After donating my items, I noticed a DKNY tote bag for $20! You could probably purchase this new at TJ Max for not much more. What's going on with independent thrift stores that are pricing like Goodwill? When I asked about the high pricing on the DNKY tote bag, the clerk quipped back some sarcastic remark. I immediately walked down a food aisle and had to get a red bean paste bun. I ate it when I got back to my host's house and needed to try it right away. Though chock full of preservatives and sugar, I still loved it. I also bough a few knickknacks that I can give to my granddaughter on a holiday and a useful mesh bag for me. If I lived, I would stop in from time to time as some of the household items looked very useful. The prices are very very affordable. Even coming at 9 am, there's still a crowd waiting to get in. I've learned if you just wait in your vehicle till about 6 or 7 minutes after then open the gates, the crowd has all gone in and no lines for the baskets. I gte my card scanned in no prob. The inside looks about like most Costco's look with all the big TV's up front and the meat all the way in the back. I do like the prime grade meat the have available at Costco. Here's a tip, if you're looking to get a bunch of meat, say steaks, prime or choice grade, you can get significant discounts if you ask the meat guy for the bulk packs and slice the steaks yourself. I got some prime Chuck steaks regular price $17.99 a pound for just $12.25 a pound by buying the bulk vac sealed pack. Well, I can't stop into a Costco and not get a hot dog for $1.50! That's almost free in the big scheme of things, along with a soda.

It was a mistake on my part and I apologized . The checker excuse the Spelling Kamaia launched into "look what you did! there is liquid all over my area." She was so mad as if I killed her puppy her reaction was mean, nasty and cruel emotionally over the top putting me down. " I have seen you take bottles to the customer service area." I said sometimes the checkers put them behind in her station and some times they ask me to put them on the floor over there. So Kamalia called over Brandy a manager who was also sooo rude. The attendants are friendly and efficient at the gas pumps. Before I could even get out of the car, the gentleman was at my window to assist. Good thing cause I would have forgotten again that it is against the law to pump your own gas in Oregon. They get real busy being so close to the interstate. Prices look to be the lowest in the area. Store is fine. Service is good. All reasons to return when driving in this part of the country.

The drying machine here does not dry your clothing after one full hour of drying on high heat. It…read morecharged the other guy drying his clothing three times for one dry load (which probably won't even dry his clothes). All the truck stops I've been to which Pilot runs has this issue. Making drivers pay several times to dry their clothing is not okay. Also there is no seating in the laundry room (unlike most truck stops) so you have to stand the entire time. There are only two washing machines so if another driver is cleaning their clothing and you walk up then you're likely going to have to wait for them to get done. I had a bad laundry day here and now I have less time to sleep before driving my semi truck hundreds of miles. Not a great experience and could for sure be improved if they bothered to pay attention to their laundry room.
