient in line because he decided to go grocery shopping on his break and harassing others in line who are making larger purchases because of his choices and made me feel like I can't come either to the Dollar Tree or Grocery Outlet in this complex because nasty unpleasant people like him act like they own the place. This Dollar Tree location has quite a bit of merchandise for sale, but just like all other Dollar Trees, it's always very dirty. I appreciate that the employees consistently put out new merchandise, but blocking the aisle ways when they aren't even on the sales floor is not only a safety hazard but also a huge reason to make you not want want to shop here. The parking area is always a mess as far as congestion and even if they're at the busiest times, they only have one or two registers open. read more

This store is actually pretty decent compared to other Dollar Trees. Nice selection and well organized. You just have to be weary about the cashiers. I watched the customer in front of me get rung up for the same item twice a couple of times. Since I couldn't see the screen and the customer didn't say anything I figured it was a computer glitch. However when it was my turn the cashier did the same thing to me! Rang me up twice for a couple items. I called her out on it and she claimed to have removed the duplicates, however when I examined the receipt afterwards they were not removed. I decided to not make a big fuss for $2 since I think it was just plain incompetence. I mean the bar has got to be pretty low to work here. read more

I went shopping for gifts for my students (because nothing shows you care like a Dollar Tree bag). I got Rattlesnake Eggs, a whoopie cushion, ear buds, and the like. On that day I found two separate dollars taped up. Like a dollar fairy. I looked around to make sure I wasn't on What Would You Do and then pocketed the cash. So maybe that's why this is my favorite Dollar Tree. Or maybe because it's huge, local, and a parking lot the size of Disneyland. Or maybe because it's next to our favorite pho place. Or maybe it's because it's a place to buy cheap candy on the way to Cinelux Campbell. Or maybe because it's near a Big Lots, in case the superintendent comes by and one dollar presents won't do and I need three dollar presents. I truly feel like a cheapskate in this place, standing in line with a basket full of stuff and knowing it all costs less than a pizza. In this neighborhood you never know if the person next to you is hurting to make the next month's rent or is a multi-millionaire. I buy bleach, foot powder, huge glass tankards that hold a quart of water and occasionally a food product like a jar of peppers or giardinera. Yesterday I noticed some tiny packages of frozen shrimp. I bought two that were butterflied and two marked 'popcorn.' I figured it was worth $4 to have some shrimp for lunch. Go for the butterflied shrimp. If you gave me the popcorn shrimp and asked me what it was filled with I wouldn't have known. But for $2 I got a dozen junky fried shrimp. If you bought $10 worth you'd have 60 shrimp, enough for a few guests to munch on at a football game! You won't confuse these with anything gourmet but for a quick cheap snack they are hard to beat. You can see in the picture I posted that for $4 it's a good bit of food. Admittedly it's coated in a heavy breading but that's to be expected. I made a quick seafood sauce (ketchup, dill, ginger, Worcestesheestershirerer sauce, black pepper, cider vinegar, Cholula hot sauce and honey) and a big salad and it was a nice lunch. I had a couple of pieces of smoked beef left over from a BBQ place and I chopped those and threw them on the salad. read more
