My 4-year-old briefly touched a balloon that was already deflated on the floor. Kellie sharply scolded him to stop touching it. I immediately called my son back to stand beside me. My son then asked if he had behaved well and if he could still get candy. Before I could answer, Kellie told him, "No, you don't listen." I corrected her and reassured my child. During payment, I requested cash back. Kellie scolded me for not asking first and aggressively handed me the money. As we were leaving, my son again touched the same balloon on the ground. Kellie scolded him again. I calmly told her, "I'm sorry you're having such a bad day." She replied that she was sorry I was having a bad day. I told her I was having a great day and that she was being rude to people and scolding children. While I was paying for my son's candy near the exit, Kellie repeatedly said "GET OUT" and threatened to call the police. My 4-year-old became hysterical, crying that he was going to be arrested for touching a balloon. Assistant manager Aurora told us to leave and said no manager was present. Afterward, I attempted to call the store multiple times with no answer. I returned briefly to ask how to file a complaint and was told they could not provide corporate contact information or assist me in submitting a complaint, only that the manager would be in the next day. I contacted police non-emergency to document the incident. I was advised that although customers must leave when told, the employee's behavior qualified as disorderly conduct due to public escalation and emotional distress caused to a minor. I have since found multiple reviews describing similar behavior by an older employee at this location, which makes this feel like an ongoing issue rather than an isolated incident. We will not be returning to this store, and I do not recommend bringing children here as long as management stands behind this type of conduct and makes no effort to protect families or address complaints. I have also contact corporate. I've never been treated so poorly nor have I ever seen someone be so cross with children. We won't return and I recommend the Centerville location over this mess of a store and extremely poor customer service.

To clarify, this is Randall Brothers, and apparently there are a few (?) in the area. Pretty big gas station/convenience stores, with lots of fountain drinks to choose from, and plenty of snacks. I was in and out for the gasoline, and that's about as easy as you can make it. Lots of pumps, same crummy prices as the next guy. As a side note, I'm a topper. I know that "topping off" your gas (pushing it past the point where it clicks off in search of ending on a round number) is advertised as "creating a hazardous condition" in many a warning label, but that's who I am. A topper. Be warned that, at least my pump tonight, kind of stuck a little. Combine that with the fact that even a short squeeze of the pump at these ridiculous prices blasts out at least a dime at a time, and you've got a condition tonight that hand me ending on a very non-round number. The Meat department team is also Great..... ... EXCEPT for one old gray haired/gray bearded man. I worked with him today 12/27 only because nobody else was available. He is quite the opposite of the others. He clearly couldn't care less about quality and even suggested I go somewhere else. If they were all like that old man I would NEVER go back. He is soo lazy and always has an excuse why they can't do things certain ways and complains about any and every special request. And of course, he screwed up the cuts today and claimed he could not make the cuts requested. His excuse today was there's not enough staff present so he couldn't cut things the way I requested. He is soo LAZY! He needs to be taught how to be a meat cutter we're put him in the housekeeping department. He really shouldn't be around customers or food with his aptitude and behaviors. Furthermore, someone needs to suggest he wear a hairnet over that nasty beard!!! Maybe I've just been spoiled with the great service from the rest of the meat department and other teams! The bottom line is (if I have to work with that ornery gray haired lazy bugger I will never use the meat department again. If Harmons wants to have a custom meat department then someone needs to teach/coach him about customer Relations and more importantly teach him how to be a meat cutter. You can be sure I will be avoiding that department when that negative lazy a** is present!!
